I've heard people talking negatively about the Orly NASA collab. Maybe they weren't expecting red and gold in a space-themed collection. To me, this collection is exactly what I want out of a collaboration. I love when a collab influences me to get colors that I would not have picked out individually, but that end up looking really great and becoming favorites. The gold is stunning. I get so many compliments on it when I wear it, which doesn't happen very often for me. I'm not usually around people who notice nail polish. But people noticed that one. In a good way. Also, where else are you going to find that shade of red with that shade of shimmer? Nowhere. And it's gorgeous. Annnnd I absolutely agree about the topper being special occasion-worthy. White and gold have a holiday vibe to me. Over one of those magentas that come out in winter collections: stunning.
This is exactly my feelings on it too! What really made that collab special imo was bringing in a group (NASA) that could give a completely different take on nail polish, rather than the usual "space" colors that brands do like pink and purple and blue (cough cough, me LOL) They really are original colors that I wasn't expecting at all but they are completely stunning!
Can’t resist ILNP. Have bought sooooooo many of their polishes this year. Also loving the longevity of Cuticula. Have discovered Girly Bits polishes this year.. been very impressed. They are pretty and last ages.
I primarily buy Holo Taco and your collabs! I'm genuinely surprised you didn't mention your Halloween advent calendar because it was INCREDIBLY fun and I loved all the little polishes (wink wink please do one next year). My two favorite Holo Taco collections were the Safiya x Holo Taco and the 4th Anniversary retro collection🥰
Hah, the meat chopper thingies! I am over 60, and even after downsizing my kitchen stuff, a friend showed me that meat chopper...I bought one, and it has a prized place in my utensils! Amazing tool! Well worth the money!
Those ILNP Magnetics are superb. I’ve gotten more into Mooncat this year, and Dark Horse is SO buttery. MC’s Nightmare Before Christmas was spectacular - but mostly because of the packaging!! The glow in the darks were really good in that collection. GREAT obscure kitchen tool!! ❤
Ooh yes I did love the packaging on those NBC polishes! And of course the polishes themselves were incredible too, Mooncat absolutely killed it this year!!!
LOVED your collab with Cirque, that one is definitely one of my faves, and I'll definitely be wearing at least Golden Nights for NYE 💖! My other standouts are (in no particular order): Mooncat's Alice in Wonderland collab, Holo Taco's After Party + Holo Barista, Orly's Hopeless Romantic, and Starrily's Jellyfish Journey collections
I am not a collection person! Or at least I wasn't, lol. This was the year I discovered indie brands and my world has been ROCKED in the best way. Holo Taco's After Party is the first FULL collection I bought as a collection - I immediately fell in love with the colors and finishes. I am slowly acquiring all of Mooncat's Underworld because UGH, it is so, so good. Those would be my top two. I am so looking forward to exploring more indies next year!! I definitely have Starrily and KBShimmer on my list and I am so excited!
Ooh yessss falling down the indie rabbit hole is such a fun journey! I feel like I got way more into indies this year too!! You'd love Starrily and KBS for sure, they're a similar style of formula as HT and Mooncat!
I absolutely LOVED those Orly space polishes! I feel like they were so underrated like they weren't talked about enough! Also ur shades from Cirque with that crushed holo were insanely stunning I love them so much, same with the Orly collab with ur part 1 and 2 spacey themes. Absolutely loved every color
Finally got to watch this and I'm so glad you still love the ORLY x NASA collab as much as I do! I know you've said that space stuff didn't really catch your interest until you were out of college, but for me, it was my entire childhood. My dad worked as a software engineer on Hubble for 3 decades of his career! I grew up as a very spoiled space nerd: visiting Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD regularly, eating lunch with my dad in the card-entry-only computer bays; getting to meet an astronaut; also getting to me the actress who played Seven of Nine on "Star Trek: Voyager" back in 2000, when the show was still on the air… VERY spoiled! 😅 This collab happened to drop RIGHT after my dad retired from his most-recent, non-space-adjacent job, but also RIGHT before his birthday, so my mom and I snatched up those Hubble decals immediately after your review went up! I love doing hand-painted/magnetic/stamped galaxy nails, but it was extremely surreal to have those iconic images of REAL GALAXIES that my dad helped to capture ON MY NAILS for him to see. (First time he cared about a nail polish collection, too 😂)
I loved the Orly NASA colab! I only got perseverance though. I love the bottle and the color. My favorite cooking utensil is my chain mail glove. I cut myself with a 9" chefs knife! I always wear it when I use a knife, and now I'm boning whole chickens in no time.
I totally agree about ILNP! I've never bought a whole collection b4 but OMS! These colors! BTW, I'm a cook and please, try adding a table spoon of milk to your ground beef once you've gotten it on heat for a few minutes. The milk does a magic act on the meat proteins and makes the ground meat separate into small pieces, it's magic, and doesn't do anything to the flavor of the meat since you discard any liquid when you drain off the fat! Is swear, it will change your ground beef life!! 🎉HNY!!!!!!!🎉

