They laughed at her question because it was such an honest question from a child. They were not laughing at her or her question, but at the juxtaposition of such an insightful question coming from the mind of a child.

@@fuzzycounsellor9147 I think he could have been clearer in his response because the answer to her question is rooted and has more to do with free will ! There was no guarantee that man would fall but GOD was prepared in case man did.. Bottom line God did not want to populate the universe with automatons or puppets, - GOD wanted free will volitional beings.. what gives our love, worship and devotion to GOD validity is that we do it of our own free will.. If we were forced to Worship GOD it would be empty and meaningless.. Like a woman that's in a relationship with a man only for his money..So GOD allowed free will through the tree of good and evil to determine who would serve/worship him in spirit and truth !

kaleb Gonzales, those people are worshipping demons, the word god is an acronym of the word,
gadre'el, a extraterrestrial demon. Like JEW is a acronym of JUDAH, which is "one" of thirteen tribes. Notice there is no "e" or "w" in judah. You are following a religion, that you have not thoroughly studied. You don't know who the so called hebrews descended from, and what they worshipped. I'll give you a clue, they descended from Amorites & Hitites, who
worshipped Sumerian extraterrestrial gods. Yahway is also a sumerian god, originally a serpent god, and his wife is Asherah. ( Numbers 21:9 Moses makes an IDOL of a serpent on a pole). The whole world has been duped. They are too lazy to do any real research. They just believe what they are told. In Egypt the serpent is called Apep (the epitome of evil), which would have been known to Moses, who went to egyptian mystery school. The pole is the ROD of Anu, (they were drilling & mining for gold) (the pole is the huge drill, the grooves of the drill bit wraps around like a snake). Anu the ruler of all sumerian extraterrestrial gods. These extraterrestrial gods are the founders of ancient Sumer & Egypt & ancient India, the Indus valley civilization. The snake on the pole has changed names, it is also known as Zu or Ningizzida, and later also as the Rod of Asclepius.
If you want to know what really happened you must go back to the beginning, not the middle or the end. You have to research the oldest civilizations, and what they worshipped, or you will be duped.

To have real love. We have to choose to love God. Not be forced to love him. Which is called free will. That is truly a God of love!

    • @scotte4765
      @scotte4765 5 ปีที่แล้ว +24

Except that compulsory love is right there in the Bible, touted as God's greatest commandment. Thou SHALT love God. That's what "commandment" means. You're ordered to do it. "Command" is part of the word. Do you ever command your spouse or children to love you? You'll probably want to argue that we can still choose not to, but the Bible has that covered as well: suffer in torment for eternity if that is your decision. That's free will only in the most narrow and legalistic sense; a five-year-old can see the injustice and lack of freedom in "do this or else".

Well first of all hell is not a place. It’s the grave. Hell fire is the lake of fire. Which was meant for satan and his angels. But after man fell it was also meant for those choose to follow him. God is holy and good but sin is so far from who God is. So it separated us from him. So if you choose to love God. Then love him with all thy heart and soul. But we have to first choose him. If God was not love he would have and could have destroyed satan the angels who rebelled with him and all mankind along time ago. God bless you!

      @@michaeldiaz754
So you believe hell is not eternal torment but simply the end of existence? That's somewhat better I suppose, but you've still got God COMMANDING us to love him, or else our existence will be ended, which is much the same as you or I threatening to kill another human being if they don't do what we want. Regardless of the consequences, you still avoided giving any explanation of why ordering someone to love you should be considered admirable at all.

    • @michaeldiaz754
      @michaeldiaz754 5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

@ Scott You have to remember the dilemma lucifer put on God. He wanted to be like God. And he wanted to be worshipped like him. Which if you are the created being you are not deserving of being worshipped like the creator. It would be like a you wanting to be honored in your family as a parent. But your parents are the true people who deserve to be honored as bringing you and others in the family into existence. Lucifer had been given beauty and wisdom. And he squandered it away for sin. And sin is the transgression of Gods law. For without the law there would be no sin. So the law has always existed in Gods creation. Satan is what Lucifer is called now. Because it means the adversary. Not just to God but all his creation and his law. Now again I say the law is only for those who chose to follow him. So you have free will to do as you want. But God in his word tells us that sin will destroy you. So yes there is only two choices. But choosing God offers eternal life. The other does not. And God has to put an end to sin. For all the people who choose him. Because he is Just.

It was not the tree of, "Good and evil," it was the, "The tree of the knowledge of good and evil." It was not a tree covered in fruit some good and some evil, like good fruit and rotten fruit. As Eve said, "It was a tree of fruit to make one wise." It was a tree of knowledge, not seeking God's ways but her own. If was a tree of self-satisfaction and self-realization; God was left out.

At this point, Satan was already a sinner and a deceiver. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents Satan. The tree of life represents Jesus. When Adam and Eve chose to partake of the fruit of the first tree, they essentially chose to participate in Satan's disobedience. That is why Satan has power in this world. We opened the door for him to enter and take over.
The book of Revelations says that in paradise there will be a tree of life. The only way we can eat from it is to believe in Jesus and participate in his Holiness.

Chris Serna that's deep. Literally Yah was in one ear, and ha' Shatan in the other..
'choose this day, life or death' just like he did in Deuteronomy 30:15-18 (KJV)
      See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
      But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

God had to give man free will to choose to obey Him or not. Genuine love and worship has to be freely given. If God created us to be without the freedom to choose then there wouldn't be any point of life.
Of course God knew man would sin because only God is truly good. God planned to send His Son Jesus Christ to die as a sacrifice for man's sin even BEFORE He created the world and man. God is all knowing and wise, therefore we never have to worry about what God is doing because He loves us so much that He would even come down to earth and dwell amongst us and give His life, shed His precious blood for our sins. Only the blood of Holy God can cleanse us of all sin. That is why Jesus Christ is the only way, truth and life that leads to God the Father.
    Amen!!!!

George M how does free will exist. If everything is part of gods plan and already planned out ? By that logic. God knows who will kill people. Tape, molest, etc etc. And allows it to happen. Cause part of his plan for those people.

