I know the drug missions have been there since the beginning but I've always hated them. Those types of missions are rarely fun in games. Just bizarre for the sake of being weird.
TechnoGolem i agree. They make up half the main missions in far cry 3, but you don't actually get to do anything. It's essentially a graphics gallery so the devs can play around with effects

One thing I'm really hoping to see (and a thing I think FPS games should just do as standard anyway) is that if an enemy hides behind flimsy cover (like the wooden boards shown @3:35) you should be able to just rip right through that thing with bullets and tear them up. How hard can that be to implement, devs??!
Peanut Turner games made for casuals but I agree with you, it should be there, you want realistic bullet ballistics play Arma but good luck finding a pc good enough to run it
Battlefield 1 did great at letting anything be destroyed.... I couldn’t stay behind a cover for to long or I would get killed.... so it’s not difficult for game developers to implement its just laziness

Flipping love this game! It's like the best elements of Ghost Recon meets the best elements of classic Far Cry...with plenty of new, fresh and exciting things added. Ubisoft has been killing it with their last few titles. Origins removed the monotony and mundane repetiveness of the Assassin's Creed Franchise and this game has done the same for the Far Cry franchise. If you liked the new life that was breathed into the former...you'll like the new life and freshness of the latter. Now, I must get back to blowing stuff up and causing chaos.
Not blown away by that gameplay, enemy AI looks awful. Killing animations look too arcade and bland. Ubisoft seem to want to cram in absolutely everything but settle for mediocre. Fishing, Colourful customisation, fast travel early on (which tells me it'll get boring real quick.) Par graphics, companions that get in the way, rather than actually help. Parachute from fast travel, it'll be fun the first few times. I remember when this was first announced and saying none of Ubisofts games look anything like actual release, take wildlands for example.

I stopped playing Far Cry when they got rid of the mutation and never touched on it again. Im still pretty pissed about that, especially the run up to that fucking volcano. However, after watching this, I might just give it a go.

Comic book gamer Actually the loading screens are all in-game, usually according to the region you are in/traveling to at the time. Since they are all in the game, it just looks slightly different because it’s an image and images in games usually have higher quality.
Dont wanna sound too negative but it just looks like the previous game which itself was just a carbon copy of its predecessor hope this at least has slow mo kill cams like skyrim did way back in 2011.
I didn't care for the Clutch Nixon or fishing segments much. I like the main story line and prefer immersion rather than diversion . If I am on a mission to fight a cult and save my buddy's lives, I don't think I would take a break to enter a fishing contest or run a road race. But that is a continuing thread in the Far Cry Games.
I'm glad you don't have to climb lots of radio towers in the main game. A shame they fucked this up in the mars expansion though since all you do is climb towers.
Also, you can spend your hard earned money on micro transactions designed to help you progress through the game faster. In layman’s terms: a fair percentage of the game is designed to be a lesser value content that you can pay to skip. Have fun.

Huh??? The first region is John the white tail mountians is the easiest region not the first if it were the first you would have seen an add for jaccobs region instead of john's and Dutch would recomend heading over to some where in jacobs rejoin instead of falls end

I liked radio towers and revealing the map and then clearing the red zones by "liberating" outposts.
pxlbltz outposts are fun because the diffrent ways to approach them but the towers makes My stomach turn