Leaving out your collabs, I would have picked Cadillacquer’s Wednesday collection. It had a beautiful thermal, magnetic, reflective, a pastel pink, and a deep blue with red glitters. The magnetic was named Wednesday. I swear, it looked best in low light as compared to sunlight. That’s so Wednesday. The Enid polish matched that character’s personality perfectly. You Break Her Heart, I’ll Nailgun Yours cracked me up as it had red matte glitters that reminded me of a nailgun injury without being gross.
Mooncat's Underworld Collection was the first complete polish collection I've purchased. I loved every color. I'm surprised that Holo Tacos After Party Collection wasn't mentioned. I love it as I adore glitter and blingy polishes. Thank you for your awesome videos Kelli, as a polish newbie your videos have helped me so much. 😊
All of these are stunninnggg! I think mine would be: 1) ILNP Fairy Forest - mainly because pixie party and up above quickly became 2 of my fav shades ever! 2) Painted Polish Keep Calm & Fall On - such a unique collection 3) ILNP Overcast - i'm obsessed with the jelly+flakies formula 4) Mooncat Midnight Rodeo - again, very unique! 5) Holo Taco Holo Barista - probably boring for a lot of people, but these colors are for meee Thank you for all the videos this year Kelli, you are my go-to channel for swatches of new collections.

Me reading the title “top 5?” Ha! “Oh wait collections”… its possible haha Also I just removed my first ILNP polish… and the glitter removes like magic with normal remover. I was fully expecting it to be a pain in the butt and I was shocked! Def a fan!
My obscure game-changing kitchen instrument is a set of automatic salt and pepper grinders. You hover them over your food and presto! You just don't know until you know. I also own the meat separating gadget and the love using it for all the things you had mentioned.
I'm so glad you did this video. I can now make a list of collections I like. My nail budget this Christmas went to my nail stamping so now I have to catch up on buying my collections. Not to mention I'm having to rework my nail storage space. I have to say my favorite collection in this video is the midnight rodeo. Thank you for all that you do. Take care of yourself.
I totally could have predicted 3 of these! I have Orly's NASA collection & I love it. I have your entire Remix collection & I love it! I didn't get the entire Rodeo collection, but that was absolutely my favorite Mooncat collection of the year. I know you didn't mention it, but the Halloween advent calendar was also one of my top picks of the year & I am wishing they'll come out with the minis as regular size. So awesome! Thanks Kelli for being such a big part of my year. It's been rough with my health (actually had surgery today) & your reviews helped me so much as I dove into nail polish. I'm going to spend the next two weeks doing my nails as much as possible while I'm on bedrest. ❤ Hope your surgery is successful & your recovery smooth! 😘

I was surprised how much I loved Spirit of Peace. I loved wearing it by itself too. And Midnight Rodeo collection was my fave overall collection. There were just several great releases this year!

I think that's actually how I found your channel (or at least it was around that time) and I just remember going, wait a NASA nail polish collab?!?!?! Insta-buy! Everyone always sees me wear Perseverance and they say it's a perfect fall color, but I'm always like no you don't understand, it's Mars! Personally, the Orly/NASA collab was my favorite collection of the year. I bought 2 of the entire collection. And I don't usually like red and/or gold polishes..

Do these polishes do something special if you're in outer space? Does the government make money from this collection? I have so many questions!!! LOL. I'm not surprised they didn't crack your top 5, but I thought Holo Taco's summer collection (the vacation one) or their New Year's Eve collection were going to make the honorable mentions - we FINALLY got mixed formulas, and I think they're gorgeous together and really worked as sets. Plus Tax Haven, Late Checkout, and Midnight Owl are probably in my top 10 polishes for the year. Disco Dust is probably a top 5 topper for me, too.
@@KelliMarissa I really loved those too! I was surprised at how long they stayed in stock - not sure if they just made a ton or if only some of us appreciated them, but I hope HT does more in that formula eventually!

