Hey that was me in the Michelangelo! On the other side of the map the enemy team pushed hard into the cap at first and overwhelmed us so we had to kite away for a bit. But they over pushed and we started picking them off, after I destroyed their veneto I saw an opening and shoved my Michelangelo in the middle of their ships and our team on that side did a great job with capitalizing on the chaos that caused and the support the gave was excellent. We completely flipped the tables and ended up overwhelming them and got the win at the end of the day, GG to everyone!
@@DerkaGames I had 140,000 damage with around 400 secondary hits. Yes the secondary damage gets pretty much no xp! It’s a shame too because the whole Italian BB lines gimmick is the sap secondaries and you do not get rewarded at all xp wise for using that gimmick. But anyway Michelangelo though…… oh man if you fully build into it they feel like pre nerf lepanto secondaries, the 90mm guns on my build have a reload of 2.9 seconds and the 155mm guns reload around 6.5 seconds and they are accurate.
You sort of ruined my plan of killing azuma, stealth up and run, had 11.8km concealment, would have gotten away with it if you didn't come back around. I wasn't confident that can win points.

You don’t have to buy this or many other things in other games. You’re right though, they sure do try and some people are more susceptible to fomo than others.

I agree, I prefer when you have your videos showcasing two games. It's not just because of the gameplay, it's because of the commentary that you provide with the gameplay.
This was a great deal and I bought instantly. I’m also happy to have the commander for the inspiration on my agile builds. I’ve got experience with the Rochester and it’s a treat to have the radar with Baltimore. Side note, I like to see the premium commanders along with free to play. Helps me know I’d want to spend the $$ when they come back or not.
I pulled the AL Balti a few years ago from a crate... have been running it with exactly the build/commander (Scott) you show, even though I have premium commanders. I just think he's the best choice. The grouping/accuracy perks he brings to bear (along with punch through) really play to the strengths of the heavy support cruiser.
Interesting video, as usual. I've had AL Baltimore (AND the TT Baltimore) for a while, and found her to be a solid cruiser commander. I like the Baltimore themselves over the Russian equivalents for various reasons similar to yours.. Enjoy your break, matey. :).
I recently bought this ship. The highest tier I have ever reached is tier V so far as I make my way through the American line. I was nervous that the big jump in tiers would make me suffer. Complete opposite. AL Baltimore is such a fine ship. Even in games where I’m lagging behind and can only provide peppered supporting fire, I bring in a lot of credits and XP. Its handling and gun performance is great as an introduction to many skilled strategies. Overall, it’s a wonderful ship. It feels like a steal for it to be so cheap and yet be such a good all-rounder
Cheers budd, decided to give this one a go, but I did follow your advice on Norman Scott, with some smart cruiser plays and moves, its not a bad ship at all, first round was 67k Dmg, 2nd was 71k and 3rd was 107k dmg, and still with potential to do more, not a bad little bargin I think...
And I still stand by my recommendation. As you said, players should play all types of ships and I fully agree. But picking a wafer thin CL as your very first premium is a recipe for a bad time. And regardless of what you play, you're not going to carry very many games just camping behind an island. You're going to have to learn how to play in the open water sometime... It surprised me when you said you play AL Baltimore around islands because its one of the CAs I always play in the open water. The only time I'm near an island with her is when I'm capping. On the subreddit I did say this $15 bundle is the best premium bang for your buck package outside of the now out of print physical version of the game. A CA like this will pen more and allow for more mistakes. But what allows for the most mistakes and lets you live the longest, so you have more play time and more learning opportunities? BBs in general, and of them, the tankier the better.
I do have her but I did purchased this for that 26mil in credits which is way better than 15mil for 40 bucks. This is my go to of the 3 Baltis available and my go to on 3v3 T7 cruiser Brawls. I'm running Scott because I have him maxed out at 16-4 with the Bluto guise on it with Mimbelli and Kuznetsov as inspirations using Beyond Range, Igniter, Punch Through, Fixated and Fully Packed. For mods I'm using Traverse, Engine, Rudder and Main Reload. Normally I always use HE and I don't mind the accuracy at range because I just want to burn them and use AP against other cruisers at close range and yes I have crit hit a Vladivostok because of her exposed citadel meanwhile the Buffalo can hit Montana's Citadel.
I’m new and was getting crushed in fleet cups trying to play the gj merker and got slapped around every game. Stumbled on this and bought it immediately and it’s my fav ship. I get crazy good grouping with the anime commander, usually around10+ a game and she’s only level 7….that extra health would be sweet though ngl
I have tried and tried and tried with the American heavy cruiser line, but every time I fired a broadside ship, no matter what build I use I’m always met with overpens ricochets, shatters, and all honesty it’s soured me on the entire line

