Xbox of course ! backwards compatibility, day one games on gamepass, exclusives games, cross save, cross progression, play anywhere, quick resume, ....
Even I own an PS5 , with an big TV, I prefer Xbox because I love to swap to older games still most of the time, and that extra gamepass is just amazing with good games coming out on it, it is basicly endless gaming on an xbox console, and my PS5 in the meantime is collecting dust, but meight buy astro game if it is on sale, I was hoping for big releases with the PS5, an New Silent hill game, Uncharted 5, The last of us 3.
Him thinking we wouldn't know he's flexing his car to us😂😂
It's to give that extra 'oumph' to his statements ..isn't it?
It's for the crispy sound😂😂😂😂
Ikr? We was laughing out loud when he was talking about what a great deal Gamepass is. So shallow, lucky to not be him or at the very least, like him🤣
is that a Honda?
How is it flexing?
Remember in 2020 everyone looking for 4k 120fps TV’s and 4 years later you can be happy if they hit 60 fps in 1080p😂
Answer is yes & Use Gamepass!
For me personally the only reason I own an Xbox series x is because I found one for half price if it wasn’t for that would have never bought one due to Microsoft not valuing the importance of physical media but since I found one for half price and even though I despise gamepass on how it destroys the market for physical games because I got it I do enjoy buying physically as it makes finding a series x game in the wild very rare which leads me to treat it as if whenever I buy a new Xbox game rather it be new or used always exciting because of how I know I’m one of the few 8% of Xbox consumers still buying physical which leads to almost every series x games value to be almost double the price of the ps5 version if your intrested search up the price of resident evil 3 remake on ps4 and then the Xbox one version you will find the ps4 version is ruffely worth $30 meanwhile the Xbox version is worth around $60 cad because no one wants to buy physical for the Xbox anyways sorry I went on a huge tangon I just really wanted to express how I don’t like gamepass because of how for a solid 50% of Xbox games it’s up in the air if the hole game is on the disc it’s self or if it’s a game like halo infinite where you have to update to play it or else it’s a paper weight. Still perfer that then no physical just because I can sell it for a dollar which is more than $0 I can get for selling a digital game. Anyways, have a good day.
True I'm fan of xbox too❤❤
Me personally I really don't care about the exclusives so for me xbox is no brainer.
I am with you on that bro
What if for example all you play is the latest fifa, tekken or street fighter and are not on gamepass but have to pay 240 a year for gamepass or 120 a year for the core? Shouldn't there be a cheaper online only option just to play online and not pay for games your not interested in? I'm not trying to hate I'm a PC guy just saying there should be an option for customers who want to pay for what they want.
@@schoolboymanny6564 no hate on that bro I actually agree with you.
yep the xbox series x is really nice with game pass ultimate, quick resume, and vrr support on non-hdmi2.1 monitors. although sometimes i do wish i could swing through NYC as spidey but oh well..
Dude, being 100 percent honest, I stick with Xbox for cod. Because there is a lack of backwards compatibility between ps3-4, waw, bo1/2, and the og mw trilogy (mw/mw2 campaign remastered don’t count) don’t exist on ps4-5. So those games, plus Star Wars kotor isn’t on PlayStation
@Stuffinn729 i don’t have a series s, but compared to my one x, the ps4 holds up pretty well for me personally. I don’t play Fortnite much but I have no issues on either console
@Stuffinn729 thats about right for me too, typically between 48-55
Get whatever you can afford, pair it with a portable monitor and you can literally game anywhere you want. You don't need a massive 4k tv or a fancy oled gaming monitor.
better to get series s if you are thinking about portability and not worried about getting max performance or graphics.
