If they get rid of that interface and make a lower-cost version that's controlled by an app over bluetooth, I'm interested. idc if it's a bare pedal with only connectors and a couple lights.
Does it actually work reliably though? I had to return my poly verbs bacuase at least half the time it simply didnt work. Andertons told me they'd had lots returned for the same reason yet Loki told me my experience was unique 🤔. If its reliable then its a decnt thing, but once bitten twice shy for me I'm afraid.
It needs 13 more amps so schoolboys can snigger My nagging worry would be durability and repair. Any vaguely competent repair guy can have a go at fixing a worn out mechanical switch or knob. How many know how to fix a slidey led touchscreen computer thingy if/when it goes glitchy a few years down the line. I guess I worry you have fewer avenues.
Equipment like this is just nonsensical to me. I know many people get a lot out of them, but I can't see how they're better than a proper amp with a couple of decent pedals. For gigging, I want something simple, easy to set up, and with one good sound (not 56 sounds; none of which really sound as good as an amp, and only some of which _might_ be ok). At a live gig, you can't go messing with menus when all you want to do is adjust the volume, tone, or reverb. And what happens if the computer at the heart of your device crashes? I say KISS.
Sounds really great. I was just wondering. You say you're monitoring through the cab, but what's the signal path - via a power amp? Or is it one of their FRFR ones? So much good stuff around at the moment
As always with this company, I have the feeling they wanna make things simple but, for some reason, it´s super annoying for users like me. Horrible user interface
Touch Sliders - Yes or No?
Get Ample here - www.polyeffects.com/polyeffects/p/ample
I prefer knobs. You can get at them with a toe while still playing. Unless you're barefoot, sliders would be a problem.
These companies don’t respect the beauty of knobs.
So no for me. I like things simple.
No. I want knobs.
Excited for this one
The Marshall JTM45 sounded fantastic even through my Makie CR5-X monitors. ✌
It freaking chugs !
Classic UK icon :)

Sliders YES!
Oooh bareface mmmm talk about room filling cabs mmmmmm 🤤

What ever happened to Zoom Pedals? I still use and abuse a 701 with wah wah pedal must be ancient to you Andy
Butter 🧈 butter 🧈 butter
It looks a bit Orange without being an Orange 😅.
It does!
Andy’s tasty licks!
I think it's suffering from a case of overnumerousness!
Doesn't sound like a twin reverb. . . .
I like simple... like my aging brain.
Great sounds. Worst interface ever. Imagine having this on stage. Terrifying.

I hear you. For people that need this kind of thing, Ample is great. I can totally understand why you wouldn't choose it though.
Sounds really great.

@@iammoog it’s an active version of our Barefaced Reality 112FR, so it has our Activier 1 amp module built in - and Andy’s chosen custom cosmetics!
Ahhh. Thought it might be. You folks have been on my mind ever since we chatted at the first Brighton guitar show.

I do have an issue with them not labelling the secondary functions but apart from that, I am fine with it.
@@josearjona3728 honestly I had the poly verbs and the UI was great. The problem with that pedal was that 70% of the time it simply didn't work
useless no xlr