    • @Mcfirefly2
      @Mcfirefly2 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Martin Vargas
Foreknowledge is not everything planned out, although it allows planning that takes into account what various ones are going to do. Foreknowledge is knowing; it is not making the future happen.
The manager of KMart sat in an office raised above the store, behind 2-way mirrors. He could see all over the store; perhaps not everything, but enough of each aisle to see when something was going on. He sees a shoplifter on Aisle 6. He watches him, and when it is confirmed that the man stuffed an item in his clothes, he gets on the phone or intercom and gets the lady at the Service Desk to walk outside, telling her who to look for, and he gets the store detective to move in behind the man to follow him out of the store. As the man moves into the main aisle to the door, his eyes follow every step. He has orchestrated the arrest of the shoplifter, with no more than seeing what is happening down there. Without leaving his office, he has gotten the man stopped by store employees, and the police are on their way.
God does not have to make _everything_ happen, to make those things He has declared He is going to make happen, happen. Yes, He made creation happen. He has declared that He has predestined certain things, but none if that requires that He make sin and the fall happen. In fact, He would be misleading the world to say that He tempts no one, if He predestined sin to happen, then held man accountable for what he could in no way not do.

"God" as we choose to call Him.... can see the infinite realities of every choice. But He is LOVE. And He is righteousness. So he is 100% always seeking and awaiting the reality where the RIGHT choice is made. He is never awaiting the evil choice. Evil, though always a possibility, is not a place He conducts business. Its is as foreign to Him as East is to West.

Actually we enter into a binding covenant with him the day we receive him as our Lord and Savior. It’s eternally binding. All covenants are. Also we are sealed till the day of redemption with a seal only the lamb can open because it is his. You cannot remove yourself from God’s hand. Satan didn’t leave, he was cast out as a punishment. Angels aren’t given the grace we are. That is Christ’s covenant with us. The Bible says let your yeas be yeas and your nays, nays. Swear not upon anything of the heavens or the earth. Promises, covenants, vows are binding. It’s your choice to choose Christ or deny him but once you do he is obligated to uphold his promise. The wrath of God cannot abide upon you but be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man Soweth that also shall he reap. He may not send us to hell but we will give account for what we do and we will reap our reward good or evil.

@Truth Seeker there is no way I can address all the errs in your thinking on this platform Hun but it is clear you are not a Christian nor are you using a King James 1611 Bible. I have been saved in the Lord for 28yrs. I am a pastor’s daughter and was a missionary for 20yrs. I was a pastor’s wife for 18yrs. I see such a hodgepodge of doctrines in your beliefs that it’s like detangling a matted mess. First off, grace is not the same as repentance. Repentance is a heart felt sorrow for our actions and a turning away from our sins because of that sorrow and acknowledgment that we have sinned against God. Because of that and our calling out for God to save save us from that sin and to be our Lord and Savior we enter into a covenant with him through faith. For this he gives us grace. Grace is when we received something of the lord we do not deserve. Like when Christ provides the payment for our sins by shedding his innocent blood and dying in our stead. This is also mercy because we do not bear the punishment for our sins because he takes that punishment for us. We become a new creature. We are washed in his blood and receive his righteousness. Notice we don’t have righteousness of our own because we are not sinless just blameless. Without Christ none of this works. Our sin nature doesn’t die. We go to war with it. Read Paul’s account. He clearly states the things he wouldn’t do he does and what he should do he doesn’t because sin is in him and it’s a battle. Just read Romans. We are in Christ, the members of Christ, his bride, not his sibling and as his bride God sees us as one body with him. Angels do sin, which is why we shall judge them. They rebel. But they do not have grace as we do. He expects them to obey. Free will is not the ability to think for yourself but the right to choose for yourself. Angels do not have that. God tells us sin is with us from birth, none are born sinless. The reason Christ is sinless is that God placed him in Mary’s womb. He was not created through physical means and carries no familial DNA from Mary. That is how he could be born without inheriting the sin of Adam’s race. He is our Lord not our Boss. We serve him out of loyalty not duty or payment. God is a trinity not 2 parts, he is God the Father, Jesus Christ (The Word), and the Holy Spirit. They are one. Just as we are one in Christ. He gives payment for our sins and other than accepting his gift we have nothing to do with that agreement between him and God. Like Boaz going to his kinsman to secure Ruth as his bride. She had no role in the negotiations. As Jacob made a covenant with the Lord and the Lord caused a deep sleep to come upon Jacob and he made the covenant whilst Jacob slept. Jacob did not hold the covenant, The Lord did. When you repent and choose Christ many changes take place you do not control. First, your sins are washed away in the blood of Christ. The record of them is blotted out. Second, you are sealed until the day of redemption. The soul within you is separated from your flesh so the deeds of the flesh cannot corrupt your soul. This is because sin is still in you it is just not one with you. Just as we are in the world but we are not supposed to be one with it but separate. This means our souls maintain a sinless state even though our flesh may not. The flesh can be punished for our sins but are soul is safe and sealed in the spirit. The Bible says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee….Low, I am with you always…” he leaves with us his spirit to teach us and interpret the will of God for us. Christ takes residence in us. We become a living temple and our heart the holy of Holies. The thrown room. No one can remove us from his hand. He states it clearly. That means you cannot remove yourself from God. Just like he and his father are one we are one in Christ. God is not willing that any should perish. We are commanded to preach unto every creature. It’s hard enough trying to overcome sin in our lives let alone preach to every creature for no reason. God does not lie so it must be his desire that everyone get saved even if free will means not everyone will. He wouldn’t waste our time with trying to lead people to Christ who can’t get saved. But nothing I say matters if you don’t have solid scripture and you are going off some corrupt text. The Bible is of no personal interpretation. Every foundational belief is supported with two or three scriptural references or witnesses to ensure it cannot be corrupted. That is why we are to seek, ask of God, and study to show ourselves approved. This way the beliefs and traditions of men, false profits, cultish beliefs do not destroy Gods true plan for mankind and us as individuals. I suggest you sincerely pray for God to reveal his truth to you and give you a spirit of discernment.

