It's intriguing how spiritual teachers can often confidently discuss topics such veganism, yet when it comes to issues intertwined with politics, personal identity, there's a noticeable shift in tone or withdrawal. Topics like colonialism, white supremacy, and late-stage capitalism are crucial, yet it's rare to find spiritual leaders who address them directly and provide guidance. This disconnection from reality can hinder our ability to address pressing societal issues effectively and places a strain on efforts to enact meaningful change. The situation in Gaza is not hidden anymore. It requires open and frank discussion.

@@rachelebgi I did. And It made me feel more encouraged to question my consumption of cheese than to confront how deeply our cultural conditioning is connected with the massacre of civilians in Gaza… It’s that tendency to use spiritual ideas and practices to sidestep or avoid facing critical issues that require collective efforts.

Jesus himself chose to incarnate directly into the Middle East, and yet 2000 years later there is still slaughter. My question is, in the grand scheme of eternity and souls finding their way back to God, how does solving the current situation fall onto Asha's plate? I do not believe it is her mission in this lifetime, if it were, she would be doing it. This is only my opinion and surely I am no expert. I say this with all due respect to your point of view. 💙✨️

@@rachelebgiEntering the world of high stake politics is not where the heart opens; it starts with small revelations as to what we are all about, why we are here.
