I need these guitar lessons so badly. I am a drummer just getting my guitar on. This guy is outstanding. I am a heavy metal guy, and I can't get enough of this guy.
Ha I’m a Guitarist/Bass player that started playing drums during Covid. Kenny is awesome, be sure to check him out in Marty Stewart’s band too, and hell everybody in that band is just crazy good. It seriously pisses me off that country radio won’t play this or any of the killer country music I’ve been hearing lately. These guys, Colter Walls, Tyler Childers, Whiskey Meyers, hell BlackBerry smoke. There’s so many that have good rock songs and good country songs..
yeah, long independent fingers, my hands are independent too! ( from my will...) : )...., well Ive written songs n stuff on classical gtrs, and played some rock in the youthful period, so I guess I just play what I can and like..., oh and I recall walking into a finnish bar in the summertime with the cheapest soprano ukulele( which I had no idea how to tune , but put a song in the jukebox, n ordered a beer, sat down and tried to look cool(probably cooler than now) and with some confidence since I already had played guitars quite a lot..., I THINK playin should be fun thou its often a fruit of many years labour ( of love, at least for me), some audiences get it, the others just listen with wonder which is so rewarding as well, I remember playin n singin my own SeaGullSamba to a female on my bed, ithout practising beforehand, and after my song ended her comment was: that was not your song (I had the A4 paper lyrics right at hand...) :) not what Id expected, kinda appraisal I guess,well...., Cheers Debra ( I have song called Deborah...), from Kimmo : )
Absolutely killer solo. I’m 60, an advanced player of various styles and genre’s, and this is just raw fuzzynutts badass. It’s its own Godzilla. Supurb!! Kudos and applause my friend!
Hi Kenny - we used to know each other from all the opening acts I played with the headliners you were playing with around NYC in the 80s/90s. Beautiful playing here - I'm stealing your licks today. Thanks!
The song was written by Willie Dixon for Little Walter. In the original version when it comes to the solo section they jump it into a swinging shuffle, with Willie Dixon on Bass and the Jazz Drummer Fred Below. Kudos to Mr. Vaughan here for crediting Little Walter, it was Little Walter's highest charting song.
❤❤❤❤ Kenny channelin’ little Walter
Love hearing those Little Walker tunes, real nice Kenny!