@Truth Seeker Constantine created the Catholic Church as a political option. Catholics aren’t true Bible believers. In fact Constantine didn’t create the Catholic Church it goes back to Jezabel and bail worship. He simply gave it a platform. The tribes came from Isaac and Ishmael in Genesis. Isaac’s line the lineage of his kingdom and ishmael’s that of the Arab nations. There are twelve tribes in Israel and there were twelve houses in the stars to represent them. This was set for times and signs but was distorted when the earth was shifted on it access shortening length of days and the lifespan of mankind. The calendar was created much later. It’s a man made thing not God thing. God used feasts and holy days to map out his calendar. They are actually dress rehearsals for what was to come in the New Testament and millenium. It’s like you understand many things but your vision is just a bit distorted. We are in the age of grace. What we become after this life will come with different rules and expectations. We are not under the law. Christ on the cross said the law was finished. The sabbath is 6pm Friday to 6pm Saturday. That has never changed. It is God’s day of rest. But there is no more law to hold us to it. The sabbath is not re established till the millennium. Under Old Testament law you could stone your neighbor if you caught him working on the sabbath.
Look I agree most “Christians” are not true Christians in the biblical sense but where you take it is far beyond the doctrinal confines of the Bible. I think you are named appropriately for I believe you seek the truth because you have not found it just yet. You sound much like a seventh day Adventist friend of mine. A little like some Mormons I know. I stick to the Bible and the discerning of the Holy Spirit. I have theories of our purpose and what lays between the doctrinal texts of the Bible as well but those are not provable things. Line upon line, precept upon precept. The Bible is my book of laws and expectations from God. If you are following some other text or concept of men I can’t help that. I know whom I serve. The God of Isaac and Jacob, of Noah and Abraham. I serve Jesus Christ who is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I do not serve you or your misguided doctrines. I am fallible and God has all eternity to correct any error in me and any of his other children. For no man is perfect. You take a truth than you run off with it somewhere and twist it into some outlandish thing. I fear I have answered a fool according to his folly and this will just continue to go on and on. You are dangerous for you know enough to draw people in but then you go off on a tangent leading them astray of the simple truths of God’s message. Remember Satan comes as an Angel of light. The serpent betrayed and led Eve astray with one question…”yay, hath God said….” It is a very tangled web you weave and I shall leave you to get lost in your own self righteousness but I will pray for you, that God does give you the truth you seek and you are willing to accept it when he shows it to you.

    • @hollyhobby1038
      @hollyhobby1038 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Truth Seeker first I do not have “religion” I have Faith. Jesus Christ hated religion and the traditions of men that led them astray. All who call themselves “Christians” do not originate from the same beliefs. All true believers aren’t Jews. Gentiles have been grafted in. We answer to Christ who died for us. He is our mediator. I find that those who only look to the father and will not look to Christ usually do not believe he is the messiah. When God the father looks at us he sees his only begotten son who he loves. It pleased the father that he was bruised and beaten for our transgressions. He accepted his death as propitiation for our sins.
The new Jerusalem is not on this earth. This earth is destroyed by fire. Post tribulation/post millennial. God created a new heaven and a new earth. You are confusing the millennial kingdom with the New Jerusalem.
It’s like you took all these profound truths and mixed them together out of order. You clearly need help with dispensations and who God is addressing when.
I have only responded to you because I don’t want people to be confused by you. You give no answer for where you get your doctrine, your Bible, your church. I guess I will have to go back through the messages and reference everything with chapter and verse despite going way beyond the topic this was meant to address which was to say satan did not choose to leave God. He rebelled and tried to dethrone him so God cast him out as punishment (Isaiah 14).
As for men, once you are a member of the body of Christ and received him as your Lord and Savior you cannot just decide to remove yourself from God’s hand. 1 Peter 1:3-5 our salvation is kept by God not us. John 10:27-29 God and Christ are one and “no man” can remove us from his hand. If you are human that means you too.
Christ died for all my sins past, present, and future. I answer to no other authority but him. If I turn my back on him it doesn’t change my standing in Christ. I will reap for my sins in the flesh. when I die I stand before him at the judgement seat of Christ to give account for myself as an ambassador bearing his name. I will lose treasures in heaven. I do not stand before him at the white thrown as the lost. The wrath of God cannot abide on me. It is part of his promise.
If salvation is not by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ then pray tell, how does one get to heaven? By works? God forbid, the Jews could not fulfill the law which is why Christ came. How then shall you fulfill it without his promise and saving grace? If you can lose it every time you sin then how is it eternal salvation? Again, it has been proven that Christ was the only on capable of keeping the law and then did away with it. Thus, “It is finished”.
What is your testimony of faith?
I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior on August 28, 1993 @ 15yrs old. I have been in his ministry since then. I use a King James AV 1611 Bible. I am part of an assembly of believers but I need no church or affiliation to support my beliefs. My Bible is my declaration of beliefs. Where two or more are gathered together there he is also. I do not make confession to anyone but him. For there is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.
I am not here to abolish Satan. That is between him and God. His days are numbered. I am told to resist him and he will flee. I am here to be a light and testimony for Christ in the world controlled by him. He is the landlord. How else could he temp Christ by offering to give it to him before the appointed time.
I am called to be a fisher of men and feed his sheep. To preach unto every creature. To give testimony of the faith that is in me as is every one of his children.
I will pray for you. I am not your enemy and I do hope you find the truth. Christ said, “I am The Way, The Truth, and The Light. No man cometh onto the father but by me.” I’ve found the truth and I pray you will too.

