Well, at least they added something after centuries. As for ToA, I love it. I like how you can switch weapons and echoes. As well as how it gives us the option to choose a stage. It honestly reminds me of PGR's PPC and Warzone combined.
I would rather do another Abyss than Imaginarium Theater. All of the extra steps just feel so pointless. Breeze thru the first couple of stages with Xiao/Faruzan, buy characters for 80 flowers until you have ones you like, then try to build cohesive teams. At the end of it, I there are like 2 stages that end up actually being fun... instead of 24. Doesn't really math out very well, unless you wanna effectively do 8 daily commissions for 620 primos lol
At least you could finish it. I can only get up to level 6 because I don't have enough characters (just started playing 7 months ago). I would say overall, Imaginarium Theater is fun, but it really feels more like an event than an endgame. And I don't like the restrictions, I wish they would make it a bit more unpredictable. Like, let us use low-level characters, but with some fun buffs, like in WuWa's Illusive Realm.

TBF, you can easily cheese certain hologram onshots with bell buff and echo transformations, taking 0 damage. When one shot lines up with Inferno Rider in Changli's rotation it feels like I've ascended, even though that was pure Rng. But on the other hand, you can also shift your echo in rotations to match those oneshots if you want to continue pumping deeps without dodging.
This game needs loadouts even more than Genshin. Since you only really need to level a damage and energy weapon for each type, and only 1 set of damage stat for each element (unless other stat scaler/support), there is not a lot of incentive to level multiple gears. We certainly agree that both games need loadouts. Game with such system like many characters and artifacts / echoes is simply horrible in the long run without build presets.
Tbh, loadout are surprisingly not that relevant😅 The only I need to change are probably the active echoes I'll summon that will buff my character....that's it
I really enjoy WuWa endgame, they did a great job taking the Spiral Abyss model and improving it in basically every single way. Sim Universe from HSR is still my favorite endgame content in a gacha game, hopefully Kuro keeps working on Illusive Realm to bring it up to that point (or better).

I have 30/30 ToA this cycle and just waiting for reset. Honestly, this is a good skill and build check because even if you have good builds, without proper rotations and quick swaps, you won't be able to 30/30 ToA as of now. @@nobody-xh6ii first i'm comparing the newest end game content in genshin, not abyss (already said that). second, if abyss force player to bring the counter element then you need bring more than one character. just like solo neuvillete vs the hydro enemy cant do anything. third, still abyss have a "rule" that u cant change equipment. neuvillette can solo the room but if other room cant use neuvillete weapon or artifacts. in terms of resource efficiency, they are not flexible
I hate this mode. Without every elemental type of verina [i'm talking havoc baizhu for example who can heal + shield/interuption resist + buff or shield + buff + sub dps or heal + sub dps + shield, etc] the vigor is fking terrible...
No, and they should at least rework it. It's just as bad and annoying as Genshin's abyss, down to frustrating levels with waves of trash before an elite/boss. It also punishes you for playing correctly, as the timer does not slow for dodges while they add enemies without parry windows. And they keep buffing this shit every cycle so you don't even feel any improvement with gear upgrades. They the right idea with tactical hologram event where you also had timer, but could compensate for lack of gear and rng luck on substats with technique score for playing well. ToA needs mechanics like this. Either clear or in time, or play well enough so you can max score it with proper play. And for the live of all that's holy, they need to stop mixing trash waves that scatter like cockroaches with bosses.
Totally disagree. It's horrible to need 3 teams for a new game. There is no easy way to swap gear - it's a pain. The game actually wants you to use mono-element teams which means you need to farm multiple same echo sets. Thumbs down.
What there is not a single mono element team that is meta right now. Also 3 teams in this game is 9 characters to build compared to 8 in games like hsr on genshin, and that’s not factoring in gear swapping
@@THESocialJusticeWarrior that’s not a mono team that implies all three member are the same type. Also you don’t need to do dps sets you can just use moonlight clouds on both
@@huejanus1333 no. supports are often a different type in every mono team in every game. Like the CC character's element doesn't matter. The healer's element doesn't matter.

