If they made this version into a regular mp sized version as their last mp-10 with led eyes it would've been a must buy for me. It would be an mp-10 to put where my mp-10 used to go in my display as the definitive final version of the mp-10 mold as a sort of tribute to that version of prime since it's very statuesque.
I have the original release of this battle damage mpp10 and I absolutely love it. I have him battling the WJ Megs. Sad to hear they won't be doing any more of these MPP's.
I do think this looks good, I'd probably be tempted to get him if they had fixed the shoulders like the Lewin. I like Weijiang I'm glad they are making original pieces, but I hope they keep producing KOs as well.
It's a shame no one ever did a standard sized mp10 ko in this paint scheme because it is by far my favorite for the mold, even better if it was a mp10 sized version of the wj mpp10 because of the slightly improved proportions. If I had a mp10 with this look it would still have a prominent place in my display despite the new mp prime taking the spot of the original. Also wj shouldn't be surprised about lackluster sales of their oversized mps considering which ones they've chosen to do and how they've done them. The face sculpts on some aren't quite right and they should've gone with this sort of approach paint wise with them because it gives them a more premium, statue quality presence with the amount of detail. I for one would own all of them if they came with a display base like this one and more real world, tastefully distressed, mature paint apps. That said, personally I do prefer the standard mp size for cartoon based mps but when it comes to the movie mps there's something about oversizing them(wj sized, some companies get carried away a bit) that really makes them come to life/seem much more impressive like they should've been larger from the start, especially when their designs are modified/improved and they come with much more detailed paint apps and LEDs.
If Takara had originally made the gas tank rotate and stay above instead of covering half the wheel well it would be my favorite prime. I would also had like to been able to see the tires. But Still excellent mold and design.
Never really was big on the oversized KOs, but damn...can't believe Wei Jiang's bowing outta the KO game entirely. Now I'm gonna have to reconsider my budget next month to scoop this up. And it doesn't help that the paint job on this mofo is - as you would say, Ben - "glorious"!! Meanwhile, KuBianBao needs to get off their asses and do their MP10V in this exact color scheme...along with downsizing many other things (like the Maketoys Seekers)...don't let the peeps behind Cool Become Brave eat y'all lunch!! (Speaking of them, they need to do the Unite Warriors Stunticons already...I needs me a Dragstrip & Wildrider on the cheap!!)
On this version of mpp10z are the fully articulated hands a better paint match this time, does anyone know? I have the original mpp10z and am trying to find out. I cant quite tell in the video
I think an opportunity was missed to create THE definitive Prime (not just THE definitive MP-10 or MPP-10) by not releasing this color scheme in a pristine variant. I personally think this color pallete is the more mature, adult, collectible-esque; he looks like a work of art here whereas the normal scheme he looks, well, like a toy. But some of us don't love our stuff looking like we threw them down a rocky hill (or at least down the driveway). And while I will own him and he'll scale amazingly well with Black Mamba LS03 and reasonably well with Unique Toys UT R-02 on my Prime shelf....as it pertains to the damaged look----while I think this variant improves GREATLY on the Z version which took the damage a bit too far, I can't help but wonder if we'd be looking at a pristine version of this.....perhaps also with the additional gun from the BB7 set....and considering it as one of the best representations, presentations and packagings of Prime EVER. Its definitely close and to be honest I'm not certain what other Prime I'd put above it overall (and don't say MP-44 which people continue to justify the price for based on filler accessories nobody will ever use.... I'd take THIS at $400 before I'd take MP-44 at $200).....but as seems to so often be the case something that is great could've been all time with a smidge more.
Ben! I thought I was done buying MPP-10s as I've got them all (had resigned to missing out on the original release). Also, WJ is getting out of the OS business? That's too bad, I bought the Ratchet and Ironhide as well. Gonna miss those. However, they make a quality bot, so I'm excited to see what they come up with in the 3P realm.
Aidan Farren-Hart because MP-44 is coming out and we’ve already had two additional 3P Prime molds. They’ve milked their “improved” MP10 mold and I still like it myself but yeah it is old and has been surpassed.
It's not obsolete for truck mode :-) truck mode for MP 44 looks like total crap. The gas tanks alone make me cringe and this is about what I'm willing to pay for a truck mode and trailer not $500 for something that looks meh..
Aaron Grove well we don’t have MP-44 yet. All we have are pictures but I can’t comment on something I don’t have in hand yet. Like I said though there are two other truck modes with the 3P offerings so I still stand by my original statement.
Battle damage is the best version of Prime I've seen. This looks so much more high end than standard shiny toy Prime. IMO. Though they both have there place.
Got mine the other day and instantly bought a second. This is probably my favorite figure ever.