Years ago the Holy Spirit asked me a question, but I don't remember any of the circumstances leading to it:
    "Can God grow?"
My reply: NO! God is all in all!
(End of discussion. In my case, the Holy Spirit does not "discuss" anything with me).
Sometime later, I was talking to a co-worker who had five kids, and I kept thinking of all the problems just one teenager caused so I asked him:
Five kids? What do you do with five kids!?
He looked thoughtfully at me and said: You love them.
I didn't reply to him but I thought: What kind of answer is that? What is that supposed to mean?
Months later I asked the Holy Spirit what my co-worker's response was supposed to mean.
I said: Well, of course you love your kids, but that's not what I asked him. What was his point? I mean, FIVE kids! How can you be a good parent with five kids? They'll suffer. You can't dedicate enough time to five! You have to split your love and they only get one-fifth of your love.
The Holy Spirit quickened me with:
*Love is not divided; It's multiplied.*
    My reply:
    What? Huh?
(End of the Holy Spirit's reply to me).
So like a humble and devoted Christian, I countered with:
No! You have one child, you love 100%, you have two, each gets 50%, etc.
    What do You mean:
"Love is not divided? Love is multiplied." ?
It's as if You're saying that if you have one child, you love 100% , and two would mean your love jumps to 200%, and..... wait, ...
but if that's true, then what is the limit of how much love fits in a parent's heart???....
    It's limitless!
Immediately the Holy Spirit quickened me the same question from months prior:
    *Can God grow?*
    Oh!!!!!!!
    YES! *BY HAVING CHILDREN!*
Perhaps this is one reason God allows free will:
*We* choose to become His children.
    *His love grows.*
    God is love.
On a different occasion, the Holy Spirit taught me that satan strives for power through might and wisdom,
but God is ALMIGHTY because of His heart, *HIS LOVE* .
It's love that gives power, so Satan can never become "like God".
    Maranatha!!!

no. Fear is the mind killer. Know Jesus, no fear. The Creator made people to be real thinking feeling free will creatures... and they were doing very well, but still a little slow. So god had Lucifer help Eve understand she had the ability to think and make choices for herself.
Once Eve understood this, she explained it to Adam. Then they both enjoyed the Tree of Knowledge, free will and thinking.
God released them from Eden Labs and they populated all the Earth. Through Knowledge, we also have the Tree of Life.
We have these abilities now, thanks be to God, and his servant, Lucifer.

Lucifer sinned not because God withdrew His protective power or control. God created His created beings with free choice. If God had always kept the angels, including Lucifer, to be perfectly obedient, then He created only robots. Sin happened because Lucifer, and subsequently mankind (including Hezekiah), exercised free choice not to obey God. The perfection in the created beings includes this free choice, and we exercise this free choice as perfect creations. If we had been created and controlled like puppets, then we are not perfect. God wants us to love and obey Him freely, not by force.

Everything that God created was and is perfect. Mankind was perfect when they were first created. But the creation was corrupted by Sin, and nothing in this world is perfect anymore. And this what the Bible says about Lucifer, in
      Ezekiel 28:
11 The word of the Lord came to me:
12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You were the seal of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
Genesis 1: 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (the image of God is perfect)
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it-I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning-the sixth day.
Are we going to say that "all that He had made was very good, but not perfect?"

I believe a short answer could be what the bible says :" All things were created by him for him" .... We have cleaning products in our home that can harm children if they drink it. We can tell them not to drink it, if they choose to disobey they can be harmed or worse. The cleaning products were not there to harm children but to clean.

    • @Charistoph
      @Charistoph 6 ปีที่แล้ว +37

@ANDMA, I didn't say he congratulated them, please don't go attributing a statement to me that I never stated.
God put that Tree there because He wanted them to gain that knowledge. He wanted them to Fall. This was not for any measure of punishment, but so that they could grow. People do not grow in a stagnate environment. People grow through adversity. Remember what God said, "cursed is the ground for thy sake;". That is not a statement of punishment.
Having gained the knowledge provided by the fruit, Adam needed to exercise it. To properly exercise knowledge between good and evil, you need to have both good and evil in your life. Being the Garden would have done nothing for this. Adam needed to be in an environment which pushed him to grow. So we have the bad things in this world to truly appreciate the good things in this world and beyond.
A man who does not believe he has sinned, will not seek to repent. A person who has repented will know the peace that brings. To paraphrase another, there needs to be an opposition in all things. Without it, righteousness could not be brought to pass because there is no wickedness. Holiness and misery, good and bad, are all two parts of the same coin.
Sitting on a couch does not do much to exercise your muscles. It is only when you put your muscles in opposition to another force (be it another person, weights, or even your own body against gravity, whatever) that they are able to grow.
Critical learning is gained by having your views challenged and debated. That is the verbal equivalent to the thorns and briars that the gardener Adam had to deal with after leaving the Garden.
So, yes. Adam and Eve eating the fruit and Falling was all part of God's plan to help them (and by extension, us) grow. He could not congratulate them, because they did sin, but that doesn't mean He wasn't expecting it, even planning on it. He already had the plan of the Atonement in place before even the light was separated from the darkness for Earth.
Think about it, what was a greater event in history, the Creation or the Atonement of Christ? Without the Fall, Creation would not progress. Without the Atonement, Creation would have been meaningless. Without the Fall, there would have been no need for an Atonement. Within that can be found the Glory of the Christ

Life only lasts so long, we were all put on this earth for a reason which is to complete the life set out the good lord has prepared for us. Along the way it is our duty to find him through faith and to accept Jesus as our savior. After all, Jesus lived a perfect life free of sin and then died on the cross for us so humans could be forgiven of sin. Have faith, pray and have conversations with god cause he just wants to be in your life it means a lot to him for you to love him back, after all, he created you. He loves you and knows you better then you know yourself. Confess your sins to god, take responsibility for them, serve god and do good deeds. Don’t be selfish, don’t have a ego or let pride get to you, don’t let things consume you, you control your body, it doesn’t control you. Try to break away from the habits. Tell god you love him and you care. Talk to god because he loves you.

you have choices but they are not free, there are prices to pay for choices. God's Will shall be done no matter what I choose to do, therefore I am subject to it and cannot escape it no matter what decisions I choose to make therefore I am not free, If I had free Will I would sin and not die, this is not the case, we all die why? because God's will is that all who sin die, but He frees us from Death not from our Will but through His Son. This is the choice for everyone ...be subject To God's will and enjoy the benefits or go against God's will and suffer the consequences. Our choices have boundaries therefore we do not have free will.

