    Never thought I’d have to search for a video like this but here I am two days after a broken knee and had planned a vacation and was meant to leave for it today. Now I’m stuck in bed at home. The first night I crawled backwards up the stairs and it was so hard to get up because I crawled all the way to my living room. I’m finally starting to get the hang of using them around my house but I’m so scared to have to use the steps again tomorrow for my doctors app. Thank you for this!!!

    I'm 13 days out from having surgery on my ankle and today was the first day I had to use stairs to get out of my apartment to go to my docs office. I wish I had seen this video before because I really struggled getting down and then up again. Thanks for doing this, I'm going to keep going over it for when I have to go out again.

    Great video!!! Other videos on using crutches on the stairs do not focus on how to hold your injured leg, which really helps!😊

    Thank you! I broke my lower fibula...leg last Sunday and this week has been completely horrible. I'm not used to not being able to get up and go whenever and I hate even leaving my house because it has been so hard to go up and down my front porch stairs. And I've been sleeping in the couch downstairs because it is too much trouble going up 16 stairs to my bedroom. I tried your tips this afternoon and you saved the day! I'm still unsure about going upstairs to the bedroom tonight but at least I feel more comfortable with my porch steps. Great video thank you so much!

    Thanks a lot. It gave me lot of confidence. I put my bad foot up when I climbed, i didnt use crutches, i used Walker for regular use after my ankle fracture.My doctor told me crutches are better. I am going to buy crutches as I started my work after 3 wks of sick leave, especially to climb stairs. I used to hold the staircase rails, and put my bad foot up while climbing. Will try to make changes sooner. Thanks again

    • @heatheranne3160
      @heatheranne3160  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it is normal for the leg you are walking on to become sore and tied because it is doing all the work, however if it gets really bad you should probably contact my doctor! Personally for me it was actually my shoulders and neck that stared to hurt the most after using crutches, even more than the broken foot.