Damn the chinese man. They nailed it. This guy saved me a tonne of money as I was planning to get the hot toys optimus. 👍🏻
I do think this looks good, I'd probably be tempted to get him if they had fixed the shoulders like the Lewin. I like Weijiang I'm glad they are making original pieces, but I hope they keep producing KOs as well.
Good honestly I would love to see different bots come from WJ. Imagine upscaled diecast upgraded siege Jetfire or Sunstreaker?
Dang... I collect the oversized masterpieces to match with my binaltech bots. Sad to hear that WJ won't be doing more in the future.
It might be an old mold, but in my opinion it's still the best MP Prime out there, as I really am not hugely fussed about 100% animation accuracy

Love that battle damaged version. Got the normal MPP10 and love the quality and look more than everything else!
If Takara had originally made the gas tank rotate and stay above instead of covering half the wheel well it would be my favorite prime. I would also had like to been able to see the tires. But Still excellent mold and design.
Just got the prime and Megatron to go with my originals,Cheers for the reviews otherwise I wouldn't of thought of purchasing them.
Where did you purchase, Megatron? I don't see it on showzstore.
Aww darn I'm hoping WJ at least gives us an upscaled MPM Megatron before they possibly quit doing KO's.
In truck mode you have to push the smokestacks down.
Buenisimo. Wei jiang tiene casi diría yo los mejores modelos
WJ need to do better market research. When Iron Hide was announced, Baidu and Weibo collectively cried
"为什么?"
OS MP13 = $$$
I have been waiting forever for a oversized Soundwave. Sad that they will not continue this line. Excellent review as always BensKOllectables.
Is there a WJ/Wei Jiang Toys website, where we can find all the Wei Jiangs till date
That is a sexy paintjob
That paint scheme isn’t for me. But it does it look well done indeed.
This is an amazing figure! I still like the added battle damage of the previous one better though.

That base looks very familiar. Like an oversized version of one that came with something else. But still it looks nice with prime.
Which container will fit to this?
On this version of mpp10z are the fully articulated hands a better paint match this time, does anyone know? I have the original mpp10z and am trying to find out. I cant quite tell in the video
The hands match the blue perfectly. Both sets of hands!
감사합니다. 잘 보고 갑니다!^^
Any bumblebee that will match?
What batteries does the big gun take?
Have you purchased the Mpp10 trailer yet?
Nice one.

An amazing OS Prime Ben!
Where do I get one from?
what batteries for the big gun?
Can anyone speak to how durable the paint is? I’m afraid to transform mine in case it gets scraped easily.
Hey, Ben will you be getting the IT-02 Dinobot to review? I'm looking forward to hearing about that one.
Ben love the channel..what battery do I need for the gun by the way??
Is this the only battle damage toy available?
Mine arrived yesterday and I'm excited to get it unpacked. This will be my fifth version of MPP-10, I love this figure!
Must say that this is nowadays an obsolete mold.
What makes you say that?
Aidan Farren-Hart because MP-44 is coming out and we’ve already had two additional 3P Prime molds. They’ve milked their “improved” MP10 mold and I still like it myself but yeah it is old and has been surpassed.
I agree easy pass for me.

Wei Jiang is down, and its founder Mr. An Peng was arrested
They are back , there designs have been bought by another company
@@BensKOllectables Who can it be?
How your wife let you spend too much money on toys and stuffs like that? Xdd
am i the only one here who doesn't like battle damaged looks?
I prefer it. Original mp10 paint scheme just looks like a plastic toy. My friend thought this was a high end statue at first
Battle damage is the best version of Prime I've seen. This looks so much more high end than standard shiny toy Prime. IMO. Though they both have there place.