This just pushes the question back another step... is God unable to create something that is perpetually perfect or is he unwilling to do so? If able and unwilling, why? You can't argue it's that there's a moral downside to doing so because by definition any such entity would be perfect.
If he's not able to create something that can remain perfect, is that not another way of saying he only knows how to make flawed creations?
If the only tables I could build required a pulley to hold them up, would you not question my ability to make tables?

Not a creation of programmed robots. And that's just what my mortal mind suggest. God does everything righteous God is love, is patient, long-suffering for giving to the Thousanth Generation, it's impossible for God to lie, God is Holy will not take any sin into heaven. God is light in him there is no Darkness at all. So God is Justified with all those characteristics that we know of him from the word. Also we're Made In His Image & if someone didn't ask to be born, when they become Born Again they're glad they were born and glad they can exist throughout eternity praising God that's why we were created. God is love he always had someone to love cuz there was the tri Unity from Everlasting to Everlasting. So the happiest way for us to live, and righteous way is serving him and communing with him, we get to go to the Glorious heaven. Now the happiest way for Sinners is to do what they want to do but they can't escape the Flames of Hell unless they repent in this lifetime and serve the Lord, It's a choice. Jim Merrilees first thing you're blaming the wrong god, Satan is the prince of this world & the evil one. God gives Grace to people who go through stuff to container want to live, otherwise you'd see Mass suicides, throughout the worst times in history. WRONG, God does not condone rape, the Quran does. The Bible does not condone torture. The slavery in the Bible is not like the Civil War South, more like indentured servant, voluntary. A slave was not a person's property that own them, in the Calvinist south of 1800 America, that was a completely different slavery. The Bible is miraculous. The probability that it takes for it to remain in the same non contradictory streams of thought with itself, many threads of Doctrine. The Book of Romans cosio Testament at least 61 times not contradicting the places it quoted from and the book itself. Romans is 1 out of 66 books. The New Testament has 5000 manuscript copies. Plato only has 9 original of what he wrote, so we're not sure Plato wrote Plato the probability is very low. The probability of 325 prophecies concerning Christs first coming are 10 to the 40000 power. The number goes way up exponentially because of the population narrow down to one person. Now those are facts. I'm a truth-seeker I just want to follow whats true. Sounds like you got some anger and let me just to show you that God can help out. Don't tell me you're one of those people that can trace your family tree all the way back to the Apes.... Because of sin you might be motivated..... Our sins convicted us and if we get out of sin we have a surance God also we have all the evidence on our side

      @jjphank 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Jim Merrilees no you don't know what you're talking about with the Quran nor the Bible but I'll help you out. You're just another politically correct bloke following the mainstream of whatever they believe without actually doing research. I can see you've been reading the Bible as if to look for loopholes not to believe it. Marriage in the Old Testament protects women so when a man rapes a woman he is supposed to marry her, nobody gets away with rape like they do now... without a consequence for the marriage. So someone having sex or raping a woman back then it was communally known that if you did that that you would have to marry her, if you go that far you're going to have to marry her, so we're not talking about rapist like Islam chapter 4 verse 24 chapter 24 verse 33 these verses condone rape in the Quran.... And there's more.. women are 2nd classes in the Koran, several verses I'll give it to you if you want them. The caveat for a slave dying under the beating of a master was very very rare. Oh by the way God is very serious about dealing with the peacenicks in judges 20 and 21, they were killed for not going to battle in a holy war against evil. Look it up. God is angry with the wicked every day Psalm 7 11. The Quran condones marrying a child chapter 65 verse 4, you can beat your wife harshly chapter 4 verse 34, you can rape your wife 2 verse 223. Allah is the greatest of all deceivers chapter 8 verse 60 chapter 3 verse 54. I guess you really didn't know who you were talking to I studied religion you haven't studied at all I can tell by this these three threads that you're just looking for loopholes so you can live your party lifestyle, and at the same time you'll accept Muslims as peaceful. What a joker!! The devil's played a trick on the whole world in the last days if they don't look at these books you are without excuse, Gods without excuse already because like I said before the Bible's perfect. The rapist that are in your country raping all the English women, have the two verses that I just mentioned to justify it. What does al Qaeda Isis and Hezbollah have in common? ......The Quran

    • @jjphank
      @jjphank 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Jim Merrilees the Arabs can trace part of their family back to Abraham, but the religion itself does not. Islam is from the nabataean Moon God. So it's not the same God at all. Crusaders can say they do things in the Name of Christ as if Christ sent them to do what they did. Anyone can do that. Cult leaders come and go all the time yet when they twist the Bible wrong ENough, violating the primary doctrines, they are considered a cult by mainstream Christianity. In the Dark Ages, Martin Luther was right when he started and then he got pretty violent at the end of his life. Well it was a very violent time to live. Roman Catholics burning people at the stake so other Protestant groups started burning each other at the stake. God can take into account, a time when someone lives and judge rightly. You are right the Bible this pretty harsh in the Old Testament, but the love of God is shown when he sent his son which balances out all the harshness by God himself making the only way to Salvation. Now when I say harshness I don't mean that it's wrong in what it says,. So I still agree with my original beliefs. But one thing is is that the Western world does not have to eak out a living like they used to back in the Dark Ages, Industrial Revolution & Bible ages. we don't go through the blood sweat and tears of just trying to put food on the table or just survive like they did. So it's easy to be all pompous and sit on the throne judging times in history as if it wasn't as harsh as it really was. That's kind of what you're doing with the Old Testament. Pain is pain is pain. And the only pain westerners feel sometimes is self inflicted, unrealistic from the 'worlds' of the past. We don't appreciate what God has given us. the food and the air that we breathe we take a lot of things for granted for that reason. So you have to believe there's a God because evolution is stupid. One more thing, the British museum itself has enough artifacts the prove the Bible's true. And that's not the only Museum but there's plenty to corroborate the Old Testament writings to be true. you haven't looked since you were 12 years old at any of this you just rejected it straight across the board. Complexities of DNA and molecular biology destroy Darwinism. Darwinism is going to die if other cult leaders would not still propagated it of course. In my mind or heart (or how I interpret why Elohim created of the trees of good and evil) is because as the minister I listen too put it "this is an interview," we are interviewing to live among Jesus, to live and walk with God. Elohim gives us the free will of our flesh, He knows our struggle and in my opinion does not want to force you to love Him. It is a personal relationship and a personal choice. He wants your willing praise not reluctant submission. That is why He allows evil imo, He wants to weed out His harvest. I don't know everything in the bible I can't lie about that. I do know I have always felt His presence & I constantly talk to Him even if I think He isn't listening, & He has proved to always be there.

