IT Job चं फॅड म्हणू शकत नाही. कारण उच्चशिक्षित लोकांना चांगल्याच नोकरीची अपेक्षा असणार. अशा संधी माझ्या माहितीप्रमाणे पुण्यामुंबईतच आहेत. आमच्या सांगली बद्दल बोलायचं झालं तर औद्योगिक क्षेत्र मागे आहे आणि IT parks अजिबात नाही त्यामुळे आमच्या लोकांना बाहेरगावीच जावं लागतं. पण चांगली गोष्ट ही आहे की आजकाल सांगलीत ब-यापैकी पुणेरी जीवनशैली रूजत असल्याने रोजगाराच्या संधी उपलब्ध आहेत. शिवाय परवडतही आहे. त्यामुळे भविष्यात हे कथित फॅड कमी होईल. 👍

Excellent conversation, and many relevant points. I've had people say that i have 123 lpa package but as a fresher or rather even with someone below 4 years of experience is package so important. You might earn 2-3 lakhs more today but you might loose 15-20 lakh per annum in future if you do not focus on quality and learning experience. (FYI- speaking from my 17+ years of IT experience) Otherwise as well excellent points about covid batch which is worrying and impact of AI on jobs

Good that you recognised and apologize for being insensitive towards the student from COVID time. It was horrific time almost no one experience such a situation in their entire life. I have many friends who were not good programmers at the of graduation but they cracked it, made it in fact contributed to some of the great products. It's all depends on individual, how one sees opportunity, willing to adopt, willing to accept mistakes and learn from it.

I work in Tech industry in Australia and can relate about big hefty packages here. IT sector is highest paid after Doctors and Lawyers here. Min package starts from $130K AUD (one shouldn't convert in INR although for context its 65L). With more experience you can fetch a lot more. It's outrageous

If you have gap after degree companies won't even take interviews of those candidates One of my friend got job by adding fake experience and doing very well in his job since 2 years, but yes you have take extra efforts There is nothing wrong in putting fake experience when companies not allowing candidates who are having gap in career
I don't think so. It's always the knowledge that counts. You need fake certificate only if you are incompetent. If I have to select between two, student with a gap & a fresher, I would select the one that exhibits knowledge and proves his aspiration for it. Coz at the end I want the work get done.
