I loved the unedited videos like this, the cutting and corners were top notch. The finish is definitely unique especially on carbon fiber, doing a whole car would not look bad I bet.
As I’ve watched hours of your videos and a long time follower, this channel has really grown, I’ll be wrapping a toolbox giving you shout outs, your videos are great tools to DIY or try to learn this, I’ve wrapped a couple of boxes already, I tell people I’m not a wrapper it just turns out nice by accident 😀.. I love how thos guy gives easy simple instructions and keeps repeating them as if he is actually teaching us in real life! After watching him way too much I'm confident in doing my first wrap this summer. I'm going to start with. My hood and if it goes good I'll do the rest of the car. It's a 02 jetta so thankfully there's not alot of body lines at all
Damn, I love this film. I have always gravitated to honeycomb patterns. I would never use any bright, multicolored, chameleon wraps but I definitely wouldn't mind have a roof wrapped with this stuff. It's subtle enough, but still has some flair. I love the way the light reflects off of it.
Christian I owe you a huge thanks....I wrapped the hood of my 2015 Kia Cadenza Premium with the V2 Hex Carbon Fiber...it went on just like you showed (except my hood had more convex and concave surfaces). It was my first attempt at wrapping anything! Thanks again brother!

What is the most realistic gloss CF wrap in your opinion?

I realized what the light refraction/reflection reminds me of..a a dragonfly eyes. If this carbon wrap came in a color shift, that is exactly what it would look like, dragonfly eyes. I'd love to see that on a complete wrapped car.
It's called Honeycomb Carbon fiber.
Most patterns that repeat like this look really bad when done on a whole car, especially if it isn't wrapped perfectly with the patterns being exactly horizontal....even just a tiny angle makes it look really poorly done.
I just did a honeycomb tint on my windscreen on my R6. Now I wanna use this instead!

Actually tried a reflective (holographic) carbon fiber wrap a few months ago. The finished look was awesome but due to the low quality of the wrap itself there were too many flaws. I was trying out several styles and types of wraps at the time and was buying the least expensive ones for the most part. Anyways, I settled on a traditional carbon fiber style to wrap my hood and am very impressed so far. I'm also pretty sure that when the next time to wrap my hood comes up I'l be buying a reflective carbon fiber and it will be of good quality that time. Great vids BTW, I've learned alot from you.
Just ordered this wrap after an abysmal and humbling attempt at repainting my hood. You're super chill and I'll be sure to use all your tips when the time comes to wrap! Killer video!
I just wrapped my first panel last night and done a decent job, today I wasted tons of wrap trying to do a similar panel, it's been frustrating

What I would do, with a product I’m not used to or scared it’ll rip. I’d get a sample size along with the size that I need …. And I’d practice with the sample sheet to see how it handles and how it works and to see how fragile it is

I think this reflective hexagonal matrix would look cool on an electric car. more reflective matrix , less fake carbon fiber.

That would look cool on a whole car. And have you ever wrapped a hood on a 2013 to 19 ford fusion. Looks complicated cause it's like 3 elevations.

I've got a question for you. I just got a brand new muscle car. Its beautiful...and black but I've got a few months before I get my PA so I can afford to spend 10K on a vinyl wrap. So my question is...can I wax my car now to semi protect the paint before it gets wrapped? I know wax will prevent the vinyl from adhering to the paint properly...but I've got close to six months before I get my new 2022 vehicle wrapped.

hi just a quick question, when wrapping a full car in carbon fibre wrap does the pattern have to be going the same way on both sides of the car so it looks the same all the way round