wow. You ppl are really buying into this sophistry? Think about it.
      1. Infralapsarianism - In this view, God's foreknowledge of the fall is consistent with His decree to permit it, as it serves as part of His plan for the manifestation of His attributes, such as justice and mercy. So God intentionally wanted people to sin and go to hell and he intentionally killed many people to get what he wanted.
      2. Supra-Lapsarianism - Supra-Lapsarianism is often associated with a more rigorous view of predestination, with God's decree to reprobate some individuals preceding His decree for the fall.
      3. Sub-Lapsarianism - Sub-Lapsarianism emphasizes that God's decree to allow the fall is a response to human sin rather than a cause of it. God wanted humans to sin. Adam and Eve had no idea that eating the fruit was a bad thing because they had no knowledge of good and evil prior to that.
He pushes back the question. The existence of Satan was irrelevant to the question. Lucifer had fallen into sin. God didnt allow evil, he created evil (calamity). it was a calamity for Satan to disobey but God already knew that would happen. He created Lucifer with this intention in mind. he then draws Satan as being outside of God but the Bible teaches God is everywhere, there is nothing that exists outside of him.

Love how the audience laughed, but this question and the nature of Lucifer in his involvement, is a large underpinning of the gnostic interpretation of Christianity. Some of you may or may not know that while most would seem it heretical, this was one of the earliest sects of Christianity.
Also, strangely coincidental, in the gnostic mythos there was a being of Wisdom known as sophia. And her name is sophie which is derivative of the being I spoke of. The concept is very in depth and if your curious I suggest you to do your own research. I believe you can find most texts in the public domain, but interpretations and numerous books have also been written so it may be a good idea to look at a few of those, rather than just dismissing the notion.
It's rather challenging to ponder at first, somewhat turning Christianity on it's head, but once you understand it, The narrative found in the bible is much more clear.

God says he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, look at Jesus he cries for for people that don't want to come to him. Bad things happen to teach us a lesson for failing to love him

I have a better one that most wouldn't even realize they should ask....If the fruit from the "Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil" imbues upon the person knowledge of Good and Evil...then why were they told not to eat of it if they had no knowledge of good and evil? If you don't know good and evil...you don't know Right from wrong.

The fall was foreordained, it wasn’t a test of obedience, in order to ‘obey’ one must understand the difference between good and evil. Obviously it is good to obey righteous instructions, but, without the knowledge of good and evil it is impossible to understand this concept.
Many people believe that humans became subject to a ‘bondage of the will’ in the fall of man, on the contrary, man GAINED FREE WILL in the ‘fall’!!!!
It is impossible to be a morally responsible agent without being able to grasp the difference between good and evil!
No Christian would dispute that Christians are supposed to be conformed to the image of Christ, nobody would dispute that part of being conformed to Christ’s image would include being able to discern the difference between good and evil! Therefore, the ‘fall’ was a necessary piece of the puzzle of being conformed to Christ’s image!
I see it as an inoculation process! The introduction of a small dose of disease, thus preventing later infection!
If Adam and Eve did not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they could not have grasped the concept of good and evil!

well, "evil was found in satan" because God let go (and let God?) gets us back to the logical conundrum that evil derived from a "pure" Creator, so the Gnostics were right.. the Creator is evil. also, the concept that this passage serves up 'free will' is doubtful because clearly God is punishing those who would seek information (knowledge) to make informed decisions of their volition. And if we reject Him or the idea of Him we will suffer for ETERNITY in a lake of fire that He created. We are as free as slaves are to a jealous, self righteous, narcissistic, and abusive master. Jesus tells us to act like good obedient slaves. excuse me but slaves don’t have freedom to create their own conditions. They’re considered property that requires punishment when acting on their own accord.

Adam and eve had the same as we do to day. God has always wanted man to live by faith and not by the letter of the law. In Genesis we see where the serpent told Eve that she surely wouldn't die that God know that the day she ate of the fruit of the tree her eyes would be open and she would be as gods knowing good and evil.
And we also see where God said: "Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil"
The tree she ate the fruit from was called "The knowledge of good and evil"
This is God's law or the laws of the Gods. God never intended for man to live under the bondage of that law. That is why Jesus had to come down and finish the law and set it back to the way God has always wanted it to be and that is us living by faith and not by the letter of the law, but Satan tricked them into partaking of that law and the curse of the law is you was cursed if you partook of that way and didn't finish it.
Jesus was the only one to finish that law. The wages of sin is death so when Jesus finished the law he didn't have to die for his own sins cause he didn't sin so he gave that perfect spotless life as a ransom to save us from sin. or the law because that is what sin is breaking of the law.
We must live by faith and not the letter of the law if we are going to be saved from sin "breaking of the law"
It is the ones who learn to live by faith that will be saved. The other's will die in their sin

I use to think what kind of God would create something so terrible so Man could partake of it and it lead to death. After this was delivered to me I look at God in a totally different light. See Satan didn't lie cause what he said was the truth, but he failed to say why God didn't want them to partake of that tree. It was never meant for flesh man to partake of that law cause the flesh is weak but the spirit is strong.

He knew it was going to happen but still it grieved him and made him regret that he had made man on the earth. Just because God knows something will happen he gives us free will to choose between good and evil and partaking of a law that leads to death instead of life.

I was wondering why God didn’t just bless people with the knowledge of good and evil to start with. That would have been rather easily accomplished and Adam and Eve would not have had to make the choice of having knowledge. I mean it was the tree of knowledge right? Is that why we as a whole are constantly now seeking knowledge through scientific processes? Is that a throw down to us that we got from Adam and Eve from their decision to eat the fruit?
And why prey tell, would God not want to have humans with out knowledge in the first place. Suppose Adam and Eve had never eaten the fruit of the tree? Would we all be , well less knowledgeable than we are now as humans? Would we be dunces or idiots, or was it just the difference between good and evil that he did not want us to know about? I don’t understand the reasoning… Can you help?