My number one collection is Cadillacquer Summer 2023 with ILNP Under the Sea and Mooncat Underworld coming close. Painted Polish speckles are awesome, I love that they are one-coaters, such a great selection for a quick manicure! Also, your kitchen utensil is something that I've been wanting to try for a long time, gotta get myself one now, haha 😁 Our favourite is a little hand milk frother that is very useful for lots of other things!
My favorite was your Orly Haunted House collection. I loved those polishes. Lol I even bought a second one. I think my second favorite was your Orly Remix Collection. Those polishes were so beautiful. I don't know that I can think of 5 Collections. I also liked the Holo Taco 2023 anniversary Collection. I actually want to buy a couple of the INLP nightlife collection polishes.

I picked up the Cadillacquer collection. They are some of my favorite nail polishes. I even wore the green and red neon during christmas. It was perfect. I also have House of Hades and absolutely love that polish. I'm actually earing it right now!
I have many Mooncats on the top my wishlist! River Styx is actually no 1, just over House of Hades. They have so many gorgeous polishes, they're just very expensive and hard to get for me in Sweden. But yeah the ILNP ones are super cool!
I have 2 favorites...ILNP's Home for the Holidays (i love the colors, the theme, the formula and that gorgeous holographic sparkle.) and Mooncat's My Inner Apocalypse.🤘I love the name and theme of the collection, i love the names of the polishes and the dark moody vampy shades. Kelli, i can't wait to see your video of favorite polishes for 2023. I know that's going to be a very long list. 😂 So cool that you put Painted Polish on your Top 5 list. They've done some great collections this year. That's a brand i've fallen in love with this year along with ILNP.

My favorite collections this year: 4. Orly Plot Twist (I wore a skittle of these and really enjoyed it) 3. Holo Taco Holo Barista (I just went nuts and ordered all of them, love the finish, love a brown polish) 2. Noodles Nail Polish Holiday 2023 (My favorite indy brand and this holiday release was adorable!) 1. ILNP Home for the Holidays! Spiced Cider knocked me off my feet and after that I went back and got the whole collection. I love the holo sparkle in jellies. So good.
Prism polish wednesday/adams family collection was cracking! Also i too love a speckle polosh. Illamasqua dod a collection back in the day and i still have a few.
I think Mooncat's Alice in Wonderland was my fave! When it came out, I bought it to own cause it looked so amazing, but I was thinking I would only really love the 3 darker shades. But when I tried other shades, I fell so hard for them that now I adore every shade in that collection ✨️✨️✨️
your Cirque Vegas collab is being delivered today - it was in the clearance sale and i'm excited to see them all in person. i also bought the Orly NASA collab and your original and remix collabs and love them all. otherwise, i'm not really shopping full collections, but pick and choose select polishes.
Mooncat Midnight Rodeo was so surprising, like I didn't think I liked it that much at the time. Now I own half the collection, it really is beautiful. Especially the browns. 🤎
I’ve tried to be more thoughtful about purchases this year (after spending WAY too much on the final BKL sale at the beginning of the year lol) so I haven’t bought a ton of full collections this year but my hubs was born and raised in Vegas and they had it on sale so I couldn’t resist getting your cirque collab last week. The Rainbow Chip Realm part 2 collection is probably my favorite of your top 5 and also the ILNP Nightlife. I LOVE the meat chopper utensil! 😂 I have one and I use it all the time. Best thing ever!
I love your reviews and collabs! Great job this year 💕 One of my favorite polishes this year was Cirque Rockaway. I couldn't get enough of this color! It's literally my go to that I keep reaching for over and over. Great year round! My favorite combo is to put the topper Tinsel from Orly over it 💚❤️

I’m going to have to try that kitchen tool you’re talking about because I like ground beef to be really fine too. One kitchen tool that comes to mind is a slap chopper. They’re fun to use but they are so convenient and fast too. Another one that comes to mind was a garlic peeler that’s just a silicone tube-shaped thing and I got mad at it and showed my boyfriend like “Look at this. This thing doesn’t work!” And I rolled the clove of garlic a lot harder because I was mad, making me look pretty stupid but now I like it because it works when you actually use it right.
I’m wearing the MC HOH I got for Christmas. I also bought Venetian sky from your collection. My favorite based on swatches I’ve seen was definitely glam polish’s go with the float. Beautiful neons with interesting flakies but sadly too costly for me to afford
I was painting my nails with Orly Breathable Don't Sweet It just as they came on your video! Nails need a bit of tlc and i think it's the most versatile of the collection. Love the ILNP Overcast collection too

