I do think scout troopers are superior to storm troopers. For only one reason. A scout trooper back hands Han Solo in RotJ and sends Han to the ground. That’s always been pretty dope. Plus I liked how they looked more than stormtroopers. I’m glad you got everything I could think of when it comes to information about them I wished we got to see them in sniper roles more often And that the empire in general wasn’t just a big joke. They also must have been really good with them because they manage to block Cal's lightsabre at the hilt, which is pretty impressive given the size of a lightsabre hilt.

Val in Solo movie uses a holdout blaster 1:29 (looks same model) against the viper droids on the bridge...maybe they were used across the ranks, or were surplus stock? She had it with her on Mimban as well as Vandor...maybe it was sturdy, for mud and wet and snow too..sounds like decent weapon for its size!

minor request/suggestion = you could create a sticker in the upper corner for these videos that labels stuff as "Legends" ... that way you can make videos like this and still contain the cool stuff that happened in Legends, but just with the visual cue to indicate when you grab sources from that type of lore.

Yes, the ROTJ helmets flip up. George Lucas got tired of extras taking their stormtrooper buckets off, as it would delay the production schedule, so he specifically asked that scout helmets be able to open to save time.
I bet post-battle of Endor Imperial warlords made extensive use of them for scouting/poking and prodding at each other while also finding new base sites to holdout in.

What made me hate the Mandalorian, is what made me hate Rebels. Making Imperials look completely incompetent. Why? For an overused and poor joke? The only thing it does is make the main threat in the show less (or completely not) intimidating and powerful. And it's annoying.

Scout Troopers are my favorite stormtrooper in Star Wars, and that will never change since I saw Return of the Jedi.
You missed an important fact. The DLT 20A blaster rifle was usually used by scouts, more so then the E11-sniper.
Both scout troopers and storm troopers are elite soldiers, there're just no match against plot armor.