@@mrx1278 It was God's law or the law of the God's. It lead to death not life. Even if they had not eaten of the tree they would have still died because flesh dies. You ask why God didn't share it with them. Why did he not want them to partake of it? It's because it leads to death not only a death of life but also a spiritual death. But if they wouldn't have ate it they would still had died but through faith they would live again. But also we read where God said; The man has become like one of us knowing Good and evil. Then he says; Lest he put his hand forth and also take of the tree of life and eat and live forever. One road leads to eternity and the other leads towards death. You ask why didn't he just share it? Because it leads to death. He told them in the day that you eat you will surely die. He wanted them to live with the hope of living again not this death that there is no hope through that knowledge. He wanted them to live with the knowledge of faith the kind of faith that leads to life. That faith that says I will live again. Even through the sacrifices of animals for forgiveness was through faith and also the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf we have to except with faith.

Good question! We need not start with the tree...why not question all of creation? Why create it at all if He knows it will fall into sin and corruption and death? Same answer: All things work towards God's perfect good. Another way to understand it, maybe even more difficult, or maybe much easier: Faith. Have faith in God. What is better on a human perspective? To live a life with no possibility to fall or a life with a possibility of falling, then to choose salvation? What is better from God's perspective (as if anyone could know) to create a family forced to love God or to create a family that chooses to love God? Shalom! Test all things! Pray and fast in love, truth, spirit and trembling fear before God on matters of salvation.

Please google and read through the book of Urantia for the above words ...THE PLANETARY ADAMS DURING the dispensation of a Planetary Prince, primitive man reaches the limit of natural evolutionary development, and this biologic attainment signals the System Sovereign to dispatch to such a world the second order of sonship, the biologic uplifters. These Sons, for there are two of them-the Material Son and Daughter-are usually known on a planet as Adam and Eve. The original Material Son of Satania is Adam, and those who go to the system worlds as biologic uplifters always carry the name of this first and original Son of their unique order. These Sons are the material gift of the Creator Son to the inhabited worlds. Together with the Planetary Prince, they remain on their planet of assignment throughout the evolutionary course of such a sphere. Such an adventure on a world having a Planetary Prince is not much of a hazard, but on an apostate planet, a realm without a spiritual ruler and deprived of interplanetary communication, such a mission is fraught with grave danger. Although you cannot hope to know all about the work of these Sons on all the worlds of Satania and other systems, other papers depict more fully the life and experiences of the interesting pair, Adam and Eve, who came from the corps of the biologic uplifters of Jerusem to upstep the Urantia races. While there was a miscarriage of the ideal plans for improving your native races, still, Adam’s mission was not in vain; Urantia has profited immeasurably from the gift of Adam and Eve, and among their fellows and in the councils on high their work is not reckoned as a total loss. 1. ORIGIN AND NATURE OF THE MATERIAL SONS OF GOD The material or sex Sons and Daughters are the offspring of the Creator Son; the Universe Mother Spirit does not participate in the production of these beings who are destined to function as physical uplifters on the evolutionary worlds. The material order of sonship is not uniform throughout the local universe. The Creator Son produces only one pair of these beings in each local system; these original pairs are diverse in nature, being attuned to the life pattern of their respective systems. This is a necessary provision since otherwise the reproductive potential of the Adams would be nonfunctional with that of the evolving mortal beings of the worlds of any one particular system. The Adam and Eve who came to Urantia were descended from the original Satania pair of Material Sons. Material Sons vary in height from eight to ten feet, and their bodies glow with the brilliance of radiant light of a violet hue. While material blood circulates through their material bodies, they are also surcharged with divine energy and saturated with celestial light. These Material Sons (the Adams) and Material Daughters (the Eves) are equal to each other, differing only in reproductive nature and in certain chemical endowments. They are equal but differential, male and female-hence complemental-and are designed to serve on almost all assignments in pairs. The Material Sons enjoy a dual nutrition; they are really dual in nature and constitution, partaking of materialized energy much as do the physical beings of the realm, while their immortal existence is fully maintained by the direct and automatic intake of certain sustaining cosmic energies. Should they fail on some mission of assignment or even consciously and deliberately rebel, this order of Sons becomes isolated, cut off from connection with the universe source of light and life. Thereupon they become practically material beings, destined to take the course of material life on the world of their assignment and compelled to look to the universe magistrates for adjudication. Material death will eventually terminate the planetary career of such an unfortunate and unwise Material Son or Daughter. An original or directly created Adam and Eve are immortal by inherent endowment just as are all other orders of local universe sonship, but a diminution of immortality potential characterizes their sons and daughters. This original couple cannot transmit unconditioned immortality to their procreated sons and daughters. Their progeny are dependent for continuing life on unbroken intellectual synchrony with the mind-gravity circuit of the Spirit. Since the inception of the system of Satania, thirteen Planetary Adams have been lost in rebellion and default and 681,204 in the subordinate positions of trust. Most of these defections occurred at the time of the Lucifer rebellion.

Genesis was written in an era when every culture had a polytheistic pantheon of squabbling deities with all-too-human weaknesses (e.g., God being unaware of what Adam was doing and having to ask). Concepts like monotheism and omniscience were added to Judaism later, and Christianity added even more complications. it's all human invention, and you'll tie yourself into a logical pretzel trying to make it all make sense together.

It always touches my heart in a weird way when I hear adults laughing at a child's question. Especially a child questioning the bible or their faith. That laughter is embarrassing to a child... It affects them in subtle ways that build up over time. In my spirit based life coaching program I find that almost every struggling adult that reaches out turned from God at a very young age because of the behaviors of the adults in their church making them feel mocked, unworthy, and that they never really felt comfortable asking questions so they came to a lot of childhood assumptions about the bible before having enough literary understanding to pick up on the nuances .... I'm just sharing because maybe there's some adults who laugh at things they think are cute, and if that's your knee jerk reaction please be sure to then encourage the child. Tell them they asked a great question, that maybe once you had that question too, if you dont know the answer be honest ask what they are thinking create a productive energy and make them feel heard and validated. A child's mind is precious and as adults we forget common sense is only common if youve all been taught the same thing . until you're taught... You question.

