i'm an indian.we have got many many great things from mughals, cause they rules on us(though a rular is always a dictator) and i didn't know ever that vivaldi had written a piece on them and such a wonderful piece.it is like the d scale ruled on us.
Alex Reinhardt yes, i had the same feeling of this being ahead of that era's soundpalette. Got this impression even more when listening to the transcription for organ by Bach, that had parts that not only sounded unusual modern, but showed quite a fresh & virtuoso use of the organ's register. I like to believe that Bach felt charmed and inspired by the same virtuoso approach of the violin's register by Vivaldi. Just two like-minded geniuses.

Rv is an abreviation of Ryom Vivaldi. Who's Peter Ryom? Peter Ryom is a Danish musicologue and made a full repertoire of all the works of Vivaldi Rv 1 until Rv 700. Is work is written in german ans published under the titleAntonio Vivaldis Ausgabe Peter Ryom Ausgabe, Leipzig.
you are right see my comentary about this (Albert Gers). Happy to see that you could see that the statement of this person was wrong! also JS Bach made a transcription of this concert (see BWV 596) for organ.

It is absolutely incorrect what is stated about ''Il grosso Mossul'' It is reperiotated by Peter Ryon as Rv 208 and by the collection Ricordi nº 314. I've this partiture in my own hands about more 24 years ago!!! Johann Sebastian Bach made a transcription for organ of ''Il grosso Mossul'' !!! Please be careful for your statements.

Of course, you can expect an excess of flourish. This is Baroque interpreted in the "HIPP" style, not the very clean and over-emotional romantic style. ^_~d
But what is HIPP but a reaction to the strict interpretation of text which has become the norm since Beethoven's time. ^_~ Baroque style lives today of the knowledge handed down in treatises and accounts of the time. Richard Egarr has a video here v=aRQ6D1TAGJ0 towards 5:00 he talks of a Barrel Organ prepared by Handel's close friend C. Smith. The ornamentation is what you would say "overinterpreted". I'd rather hear an Excess of Ornaments with Vivaldi's music. ♥ :D

Of course I don't know, but my opinion was that it should be played with enegry, not like Mozart where everything must be absolutely calm and perfect. Which is, of course, beautiful, but I am more of a Vivaldi on steroids.
I. Allegro 0:06
II. Grave Recitativo 5:29
III. Allegro 8:22

Every piece of Music of A Vivaldi is simply GREAT.

The best Vivaldi violin concerto
Viva vivaldi.

Pekná zvláštna skladba výborne zahraná.Anika
Concerto absurdamente fenomenal!!! E dá para perceber a incrível qualidade do violino utilizado.
Vivaldi absolutely transcends his time with this one. It almost sounds bluegrassy!
+Alex Reinhardt >> I think it's because of a too romantic interpretation.
+Legolasicek The essence is not altered by the key with which to enter

OK, how about gypsy, for that middle movement?
Tradition of notes inegales makes them sound jazzy.
That Cadenza.... I just came.
Excellent piece, thanks for sharing.
Lmao what?
you just what
Vivaldi é Sensacional!!!
I think that I am guilty for at least 1k of the visualizations :/
Great piece and very well played!
Like me in the organ-Bach-Ton Koopman version! XD
Vivaldi is in my heart.
Here again! ;)
Hear again?
Joy!........Freude, schoener Gottesfunken, Tochter aus Elysium......joy! joy! joy!!!!
BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE ! THANK YOU FOR POSTING ☺💚💓😊
With "Grosso Mogul! didn't mean the dinasty but a precious stone.
Regards from the Vivaldi' country.
My god, when you get to JJ. Grave Recitativo it is just so meaningful

Voyage of pursuing excellence
ART !
Great tune.
Vivaldi =Brilliant!!!!! Groet, G Ruiter (bolsward) Friesland
I agree, bach partita n.6 in E min - scarlatti d. "fuga del gatto" in G min.
Tra i brani che amo di più in assoluto.
The transciption by Johann Sebatian Bach of ''il grosso mossul'' or (grosso Mogol)
is BWV 596
The transcription by Bach is BWV 594, which is transposed in C major for the organ. There is an outstanding performance by Karl Richter.
Bluegrass from 0:55 by the visionary. A L
Nossa Fantástico !!!

k bn onda, me encanto!¡!¡!¡
Bach like that :)
best
E Minor is a very unique key - so as the G minor. Anyone agree ?
E minor and F minor
Apparently it was only discovered in 2010... luck us! xD
2:55-3:30
Maravilhoso !!
This is not the concerto discovered in Scotland which shares a similar title. Maybe you could change the description?
at Start 00:00 - 00:55 is very nice, but when the Solo Player come in, Tempo is away from this Orchestra.. sorry.. i hear so.
Fair enough :)
Does anyone have the sheet for the cadenza in the third movement?
+xaviervandepoll >> Do you have a sheet music for any other part? Pleasee.. I can't find it anywhere..
@@Legolasicek You can find here! snakewoodeditions.com/index.php/product/vivaldi-3-cadenzas-for-concerto-rv-208-grosso-mogul/
What is the name of that painting?
8:22
Wow... you should have told us :P
How could you keep this from us :(
So beautiful !! 2:43
Of course, you can expect an excess of flourish. This is Baroque interpreted in the "HIPP" style, not the very clean and over-emotional romantic style. ^_~d
"Like" on 21 October 2017
What's the painting?
No, it wasn't. That's a different piece. I have a recording of this from the early 90's!
Who is the painter of the picture in the background?

which painter is this with a dutch ship in front
Hi, I think it's by the Dutch painter Ludolf Bakhuizen (1630-1708). He painted seascapes and many with rough sea just like this one.
Please, which violinist plays it???
@222mozart Well, it is, for a Mozart fan. Mozart was an etude composer, compared to the baroque masters.
What is this version?
Ma quanto è immortale Vivaldi ??????????😂😁😂
7:45 Vivaldi is the baroque Stravinsky
of course is the hipp style not the baroque style.
waterfall of notes at 2:44
This time, I do understand you.
Still don't agree
This release seems too "nervous", I prefer the interpretation of Mullova.
Of course I don't know, but my opinion was that it should be played with enegry, not like Mozart where everything must be absolutely calm and perfect. Which is, of course, beautiful, but I am more of a Vivaldi on steroids.
sorry but you must not be very familiar with Mozart's music. where did you get this idea that everything must be absolutely calm and perfect?
Mozart Piano Concerto 20, what's so calm about it ? Heer a performance on period instruments.

cristo ma veramente
nice but i prefer organ version of bach
typically- overinterpreted...(((
not good. very bad.