Imagine being able to use nilu bloom on lower side 1st chamber and then on top side 2nd chamber and then lower side again 3rd chamber Now imagine you don't have to run two teams simultaneously and can tackle challenges individually And now imagine you can actually change nilu's key and give it to furina without resetting your previous clear That's TOA basically
im sorry if the end game just "arena" base PGR did it better with babel tower, can u imagine open world game but the end game not even in the open world? yeah right
As a PGR player, I don't like ToA mode lol. Kuro already has better endgame mode formats like Babel but they haven't brought them to WW for unknown reasons.
They could be saving them for future versions. After all, one of big criticism of Genshin is that endgame wasn't changed for years, so a constant stream of new modes would be an additional source of "Genshin could never".
Babel isn't available in every patch and throwing such a difficult mode into WuWa right now is a bad idea since most players still need more time to build their teams, it's a sweaty challenging mode that is fun every now and then, not every two weeks though. ToA is similar to PGR's pain cage but much better imo. Adding more modes right now might overwhelm players since most can't even clear 30/30 ToA yet, I'd give it a few more patches, then we'll see.
you know what would make ToA better?? for me it would be changing the time attack challenge into a hit challenge. probably harder, it depends but you dont need to have godlike or perfect gear to win. you need skills instead, for me, this is what kuro needs to do to just push with the narrative that you need gaming skills when playing wuwa. prioritize players skills instead of character development. my opinion tho
That would be great currently its as boring as abyss with timed restriction and hp sponge enemies. This is terribly boring fake difficulty in games that im tired to see. I just want a skill check not gear and money check 😔
Yeah but remember that casuals have to eventually be able to clear the Tower with average time/money investment, since tower is the main source of astrite it means Kuro shouldn't make it harder / higher skill floor. Instead of changing the tower for harder they should just make a new gamemode which has high skill ceiling and average-high skill floor
@@Gheniel_making it hit based would still become easier as you are more geared, since you'll kill the enemies faster and hence have less attacks overall to avoid/hit. Best defense, being a strong offense.
@@Zer0Perplexity what i mean by hit challenge is how many hit you allowed, i don't know what the perfect number for this but lets say, 2 hits or less you get perfect clear, 3-6 hits allowed gets you 2 stars(forgot the term for ToA) then 7 and more hits get you 1 star clear. damage stays the same, hp of enemy stays the same. but instead of trying to outgear the level you outskill it. you can still always out gear it but it takes a little bit more skill, cause you have to worry about getting hit. a lot of times its hard to execute proper combo when you have to mind about getting hit.
@@Zer0Perplexity no i mean if a boss needs 400 hits it will be equally distributed to all team member and when i mean hit i dont mean one press of a button even if that one press hits 3 times it will only count as one

@JAYGURUDEVMFG that still would favor Resonators like Danjin who has quick animations, spams Resonance Skills and relatively fast Liberation charges. Also in general sounds really time consuming at those quantities, but i see what you mean.

I love the game embraced the way of using more teams than just only 2 strongest teams. But the amount of resource needed to upgrade a character is too much, especially material to upgrade weapon, char exp and finally money
All I see is spyral abyss with extra steps, and equipment sharing, unless you only pull for characters of the same element/weapon type (which the game cleary discourage you to do considering bosses have elemental resistances) is not that useful most of the time
Unfortunately in genhsin when you rebuild your character and wanna continue with new build in spiral abyss..you have to start from floor 1 😔 so tedious
Idk why they are saying 1 time per use. It's more that the same team has to clear all three floors of that chamber. Gear is locked. The only actual boon of ToA is sharing equipment, reset of all energy (mixed pro/con) and mix matching characters per floor. It's more accessible in general due to this, but also a major annoyance to switch everything from character to character.