I don't think she was questioning her faith. Your making and assumption and treating as fact. If she felt mocked or unworthy, another assumption, those feeling are absolutely wrong but scripture says that those things are in the heart of a child. Unwarranted shame and naivity are things that are childlike and should be treated without judgment or ridicule and is perfectly innocent. These things are common sense. Kids say the funniest thing mostly because of their purity and instinctively know how to get right to the point. The nervously funny part is that an adult would struggle to frame this question and a child so easily and naturally gets it.
      Christianity is false.

The way I see why God created evil is to give us trials and struggles to overcome and experience so we will eventually evolve from this reality. Evil had to be created or our spirit selves would never learn major lessons. Plus freewill, why would God want people who know him and still turn their backs? Doesn't it make more sense that he wants companions who earned their place among him and not followers who blindly don't know of hardship, the biggest tool for inner growth.

God knew that Adam living forever in the Garden of Eden was not His plan. Adam knew no shame in the Garden. No shame means no honor. No death means no birth. No sorrow means no happiness. God commanded Adam to not partake of the tree of knowledge of good and evil because if He did not, Adam would have partaken and then placed the blame on God for the Fall. God commanded Adam not to partake to warn Adam what would happen. Adam and Eve after untold amount of time in the Garden reached a verdict. They decided in order to have joy, in order to multiply and replenish, in order to gain knowledge, they had to partake. Praise be to God. And God bless Adam and Eve forever. Because of the Adam's Fall, I live. Because of Adam's Fall Christ shall cause that I will live once more in God's presence in Heaven. Joy will triumph sorrow, happiness will triumph pain, resurrection will triumph death, righteousness will triumph sin. Glory be to God forever.

God allows evil and good. He created evil just like he created good. He wants to know us through the choices that we make, so he has given us a wide spectrum to choose from. From extreme good to extreme evil. Individually, we reveal to God what we are on the inside. As the Bible states we are all made in the image of God. To be extremely good, we need to build a relationship with God and allow him to guide us to himself, which is the epitome of virtue. It is important to move toward God, as this is the purpose of our life, and only that and nothing more.
We are here for approximately 80 years, however for eternity we must show where we belong. We show that with our very being. Our thoughts, our words, our intentions, our actions, all these are the choices we have. These choices reveal our truth, which is recorded. We will be judged according to our truth on judgement day. That is why its important to get saved and have our true evil washed in the blood of Christ and then follow him.

Evil is a concious act to purposefully do harm or an injustice to somthing knowing it is not necessary and wrong. It's to simplistic and wrong to say the father created evil. And God looked at everything that he had made and it was good.

@@Keynotes13Its a misconception that the father knows what you will do before you do it. Abraham and Isaac are a testament to hes not knowing all things.

I listened to your video. I have a couple of questions that come to mind. Didn’t God plant both the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Then God said behold it is Good. That is to say his creation, both trees and all he had created.
Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
EVERY tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye. God Blessed it
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not and is not an evil thing. It is the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. For example I have been married for 45 years and have never partaken in an extra marital affair. Why because I have the knowledge of good and evil concerning my actions based on my knowledge of affairs. In other words, knowing right and wrong is not evil. It is acting on that knowledge. Do I obey God’s word or disobey his word.
Adam and Eve disobey God’s word by acting on their knowledge. Obey God’s word or the Serpent’s word.
God knows Good and Evil. Adam had full knowledge of Good and evil. He only had one commandment to obey and God gave him knowledge of both good and evil. You eat, you die, you obey, you do not die. Adam had all the knowledge he needed to live in the garden peacefully. Just as we have God’s unchangeable word today, the Bible. Which tells us to choose life.
True knowledge is found in God’s word. God’s Word is true knowledge.
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

Something about setting up a plan of future redemption, whilst also ensuring humans acquired free will along the way, I seem to gather. That was so love could be 'freely returned'.

Isaac Muniz short answer. it was for the fallen angels who wanted to repent a tree for them that was evil to good. that is why God made Earth in the void, where he cast the rebellious angels. You should know your God. A God of forgiveness and mercy.

Da Phetdala ... That's an interesting statement ... but remember, he's the source of everything ... he's even the source of you. Are you including yourself in that set of all that is misery and evil? Because whatever set you see yourself as being part of ... he's the source of that too.

There is no answer because the question is flawed. Would you ask your anaphylactic son if he would like a peanut? You know what the result would be, so you don't. Unlike god of the old testament, he knows Adam will eat from the tree, but he creates it anyway. He knows Abraham won't kill his son, but he tests him anyway. Just more illogical ridiculousness that is becoming less convincing to more people by the day...

Isaiah 45:7 says God created evil.(King James Version), Its clearly written. Though God is not evil. If evil did not exist you could not have the ability to choose, as their would only be one choice, ..good.
If God was going to give us a free will, he had to give us something to choose between,Something opposite of good. "Evil vs. good"
If Evil did not exist and their was only good, we would be like robots not knowing or even giving value to anything as their would be nothing to even draw comparisons too.

@Shaun mcinnis Hey Shaun, would not having a choice be that bad? If there was no evil, therefore no choice, I could live with that. What if there was only good in the world? You make it sound kinda like that would be a bad thing. What about choosing between good, better and best? That would give everyone a choice wouldn’t it?

Bad translation from 400 years ago. That verse says clearly from the Hebrew that Jehovah God is the creator of light and darkness! (NOT good and evil, as you want to portray. Do some research first, please!).
God gave us free will so as not to be robots. Free will does NOT imply the creation of evil. The angels also have free will, as do all living beings. Satan, an angel when created, is the Father of the Lie, and the first creature to rebel. John 8:44

It has to do with free will and morality. If he didn’t give us a choice to love him it would be forced love.
If you force someone to love you it’s not true love.
If we didn’t have morals we would not know the difference between what is good and bad. God gave is morals to know the difference and free will to choose.