These are great picks! Definitely agree with Painted Polish Rainbow Chip Realm pt 2 (that was one that I bought the whole collection of) and Mooncat Midnight Rodeo! I honestly would put Kelli’s Galaxy up there. AND the Cirque Vegas collection 💗 I know it’s hard for you to put your Collabs up there, but I absolutely loved them! I haven’t tried any of those ILNP’s! Newly into magnetics, I’ve only tried ILNP Fawn and HT Menchie Cat eye. I do love both of those, just find magnetics so time-consuming. After this review, thinking of picking up some of those. They are super cool 😎
I was so sure that ILNP Nightlife would be number one, I would have been shocked if it wasn't. It honestly was mine too, I remember having a nailpolishgasm while watching your video 😂. I also just got some of the shades right before Christmas 🥰😋 I am also thinking about wearing "High Roller" on my wedding day, since my wedding dress is going to be purple
I love obscure kitchen gadgets! I don’t have the meat thing but got a set of measuring spoons with labels that say, a pinch, a smidgen and such! They’re so cute!! 😂 Our daughter gave them to me for Christmas this year! ❤

I really enjoyed Orly’s Sweet Retreat collection, too. I just ordered some of the Painted Polish’s Rainbow Chip polishes. I’m excited to try them! One of my favorite collections this year came from the indie brand Sweet & Sour Lacquer. It was her Rock Candy collection. They were iridescent flakes in lightly tinted based. They are stunning on the nails and can be easily used as toppers, too.
ILNP always kills it with their collections! They’ve quickly risen to one of my top three favorite brands! My favorite of 2023 is the Overcast Collection.
Love your lipstick in this video! I would say the Mooncat Underworld set as well, as well as ILNP's space themed collection they released earlier this year. ILNP has rarely disappointed me over the years though. I also really enjoyed your remixed collection with ORLY as well😉

I hate the speckled. I am here for flakies for my number 1 at this new polish phase! And my 2nd fav would be magnetics, and a green with pink shimmer, and muted colors (the ILNP collection).
ILNP is my new favorite right now. I wasn't a fan of dark colors or black before trying out their polishes. I haven't tried out any from the nightlife yet, but I agree they're gorgeous! I love that you show how they look without magnetization. Hope you're doing well post-surgery and healing well! Thanks for putting these out...love your videos!

I grew up as a very spoiled space nerd: visiting Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD regularly, eating lunch with my dad in the card-entry-only computer bays; getting to meet an astronaut; also getting to me the actress who played Seven of Nine on "Star Trek: Voyager" back in 2000, when the show was still on the air… VERY spoiled! 😅 This collab happened to drop RIGHT after my dad retired from his most-recent, non-space-adjacent job, but also RIGHT before his birthday, so my mom and I snatched up those Hubble decals immediately after your review went up! I love doing hand-painted/magnetic/stamped galaxy nails, but it was extremely surreal to have those iconic images of REAL GALAXIES that my dad helped to capture ON MY NAILS for him to see. (First time he cared about a nail polish collection, too 😂)
I loved the Orly NASA colab! I only got perseverance though. I love the bottle and the color.
My favorite cooking utensil is my chain mail glove. I cut myself with a 9" chefs knife! I always wear it when I use a knife, and now I'm boning whole chickens in no time.
Mooncat Underworld and the Orly x NASA collab are definitely among my favorites! I also hope they do another space/NASA collab in the future!!
ILNP Home for the Holidays was so perfect and just screamed holidays and winter to me! I didn’t want to take them off 😂❤

BTW, I'm a cook and please, try adding a table spoon of milk to your ground beef once you've gotten it on heat for a few minutes. The milk does a magic act on the meat proteins and makes the ground meat separate into small pieces, it's magic, and doesn't do anything to the flavor of the meat since you discard any liquid when you drain off the fat! Is swear, it will change your ground beef life!!

Leaving out your collabs, I would have picked Cadillacquer’s Wednesday collection. It had a beautiful thermal, magnetic, reflective, a pastel pink, and a deep blue with red glitters. The magnetic was named Wednesday. I swear, it looked best in low light as compared to sunlight. That’s so Wednesday. The Enid polish matched that character’s personality perfectly. You Break Her Heart, I’ll Nailgun Yours cracked me up as it had red matte glitters that reminded me of a nailgun injury without being gross.

Mooncat's Underworld Collection was the first complete polish collection I've purchased. I loved every color. I'm surprised that Holo Tacos After Party Collection wasn't mentioned. All of these are stunninnggg! I think mine would be:
1) ILNP Fairy Forest - mainly because pixie party and up above quickly became 2 of my fav shades ever!
2) Painted Polish Keep Calm & Fall On - such a unique collection
3) ILNP Overcast - i'm obsessed with the jelly+flakies formula
4) Mooncat Midnight Rodeo - again, very unique!
5) Holo Taco Holo Barista - probably boring for a lot of people, but these colors are for meee

My obscure game-changing kitchen instrument is a set of automatic salt and pepper grinders. You hover them over your food and presto! You just don't know until you know.

