We're really not sure why it works just yet, we just know that it does and we also know that the timing for loading the save after interacting with something is also important for it to carry over to older saves
@@BloodThunder another runner postulated that the flag only gets set after the animation finishes. This would be logical if the animation is separate from the scene in the sense that it'll still keep running and trying to execute the "animation finished" trigger despite the load having happened. It's touching global state and not the state of a specific actor instance, so.. At least that's my semi-educated guess at how it could be working.
@@BloodThunder Ahh, gotcha. I actually just beat the game and remember reading most of the codes were randomized per game file. Regardless, that was sick!
@@strawberrydrip there are a few randomized codes in the game but i think that's tied to the big security quest we skip over in the run. glad you liked it!
not much would really change about the route at a higher difficulty other than probably needing more med paks to tank the radiation (maybe we'd have to route in the suit but that might take too much time)
Yo I get that telling every trick would be annoying during every try. But try to make it like a sort of mantra, "waking up, brushing my teeth, making my coffee, walking the dog." etc. as in you don't have to explain the exact mechanic but at least say like "pushing the key, reloading my save with the key done." Because half this run is absurdly abstract, and when people don't understand what you are doing they can't appreciate your effort.
absolutely insane lol, just finished the game probably after like 20 hours of pure gameplay, and seeing you beat it in 29 minutes is crazy to see lol
The out of bounds skips HUUGE chunks of the game, as a lot of the quest are just running around the station to get stuff done.
Using glitches is easy.... Nothing exceptional...

It's way more enjoyable to take your time with the game imo. Get all the weapon upgrades and stuff

How did you know all passwords and other stuff If the game generate new ones with starting game?
codes and passwords are static, so they're the same every time, at least the ones we use in this route