I still use my launch Xbox series s replaced the thermal paste with some good Thermal Grizzly Cryonaut and dusted it off internally ! wish it would've a disc drive tho even an external one would be perfect !
wait you need to replace the thermal paste? lol dont know why but i thought its only a PC thing
@@shayshalevv yup you need to replace the thermal paste on consoles aswell I replace it ever 1.5 years- 2years, did it on my one s too (whisper quiet now) that's why consoles get so loud because of internal dust and drying up of the paste! 🤪
The answer is “yes “ if you want Gamepass and like to play old games and/or indie games. It’s a “No” if you want to play awesome new exclusive games. Microsoft gave up/failed at that in the beginning of the Xbox one gen and have never been able to do so since. The only reason I have a series X is because I won it through Taco Bell. The only reason I’ve kept it is for the hopes of an elder scroll six but that looks like it’s not going to be anytime soon. Might be time to sell it.
You get there games on Gamepass day 1 vs pay $70 per game.
Xbox is just better for the wallet.
If you don’t have a PC then I would say it is worth it.
@@matthew6987 what’s the ratio of brand new $70 games that appear on Game Pass compared to the Indie and old games?
@@Axl_colts out of 41 28 games are part of my game pass subscription, out of the 28 games 12 are major games.
@@Axl_colts I would never thought I would’ve got back in to assassin’s creed. I gave assassin’s creed odyssey a try and I loved it so I bought the full game with all the DLC‘s. I got a special deal through Gamepass it was 90% off.
Xbox is just more convenient for me as a gamer. I prefer the ecosystem, controller, Game Pass is phenomenal value. They're doing a lot of things right. But they have multiple issues in regards to marketing, communication and messaging. They need to make it very easy to understand what Xbox is and how they intend to support it in the future.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but right after i got my series S, i sold my PC and bought a laptop instead. 😂 Now i have a series X and couldn't be more happy.
For me here are the reasons why it's still worth it to buy an xbox series console in 2024 and onwards.
1. Quick resume is criminally underrated.
2. Gamepass is still best thing that's ever happened to consoles.
3. Performance boost in older game titles.
4. As someone who plays a lot of racing games, Forza Motorsport and Horizon is what I always play.
5. You can find used Series X consoles for like 250-300USD now which is incredible when we talk about price to performance ratio.
6. Cloud saves also is really helpful like what Ben said. Game anywhere with your cloud saves.
7. You can find a lot of sales in digital games. I bought Tekken 7 way back when it was popular for only 6usd.
Stopping people from saying 1st 💀
You 1st
It’s totally pathetic
1st
I would’ve loved to double-console in this late gen and for the first time ever. Still first-worldy stuck with a PS4 (Pro) and a 720p hdtv! ☹️
It does require a hefty gaming budget, the 32” 4K screen and time too! 😩
Damn life priorities!
I skipped this gen of Xbox and will wait to see what next gen looks like. Currently playing on PC laptop.
The question you should have asked is should you be buying a console in 2024. I mean all the games are coming on pc
And a Steam Deck has better game availability than the Xbox ecosystem on the go imho.
All depends on what your personal needs are, couple of cheap Xbox one x's or series s's for a portable set up like a modded gaems case like I have or for guest rooms, arcade room, lending console for friends you wana play with but who cant afford a PC or consoles themselves. Just depends
Must people are casual players which prefer console
Must pc gamers are try hards
Not all 💀
I would say that its pretty good but if you can then wait a few months just to get the new and upgraded series S.
Yes u can also play loads of xbox 360 games on ur Series X/S, Plus the Series S is an small console u can bring everywhere to game.
Bought series s months ago and it's so good and got dev mode which ps5 don't have and im playing now games that i never thought i will have the option to play
I had a series x and got rid of it for a steam deck. But now I’m looking at getting a series s for games like warhammer, baldurs gate and diablo. Just games that wouldn’t really be enjoyable on the deck. I think the s for a causal experience with access to new releases and the series x for a collector of physical media. As for the ps5 I think the exclusives are good but I just don’t have any interest in them at the minute 😅
When the Switch 2 get released I might sell my Series X. I am done with online fps, open world rpg games made by Ubisoft and woke games. I miss 3d Mario, Mariokart, smash, Zelda. Of course I’m not only going to play Nintendo 1st party, no I will buy non-woke indie games also.
