Being physically blind should be considered a *_blessing_* in our day.
These are loving words, hard but true. To anyone who is in bondage of lust and weeps over it, through the power of God you will overcome, if indeed God is in you. Take a stance, look to Christ, guard your eyes! Never give up, instead look to the one who saved you.
Steven Lawson is in my ear all day everyday, I love his sermons and his Bible studies. He has taught me a lot.
Dr Steve Lawson is a great man of God who is in love with the Word of God. He is one of the great preachers of our day.

He takes a verse or two of scripture and can show you so much from it that you look at it anew. He is the epitome of expository preaching. Steve Lawson is one of the most Godly men I know. He is a walking Bible encyclopedia. But more importantly, he is a faithful servant of the Lord who rightly divide the word of Truth.
Wow wow wow wow wow. This is truly how you present the gospel to others. There is is price and a huge sacrifice that most come from us. Salvation is free. But it will cost us to follow christ as you most died and let him live In you. Say no to your life and yes to his guiden and fully surrender to him. You most be renounce your desires and be willing to leave your family to follow him. Take your cross and follow JESUS CHRIST. WE MSOT preach the gospel and let others know that we most loose our lifes and live his life. The perfect way to live.

I love Steve Lawson, and I so appreciate this, and what he says is so very true, not only for ministers, but for anyone who professes to be in Christ. And I so appreciate Dr. Lawson's follow-up, whether he realized it or not, to Tom Ascol's similar observation in January that if you need to move in order to sit under solid expository preaching, then do so, for this exhortation has been weighing on my soul for some time. So appreciate the links to Dr. Lawson's talks.

Great Admonishment to lean in toward living a righteous life. Exactly whay we need to hear.
I don’t know Dr. Steven Lawson but apparently he is someone you have a lot of respect for. I will have to learn more about him. Being a pastor / evangelist / preacher is a life that is very foreign to me and I can’t imagine all of the associated challenges but I just wanted to say thank you to you and anyone reading this that is called to such an honorable position. Today I was reading the word and in 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 it says “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.” May God bless all of you, and your families, who dedicate your lives to ensuring others hear the Gospel. Thank you for all that you do.

I have listened to the “radical repentance” the other day. It is a must listen to for all Christians. It is life changing for sure. We must pursue Holiness and not being self deceived. We need to stop using the excuse which many use: “I am only human”... Oh well, you know Paul said... that which I do want to do I don’t etc etc... Romans 7:15-20 it can be a mask/excuse we perhaps use but ultimately it all comes to the heart.
How much do you want your life to reflect Christ to others? How much are you longing for Holiness, purity?? How much does Christ really mean to you???? May true followers of Christ have the desire to be like Christ and life a live worth of the calling. Blessings
I've listened to Dr Lawson . I've learnt much from him. He had been a disciple of the great late Dr. Sproul. This man is a blessing to sinners like me.

"God used him in a different sense I guess." YOU said that, not me. You would appear to be blaming God for his actions, not me. If there us a creator, there is no good evidence that such a deity is manipulating people's behaviour, so although christianity is relevant to his actions, he himself was responsible.

Many years ago I read a book that was quite influential in part of my life. After her death it was revealed that she had abused her children. Did it devalue her work? That was something I had to think about. Ultimately probably not, but it all subsequently seemed slightly tainted.
Not just ministry this is for everyone both men and women. People shouldn't think Oh I dont need to be that holy. But we all must be holy and seek righteousness. The word of god is clear. The unrighteous, sexually immoral etc will not enter heaven
In agreement with all said. We must just remember what makes us holy. Jesus Christ & He alone atones for our sins. Thats what makes us holy. Nothing we can do.