I'm so glad you did this video. I can now make a list of collections I like. My nail budget this Christmas went to my nail stamping so now I have to catch up on buying my collections. I totally could have predicted 3 of these! I have Orly's NASA collection & I love it. I have your entire Remix collection & I love it! I didn't get the entire Rodeo collection, but that was absolutely my favorite Mooncat collection of the year.
I know you didn't mention it, but the Halloween advent calendar was also one of my top picks of the year & I am wishing they'll come out with the minis as regular size. So awesome!

Personally, the Orly/NASA collab was my favorite collection of the year. I bought 2 of the entire collection. And I don't usually like red and/or gold polishes..

I'm not surprised they didn't crack your top 5, but I thought Holo Taco's summer collection (the vacation one) or their New Year's Eve collection were going to make the honorable mentions - we FINALLY got mixed formulas, and I think they're gorgeous together and really worked as sets. Plus Tax Haven, Late Checkout, and Midnight Owl are probably in my top 10 polishes for the year. Disco Dust is probably a top 5 topper for me, too.
Honestly if I had to pick a fave Holo Taco collection for this year, it'd be the anniversary set with those gorgeous neon jellies!

My number one collection is Cadillacquer Summer 2023 with ILNP Under the Sea and Mooncat Underworld coming close. Painted Polish speckles are awesome, I love that they are one-coaters, such a great selection for a quick manicure! Also, your kitchen utensil is something that I've been wanting to try for a long time, gotta get myself one now, haha 😁 Our favourite is a little hand milk frother that is very useful for lots of other things!

I picked up the Cadillacquer collection. They are some of my favorite nail polishes. I even wore the green and red neon during christmas. It was perfect. I also have House of Hades and absolutely love that polish. I'm actually earing it right now!

I think Mooncat's Alice in Wonderland was my fave! When it came out, I bought it to own cause it looked so amazing, but I was thinking I would only really love the 3 darker shades. But when I tried other shades, I fell so hard for them that now I adore every shade in that collection ✨️✨️✨️
Honestly the lighter shades in that set are CRIMINALLY underrated!!!
your Cirque Vegas collab is being delivered today - it was in the clearance sale and i'm excited to see them all in person. i also bought the Orly NASA collab and your original and remix collabs and love them all. otherwise, i'm not really shopping full collections, but pick and choose select polishes.
Mooncat Midnight Rodeo was so surprising, like I didn't think I liked it that much at the time. Now I own half the collection, it really is beautiful. Especially the browns. 🤎

One of my favorite polishes this year was Cirque Rockaway. I couldn't get enough of this color! It's literally my go to that I keep reaching for over and over. Great year round! My favorite combo is to put the topper Tinsel from Orly over it 💚❤️
My no1 collection was Polished for days Day glo neon collection, but the Cadillacquer was the second one. Maybe I'll give a try to the ILNP, thanks for this video too😊

I’m going to have to try that kitchen tool you’re talking about because I like ground beef to be really fine too.
One kitchen tool that comes to mind is a slap chopper. They’re fun to use but they are so convenient and fast too. Another one that comes to mind was a garlic peeler that’s just a silicone tube-shaped thing and I got mad at it and showed my boyfriend like “Look at this. This thing doesn’t work!” And I rolled the clove of garlic a lot harder because I was mad, making me look pretty stupid but now I like it because it works when you actually use it right.
Haha!! I've always wanted one of those slap choppers, they seem so convenient but I'm nervous it'll be a pain to clean!

I was so sure that ILNP Nightlife would be number one, I would have been shocked if it wasn't. It honestly was mine too, I remember having a nailpolishgasm while watching your video 😂. I just ordered some of the Painted Polish’s Rainbow Chip polishes. I’m excited to try them! One of my favorite collections this year came from the indie brand Sweet & Sour Lacquer. It was her Rock Candy collection. They were iridescent flakes in lightly tinted based. They are stunning on the nails and can be easily used as toppers, too.
ILNP always kills it with their collections! They’ve quickly risen to one of my top three favorite brands! My favorite of 2023 is the Overcast Collection.
Love your lipstick in this video! I would say the Mooncat Underworld set as well, as well as ILNP's space themed collection they released earlier this year. ILNP has rarely disappointed me over the years though. I also really enjoyed your remixed collection with ORLY as well😉

I hate the speckled. I am here for flakies for my number 1 at this new polish phase! And my 2nd fav would be magnetics, and a green with pink shimmer, and muted colors (the ILNP collection).
ILNP is my new favorite right now. I wasn't a fan of dark colors or black before trying out their polishes. I haven't tried out any from the nightlife yet, but I agree they're gorgeous!