In abyss you can clear with 1 character if you are strong enough to do so. And yes, you can do it with less than 4. Unless you mean theater
Agree
???: Wuwa a doesn't respect my time.
@@huejanus1333 Encore and Changli is meta. Calcharo + Yinlin is meta.
3 team?, 1 dps and verina for middle. 1 dps and sub dps and sp for stage 3 and 4 in left and right. Stage 1 and 2 just use some character with lv70 or 80.
Totally I just need 6 characters which mean 2 team
ok so ToA is the BEST because you like it, got it *noted*
It's actually the opposite. He likes ToA because it's the BEST. And he gave reasons why it's the best.
Imagine being able to use nilu bloom on lower side 1st chamber and then on top side 2nd chamber and then lower side again 3rd chamber
Now imagine you don't have to run two teams simultaneously and can tackle challenges individually
And now imagine you can actually change nilu's key and give it to furina without resetting your previous clear
That's TOA basically
genshin meat riders bro😭😭
im sorry if the end game just "arena" base PGR did it better with babel tower, can u imagine open world game but the end game not even in the open world? yeah right
As a PGR player, I don't like ToA mode lol.
ToA is just combination of PCC and Warzone.
But wish it was point based than time gate.
true. pgr still has better gamemodes and more content in general. lets hope that kuro will improve endgame in future
ToA is basically the spiral abyss.
I used to play Babel too and it is better.
you know what would make ToA better?? for me it would be changing the time attack challenge into a hit challenge. probably harder, it depends but you dont need to have godlike or perfect gear to win. you need skills instead, for me, this is what kuro needs to do to just push with the narrative that you need gaming skills when playing wuwa. prioritize players skills instead of character development. my opinion tho
Yeah ...like collecting points challenge...they use this so much in pgr for example war zone...I like doing war zone
There should be a endgame mode where to kill a boss you need specific number of hits with all the characters from your team
That would just make Resonators with more hits on their attacks more preferred.
that just GBF Relink end game boss bruh, especially Lucilius boss
@@Zer0Perplexity no i mean if a boss needs 400 hits it will be equally distributed to all team member and when i mean hit i dont mean one press of a button even if that one press hits 3 times it will only count as one
@@Zer0Perplexity also i have thought that this mode should not be limited by time like toa where to get 3 star you will have to deafeat a boss with 3min remaining because this will be beneficial for character with faster attack speed or animation instead it should be like to kill a boss it will require total of 400 hits (1star) 50 resonance skill+20 resonance libration (2nd star) 100 dodge counter (3rd star)
@JAYGURUDEVMFG that still would favor Resonators like Danjin who has quick animations, spams Resonance Skills and relatively fast Liberation charges. Also in general sounds really time consuming at those quantities, but i see what you mean.
I still cant 30/30 TOA after all this time
Pure luck if your FTP account gets the right pulls/rolls. It's still a PTW environment for a few more months when average (pulls and rolls) FTP players have things to compete with.
it will be much easier when you reach 90lvl
@@formal9571 im lvl 90 already. Problem is im on mobile. It's hard on mobile for me
@@Prodigal450 Important main dps are all lvl 90 for every tower? or the sub-dps at least at lvl 70/80? is your main dps weap lvl 90 and have skills at 8 at least?
That's how time gated ToA is, don't bother with FOMO of not clearing it 30/30 if you're mostly F2P or F2P fully.
@@haruusami1831 my mains are rover, changli, jinhsi, jiyan, and chixia. I havent touched encore at all. All of them are 80 except rover jinhsi and changli because i just made it to 60 3 days ago

but my dumbass will just do what i do best
Hit that good shit
"Haruka mirai intensifies!!" 🤣🤣
And they're nerfing it because someone is crying.
I love the game embraced the way of using more teams than just only 2 strongest teams. But the amount of resource needed to upgrade a character is too much, especially material to upgrade weapon, char exp and finally money
Nah... I mean it's good, about the same as spiral abyss but if you say it's the best among the all gacha games I'd say it doesn't even come close.
This is 3rd failure and succes comparison from you
Me on mobile can only do 26 stars at best. It's just so hard to parry and dodge in mobile.
Type “What the hell is wuthering waves” theres a cc in need of slander
Coba bandingkan grafik di keduanya. Karakter Dan dunia nya
All I see is spyral abyss with extra steps, and equipment sharing, unless you only pull for characters of the same element/weapon type (which the game cleary discourage you to do considering bosses have elemental resistances) is not that useful most of the time
I haven't played genshin in a while but does spiral abyss have restriction?
can't alter equipments once used, cant change teams, 1 time use per char essentially.