Just started play WoWs legends and so far enjoying it. One thing I wil say those azur lane crates a not bad. Got New Jersey, Q Elizabeth, Chapayev, Montplier, and Zara from idk 15 crates I crates? That's including that free ones. Also the Baltimore is on hell of a boat, enjoying it quite a bit.
Love my tt Balti. It was my 1st t7 and my most used boat for a long time. I have a couple premiums that have now past her because I never get premium so I'm always silver poor😂 I'm closing in on 4yrs of playing this game daily, still no AL commanders or ships from weegee's free AL crates for me. 🤣 Gg🍻

Atago is NEVER going to be available because of a contractual issue with the voice actress. Hakuro is the replacement for Atago. I have both but I haven’t spent the resources to rank up Hakuro since Atago is 16/3.
@@angusmackay7281 they are different traits. I’m at work so I don’t have access to my game but I looked on Reddit because I’m sure this would have come up. Per a Reddit user: with Haguro you lose fire chance and torp detection buffs, but gain more armor pen, range, FULLY PACKED. And full speed ahead. You also don’t have the incoming damage issue when using Atago. You’ll live longer in Haguro but I’m guessing your DPM suffers.
Noob friendly at T7!! It is a nice ship but we really don't need even more noobs at higher tiers. It's not good for them and it's not good for their team mates. New players should be focusing on Tiers 3 and 4 where there is competitive play but mistakes are not punished quite as viciously. There are some decent T3 & T4 premiums at low prices, they may not earn as much silver as T7s but the costs are lower at lower tiers so the impact is the same.
"noob" is a broad term. Doesn't necessarily mean day 1 players. Although I wouldn't change my title anyways. Campaign ships (tier 7 and 8) are available all the time for brand new players. As are LT ships. Its a game, let people (yeah even new ones) play any tier they want...they're going to do it anyways.
This was a good game starting out. I never mind putting some money into a game I enjoy, but it turns quickly into a money pit. Unless you have that kind of life that allows you to treat this game like a full time job, you’re not gonna ever get anywhere without spending the equivalent of like 5 new games. $50 for a single ship?!! I don't invest money into games that are terrible at rewarding the time and effort it takes to get good at a game and out of all the pvp games I've played, wowsl is the worse at rewarding skill. This entire game is a slot machine. And, just like a slot machine, it can be fun to play and you CAN his the jackpot once in a while, but that's a random number generator, not a competition. So I'm just fine with my normal tech tree balti.

Nicely done! How much damage you have? I figured it might actually be pretty high considering your xp. Secondaries don’t earn s*** for xp in this game

All Tier 7 DDs are available for GXP (friesland, yudachi, ZF6, Paolo, and Loyang) But if I had to rank them Friesland is first, ZF6 2nd

@@booferzz Much further than that, actually. And I said as much. As I said it CAN be fun...sometimes...it's just not very competitive. Between the rng protecting bad players and terrible players having no idea what they're doing so often the game is shitshow, which is why I don't invest money into it and I discourage others.
@@l77scmaro2 fair. I find this with most games now though. I’ve played competitively most of my life, and I mean yeah people are frustrating. But I find it frustrating in almost every multiplayer game. People are just morons
@@booferzz granted. And playing a game like a moron should result in consequences, in suffering. But my issue with modern gaming, esp rng based games, is they put kid gloves on everything. It's like the devs are so afraid they might lose a dollar somewhere they turned to this "no one should feel bad, everyone gets a trophy, no one is better than anyone else" model to appeal to the average moron and hamper anyone with more than two synapse firing at once.

It’s a cruiser so be careful BUT yeah play islands near caps and this thing is noob friendly. Position well at the start of matches, support your DD, kill enemy DDs and you’ll be golden
