The Mighty Space Marine Dreadnaught is the pillar of a Space Marine army. A fallen comrade cladded in iron to give them one last chance to give it to the enemy.
The next model finished for my Howling Griffons Army is this wonderful metal Dreadnaught.

I have a load of old metal dreads in bits in my pile of leaden shame! Must break them out and show them the love they deserve
Much nostalgia for the old boxy dreads, when your opponent pulled one out on the table you knew you were in trouble! If they pulled out two...you just shook hands and went home!

The old metal boxnaught is a wonderful old mini. I've got one myself, found one almost complete from ebay a while ago - just missing the smoke launcher.

Really pleased to have found your channel. I think the metal minis and the dreadnoughts look like they naturally come from a battlefield. I think that's something which sets it apart from the modern plastics. I only painted one for my Dark Angels and when you mentioned the weight I suddenly remembered how heavy it was 😂