Non-woke indie games?! 😂 FFS mate… 😂😂
Good points
Xbox has potential but they just gave up
I'll answer the question way quicker than the video does. The answer is...no.
If you don’t have a PC, then, yes. They haven’t put halo, Forza, gears of war and Starfield on PS yet.
You also get the games on game pass day one, I didn’t even have to pay 70 bucks for call of duty this year.
Xbox is just better for the wallet.
@@matthew6987 if not for free cod i probably would have switched to ps5 by now haha
@@shayshalevv people on PlayStation have to buy madden for $70 versus we get it through Gamepass.
Yeah, I’m definitely glad now I can get CoD through GamePass, it would be cool if they brought all the older cods to Game Pass as well. Might bring back some livelihood to the older games.
Yes. Interestingly, Series s is the best of the bunch for the money. I have all 3. Ps4 is actually holding this generation back
So is the series s
@@kzfiveits not it’s actually saving it for the budget pcs and handhelds
3:00 "Not many major games dropped on PlayStation platform not worth talking about"
Helldivers players sighing and slightly baffled
3:22 "Not really that many accessories"
Made PSVR 2 Official adapter for PC kinder big right cause it far more affordable PC VR headset now rather than an index or quest 3 (without latency/compression issues)
BTW love your content but just throwing a few a pointers pls no hate
Helldivers was an Xbox exclusive lol
What needs to happen is crossplay only being available to play on consoles. PC people should only be allowed to play other PC cheaters... I mean people.
I love the kitchen set
If Xbox makes a handheld like the PlayStation has I’d cop in a heartbeat
You look like that dude out of the band mcfly😊
I have a high end gaming laptop much more powerful than the consoles but still play on the xbox more. Nice having both options though and being able to jump from one to the other with the same game and same position in the game. Seamlessly, very impressive in my opinion.
Ben, is that your GT4? Looks sweet bro!!
Thanks mate! Yeah sure is love cars!
Last question and I let you be, would you think the MSI Claw is a good purchase now with all the updates? Thanks so much!
@@BenRowlands can I drive it, I get my liscense in only 4 years
I still think the Series S was a mistake. It’s forced development for the lowest common denominator. Look at gaming history, optional upgrades to hardware have almost never been utilised by developers, why because they want to target the most number of players as possible.
Easy answer no
Nah
The only reason I bought an Xbox was for Microsoft Flight Simulator
12:20 i preorder, or wait for sales and buy most games digitally now. But im not willing to digitally replace the games i do have on disc, because im looking at hundreds of dollars. Even on sale, im gonna spend more on the digital version than I spent on the disc i already have
0:27 LMFAO. We got scalpers already with the 2TB Galaxy Special Edition. I pre ordered mine through MS directly. Also the Halo Infinite edition is still being scalped, so scalpers will never go away.
Give away please
Its worth it to buy an Xbox in 2024
Hey Ben can you do a video on the Xbox remix controller with the rechargeable battery it’s on Amazon for 54 pound and looks pretty good with the grips and the the battery and the colour
Mr Ben Rowland may i please have your xbox series s please i wanna try out next gen gaming so bad
No definitely not, I don't think I would buy a PS5 at this point I would go straight to PC.
Gamepass yes, console is subjective to circumstances
"Hi, my name is Phil Spencer. Just when we finally Got Games - we choose to throw that ability to push console right out the window and port to PS - because GROWTH! GROWTH! GROWTH!!!"
Or or , hi I'm phil Spencer I want to make money for the company I work for by not locking all our games to our platform. Both Sony and Nintendo should be taking notes.
Yes,, just to play Genshin Impact and ZZZ (coming later)
No just get gamepass its basically the same thing
No..........30FPS for "next gen" is a scam. Just save $600-900 and get a decent 1080p PC. PC gamepass is cheap and you can find game deals
What game is at 30FPS on the Series X, not Starfield anymore.
Martinez Mark Clark Melissa Anderson Sarah
I JUST traded in my PS5 for a Series X. All day long I’m happy. Game pass makes it worthwhile all day long.
