the little wire is the ground right or something else cuz if its ground i can just connect it to the engine somewere like it doesnt need the cable then right?
What were the symptoms that led you to do this? My mower runs about 15-20 minutes and dies. I thought it was vapor locking, so I loosened the gas cap and that did not help. After engine cools off, it can run again. I believe it is ignition coil, but I am not a mechanic to know for sure
Get it warmed up to the point it dies, then check for spark. If nothing when warm, then another check after it cools. If spark returns, yep, coil is failing once it heat soaks a bit
If you don't have a feeler gauge, you can use a business card.
Good instructions. Clear, precise and you rock
Great video ! Straight to the point !
Thank you man the video was helpful and I am going to fix my lawn mower like I just seen you do thanks
