    Loved your in depth review man! If may ask, what’s the length of the guitars you got in your case? Like from bottom of body to top of headstock?
    Only reason I ask is cause I have a fender Strat and a squier that I put conversion baritone neck and so it measures about 40” in overall length and was wondering if it’d fit in this size case or if I should look at the XL size

    • @MadManMusic
      @MadManMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Freddy!
      Thanks for watching!
      Thats a great question. My guitars are just about 41” (104cm) in total length.
      There is removable foam that would allow for even more clearance! About about 2” or so.
      So if yours are about the same, I dont think you”ll have trouble with the standard AMG-2.
      Thanks for the question!
      Let us know if you pick one up and how it works for you!

    Maybe an explanation about the bulk luggage. Most airports have sort of an luggage distribiuting system underfloor. They use carts on which those oversized bags/cases will not fit. That is mostly why you have to bring it to this bulk luggage counter. You only have to pay extra for overweight....like you said

    • @MadManMusic
      @MadManMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In most "Cases" (see what I did there) you don't have to pay extra if it's under the weight limit... but there are actually rules regarding the Size of the item and technically they can charge you crazy fees for it if they wanna be jerks about it... (For Example Eurowings, Lufthansa and Swiss Air say they can charge you up to 700 euros...) But as mentioned, keep it under weight and I don't think there will ever be a problem...

      @stephansassen6275 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MadManMusic Yeah I kow, in our company it was never a problem, if the weight was right. Only more weight makes you burn more fuel. Ryanair will definetly make you pay, as they try to make money out of everything. I think the fees are like 150 for flights to the US, within Europe like 50. It probably also depends on how good the flight is booked. If it is full and a lot of luggage is expected, they might charge you, because chances are good they have to leave luggage behind. And of course it depends on the person behind the counter ;)

      Generally, I just book a check bag and show up with that biiiiish. And its good! 😃

    Thanks for the in-depth review. Quick question, do you think it'll fit one strat and one medium sized accoustic?

    • @MadManMusic
      @MadManMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! And thanks for the question. I don't think an Acoustic will with in this particular case.
      It isn't designed for the size of an acoustic.
      However, there is an Acoustic Model that an Electric would fit in it! It just might need some extra foam to lock it into place.
      I hope that helps!

    Nice video man! I have a question. Can you gate check this in the airport?

    • @MadManMusic
      @MadManMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You probably wont be able to get as far as the gate with it, once you check in, the teller will automatically point you in the direction of “Bulky Luggage”. Whether or not they charge you extra for that is unfortunately up to them… I’ve not been charged anything extra outside of standard baggage fees but keep that in mind..
      Hope that helps!

    thank you dude, I finally pulled the trigger on an ENKI amg 2 case, and your in depth review was one of the many reasons that swayed me! I've got a random question here, what size was that luggage strap? I'm gonna take all your advice because its completely logical! I already got a TSA lock, many thanks

      Awesome! I think you’ll really enjoy it.
      Truthfully I’m not sure exactly how long my straps are, but I think if you go for straps that fit a large suitcase you’ll be fine.
      I think I left a link in the description for some. Check it out, If those are incorrect let me know…

      @@MadManMusic how well do stickers sit on the case? If I was to cover the ENKI with cool rock stickers, would it stick well or come off? cheers...

    • @MadManMusic
      @MadManMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My Pro-Pain sticker sticks just fine!
      I guess i would suggest using traditional stickers and not something that is meant to be temporary or for use on other materials like glass.
      Then you should be fine!