Yes plus Game Pass
Why not buy both a Xbox and PS5, even if you're a die hard PS guy I would at least say buy the Series S that's the gateway console into Xbox. If you can afford it I would recommend getting the Series X Disc so you can buy old games for cheap. You have alot of backwards compatibility on Xbox
ps5 + series s is probably the way to go this generation, if you get them used it will probably cost 550$ for both.
@@shayshalevv even a Series X and PS5 Disc, the Xbox you can play old Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox one games. Plus you get more power than the series S.
I just picked up a xbox series X up in June and im enjoying it

No, grabbing a pc is easier. Both consoles are not doing so well.
Thing is consoles are cheaper
U have a point
@@bluefiredemon448but this is also a point as well
@@bluefiredemon448 you can buy/build yourself the same priced pc that does more than console gaming.
@@Evorexwolf same power? No disrespect to PC users really. (Cause I know pc is better) But the games specs are not the same as they used to be look at dd2as example.
This economy isn't good either part companies ar getting greedy by the minute too.
Console is NOW better for your buck. But of course if you have the money I would recommend pc
Console
Exclusive games are an overrated, old-fashioned, and reductive idea in the gaming industry. The real advantages of a gaming platform are its *services*
Why did the Switch take off? Because it has Zelda? Nope, the Wii U had Zelda. The Switch took off because of its capability as a console and handheld, i.e. "hardware services", its unique capabilities irrespective of its gaming library.
Why is Steam the de-facto platform on PC? Not because of exclusive games! Epic Games Store had exclusivity on Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Star Wars Outlaws, Alan Wake 2, and indies e.g. Kena Bridge of Spirits, Tchia, Solar Ash, etc. And yet, people wait insistently for those to come to Steam. Because of the Steam services and ecosystem.
So when those same people claim they chose a PS5 because of the exclusive games, time to call bullshit. It's popular to say exclusives sell consoles and popular to dog on Game Pass despite the rampant hypocrisy involved in doing so.
Consoles / gaming platforms set themselves apart by their services. And if you ask me, Xbox has the best services. Quick Resume (aka instant save states), cloud saves, cross saves, backwards compatibility program, and Game Pass are among the best services on any gaming platform. So when Indy / X game gets announced for PS5, no difference to me, I would rather play it on Xbox!
Xbox exclusive are on ps5 now why people buy Xbox?
Two words game pass
Not all dummy, fh5?
The only games that are or have gone to PS are games that are already on PS.
I can't believe you would actually say this. You must have heard of gamepass by now. Sony players are paying Microsoft. Why would that be an option when you can get them all day one in a service which is cheaper than Sony's alternative? Makes no sense. My advise is play on whichever one you like best. Each have good points and bad points.
@@MansaMusa50Microsoft needs PlayStation players to purchase there games.
ABK deal of close to 100 billion dollars says hello 😂
Investors want that money back as soon as possible and putting games on PlayStation is vital for them to help contribute to getting that money back, along with other platforms.

Yes I did. I bought a XSX a week ago and I am enjoying it. Got tired of the PS, been a PS fanboy since the PS1.
the answer is no you shouldn't.
Yes, yes you should
Even if I wanted a ps5, I couldn’t use it.
Actually i had ps5 since it's early releasing days it's good and I just bought a xbox series x. Although my game library on ps is more but I enjoy xbox and game pass more
So if you ask buy both of them
The answer is, "You could if you wanted to, no one will stop you"
I have the past gen Xbox One and PS4, they're both equally fine but I like the PS4 just a little better.
Both ps and Xbox had a price increase in Japan lmao
I love the Xbox serie x white edition😍
Should you buy an Xbox? No. The only Xbox tax is from Xbox itself. Plus game pass is way overpriced.
Yes 20$ a month steal people money ps plus if they raise once more their subscription isn't good anymore and for now ps plus is a reasonable if they rise once more it will be not valuable
You can literally get 3 months of gamepass for £22 which is roughly £7.50 per month. That’s incredibly good value
