Good reminder to just enjoy being out riding! And man, you are getting a lot of use out of that new camera, though that fold out screen makes me so nervous. Use the viewfinder so I can stop worrying about the screen breaking off. Lol
OK, deal... I'll start using it in 2 or 3 videos, maybe? I find myself using the viewfinder a LOT now, I love it! I use the flippy screen when I'm getting a low-angle shot. Also, yes, I am LOVING the new camera - I have taken over 3,600 photos and videos already :D
We are as I was told in the Infantry a people in our own world where we are floating around between worlds. Making each other’s lives better by being there. 😊
I used to put a lot of pressure on myself to film all my rides, especially when they were bigger ones with friends. Over the years, I haven't reached the point where filming isn’t intrusive or frustrating (overthinking, much?). Now (this year), I think I've struck a good balance. I'm not going to get good or have filming become second nature unless I practice, try, and fail. Also, not everything needs to be filmed! So... I'm at the point where I know where to put the cameras to capture a ride. I can do it relatively unobtrusively when I'm with others. I also give myself the freedom to ride for myself and nobody else... leave the cameras at home! I think it's a good place.
That's awesome to hear! I try to have my cameras on me for all rides, just in case... but I don't always record. Sometimes I'll get as far as starting a vlog... and then saying, "Nope, don't feel like it!" Other times, I'll just ride and an idea will hit me, and I'm ready :D
Great photography near the end. 🙂📸👍 Yeah I’m not much on riding in crowded areas too. I force myself to do it though, because sometimes you may end up in those situations. Any of my vlogging in crowded areas though because less focused. I can only focus on so many things at a time. I save the motovlogging for those much less crowded areas 🙂🏍️👍
Thanks! LOL, if I waited until I was in unpopulated areas, my vlogs would be like 60 seconds long :D But I totally get why you avoid vlogging in crowded areas - I don't vlog on the highway, for the same reasons. Thanks for watching, and ride safe!
Awesome video maybe that's why I don't get many views on my vids because I mainly ride and talk bike comes first when riding. Love the pics at the end. Thanks brother
I don't know about that - my "just riding" videos where I'm yammering away at the camera... those seem to do better than when I stop and take pics - but I'm glad YOU liked them! :D
Granted, the pat on the back was yes well deserved. Your content has moved me to go further and ask...To Script or Not To Script? Is what we are saying to our viewers worth making content about , there good sir the Guantlet has come off and a Dewl I Propose or not
LOL, thanks! I tried scripting out videos... it never works. At most I'll do a bullet list to keep me on track... but doing that on a bike? Nah, 100% unscripted... and yeah, it's worth watching - otherwise I wouldn't publish :D I see your gauntlet and raise you one electromagnet. ZAP!
Hahah. I enjoy the recording process. Editing is fun. But I often find myself getting into the riding mindset and forget to turn anything on. Silly I know. We should do some photo walks.
Thank you, but I can't pat my back right now, there's a pillow blocking it 😄/ if you don't think that creek is breath taking, try being submerged in it, for a few minutes.
i think this is where people get in trouble, they focus so much on content and don't just go out and enjoy themselves.
You got THAT right! :D It has to be fun, otherwise why do it?
Crikey mate John back on the Tube
G'day, mate! Yeah, I haven't missed a week - yet! :D

@@RoadReality I love that!
@@cwTheDrummist Thanks! You're 100% right - practice practice practice - just don't force it :D
Vamm was the last time I was on a bike. Think I’ve forgotten how to ride. 😞👍
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that :(
NORTH, will dedicate a ride so you can ride with me for a bit as I cross Australia
It's like bicycling, you'll never forget it, you just lose the skill of it
We have a lot more traffic in the open roads now, so many roads are still closed. I do not like riding in traffic, and I do not like traffic lights!!
Oh man, I'd say I feel for you, but then again, roads are open... so you can travel further. Two sides of the same coin!
@ we need more to open. Get the vehicles back on the highways!!
@@Motoramblings Yes, +10 for THAT! I need about 90% of the people in my area to work from home or something, LOL.
@@RoadReality 😂😂
this is part of why I keep more of a basic camera set up with me. But overall it's what works for you!
Yep - you nailed it!
Nice pics, John!
Thanks! Plenty more where that came from - I've been carrying various cameras with me on almost all my rides!

You may find yourself, "in a Road Reality video !!! 🤩🤩🤩
HAHAHA, you totally have made more than a few cameos now, my friend!

Always enjoy your content, just riding . And showing off your tastes in the stogeys 🤪
🤙Thank you, I appreciate that! More videos like this are coming... they just take forever to edit, LOL.

LOL, I need to "just ride" more!
And the photo walk idea is a GREAT ONE!
I don't like heavily crowded areas either...that's why we live in the middle of nowhere lol
I would LOVE to live out in the country... but our jobs don't support that :(

John don't think on this too much. riding, video and stills photography only enhance the outing.
