funny enough each talent lvl between both games is about 7.5% ttl increase per lvl inbetween both genshin and wuwa. so if your only paying attention to only the difference between lvls them self, its the same. but the cost indeed is significantly different. but the one that always is the big issue i see with these both is always the stamina limited mats always being the problem, not the other costs.
weekly boss is not an issue imo, people keep complaining that mats drop too slow in the game, but it will all go away with time and it is better to have some goal long term to max out characters and stuff instead to do everything week one of a character release
I don’t see the difference honestly. Wuwa gives you big increases while leveling your “talents”, whereas Genshin gives them via ascension passives. Both are level gated and both come without direct resin/waveplate costs since with wuwa you’re going to be leveling your entire tree anyway and Genshin again just gives them with ascensions which you’re also going to do anyway. I think Kuro just did a really good job of making it feel different, it genuinely translates to the same thing
And that’s also why you can’t just make apples to apples comparisons like this, because it’s disingenuous. Kinda like those that say echo farming is free when it’s not, sure you can obtain base echoes by farming without waveplate cost, but you still need seals and tuners and both of those have direct waveplate costs, the cost just factors in later on in the leveling process.
there are still significant differences though. no rng on weekly bosses is a big one, as well as time gated talent domains. those are just outdated and ass. also, generally, straight up multiplier increases are more valuable than an ascension passive. wuwa does also have stat increase talents, similar to hsr, though they are far less significant than ascension passives. higher multipliers also scale better with stronger supports, since there isnt really anyone who can buff motion value in either game.
@@aarushi2740 the rng for weeklies is irrelevant considering with min drops from Genshin at max level on both games it takes the same amount of time to level. Time gated talent domains is a weird complaint imo, even with extreme horizontal investment this never poses any real issue in farming. I mean I guess it’s a tiny improvement. And no, multipliers aren’t generally “more valuable” than ascension passives, nor do they scale better with stronger supports over integrated passives. That’s such a bad take I almost didn’t bother responding to it lol.
@@Kota-sk8sl i dont get your first point? the rng makes it so that you can go weeks without the right material or dream solvents. i dont understand how that takes the same amount of time. time gated domains dont really matter that much for overall farming, but it is incredibly annoying and a stupid feature. and yes, higher multipliers scale better than passives. every other stat will have diminishing returns at some point since there will be supports buffing said stats. but motion value, unless wuwa ends up doing something pretty strange, just doesnt get buffed directly. ideally you want higher multipliers over increased stats. i could be wrong, but genshin’s ascension stats are just normal % buffs, they dont actually add to the base attack/hp/def. feel free to correct me if im wrong. either way, genshins talents take way more investment and rng, for a far less significant increase.
@@aarushi2740 you don’t get my first point because you don’t actually play genshin, you’re just regurgitating nonsense. I have legitimately leveled every character and their talents fully and I have a solid 50+ solvents just sitting in storage for the next new char I decide to level. They drop like candy. It takes the same amount of time. No, higher multipliers do not scale better than ascension passives, in any way. I have c3 neuvi, his c3 gives nothing but straight multiplier increases and it isn’t even close to the dps increase he gets from his draconic stack passive. Or Hu tao getting almost an entire free artifact main stat worth of pyro dmg bonus from hers. I can provide plenty more examples (literally every char in genshin) but you get the idea probably. Weekly boss mats my biggest bottleneck in game like what use of these gold of mine if I don't have weekly boss mats lol. 3 weeks to max character in here (in worst case drops of weekly boss mats and that is if you level 10 all of it) in which what one banner will last. So I heard that there's a rare instances that it drops 4, so that's where the surplus comes in. So my plan for now is leave other characters fortes at 6. And some main dps intro at 8, this will give me mats for other characters. Seriously, forgery mats and credits isn't a problem if I'm gated every week on weekly boss mats lol.
Awesome video! But I gotta say this, the music was a bit too loud compared to your voice. It did kinda made me think a little (the video, not the music), cuz I'm slowly getting resource starved, which felt a bit weird, since I got used to having a lot of mora in Genshin all the time, but it kinda hit me mid-video that Wuwa doesn't require that much, I just haven't upgraded my characters in ages, so I always have mora...
That's what i always say all the time, since the release of then game. Wuwa has so much better material system than genshin. I don't know how but i maxed out my jinshi, rover, yinlin to max(means literally everything max) and encore, calcaro, and verina on 80 with everything max as per lv 80. There is no problem with material at all. And about the weekly bosse, it's just that we have a lot of characters to build right now, after we get to the point where most of our characters are build and maxed out. We're less likely to face boss drop issue as we'll only only one character to focus at a time.
I only crowned a couple of talents in genshin, for my most best dps - Alhaitham E and Ayaka burst and honestly felt no difference. It was just for completion feel, to finish their top damage talents.
the dmg increase from each level of talent from genshin and wuwa are almost the same 5-10% the crowns in genshin are limited, are are usually saved for charas u really like. (people crown useless talents to show how much that love that chara) the only benefit for wuwa is that u can farm same weekly multiple times a week, and the mats required seem cheaper.
WuWa's higher talents are stacked. I want more boss drops per week though. At UL 59, I'm levelling Jiyan, Mortefi and Baizhi (my main team) and they all want bells from the Bell Bourne Geocochelone (big turtle boss). So, it feels really crappy when I only get 2 boss materials (bells) on a clear because now I just have to wait until next week just to do the talents for ONE character. I'm hoping that UL 60 is better and I'm told it's a guarantee of 4 boss materials each time, which should make it go faster. because it's been over 2.5 months of WuWa and not having anyone at level 90 or level 10 talents yet is pretty demoralizing. It's actually why I am going to not pull for anyone in 1.2 or 1.3 (I hear Xiangli Yao is free) because I want to build all the characters I have, and I literally have them all and want to play them all... but building them, god damn, it's going to take all year at this rate. **I know Void Enigma did a video on that point - it gets easier when we hit max level for boss drops, etc. I'm just saying 3 months to get to max level is a long time.

The combat feels flashy and cool, but fighting anything feels like a slog and a chore. It's ruining the game for me. I feel just as weak as I was when I started
the biggest problem for me with upgrading talents or weapons in wuwa is the echo material farming. these mfs droprate is the worst i have ever seen. people who like to farm in open world may not have a problem with the terrible drop rate but i am.. too lazy. lol yes, you need tons of weekly boss material in wuwa and its expensive but i personally dont mind. compared to the material drop rate from echos its not nearly as bad. 😭
Coming from playing Genshin for 4 years, WuWa seems similar enough as to not warrant this video. The one thing that really sucked about the Genshin leveling system was crowns. I'm glad they don't exist in WuWa. They honestly made no sense whatsoever. All I know is I have the battle pass, and Im still super broke in Wuwa. However, I do feel like things won't be so bad once all my core resonators are fully leveled. I also do feel like that will happen a bit faster than it did in Genshin.
I hated that miniscule gain from lvl 9 to 10 in genshin. Eula was the first I crowned talents for and it just felt meh. The real increase for practically all genshin characters is constellations. crowning talents is just the cherry on top. Makes me warry about going thst far for talents, but since im seeing here its an actually great increase maxing a wuwa talent.

I play both HSR and WuWa. I'm pretty happy with HSR's system as well, but its Trace system is a lot like Genshin where there's a lot of deminishing returns going from Lv.8 to Lv 10. Personally, most of my characters' talents I leave at Lv.8 since I don't feel like maxing them out is worth the effort. It wasn't until recently when I started getting a lot of surplus from pre-farming mats that I started maxing out some Traces, but never all of them, just 1 or 2 of favorite characters. However, I think the best thing about HSR is that if you don't max out everything, you get to save a lot of Credits so they're no longer an issue for me, whereas WuWa needs credits for a lot of stuff, not just their fortes, and we don't get enough credits to build characters quickly.
@@technicalleon Main problem I have with wuwa is the need of those materials that exiles drop for example, I run out quickly out of them Starrail doesn’t have that problem

funny enough each talent lvl between both games is about 7.5% ttl increase per lvl inbetween both genshin and wuwa. so if your only paying attention to only the difference between lvls them self, its the same. but the cost indeed is significantly different. but the one that always is the big issue i see with these both is always the stamina limited mats always being the problem, not the other costs.
Ayo Brown Dust 2 call out!
A fellow coultured soul I see😌
weekly boss is not an issue imo, people keep complaining that mats drop too slow in the game, but it will all go away with time and it is better to have some goal long term to max out characters and stuff instead to do everything week one of a character release
Your argument about diminishing returns is nonsense. Wait, LOL I just realized you’re talking about the ascension stat increases. Are you serious?
Fear of crowns? I cant get rid of them fast enogh. I picked up all of them in game with events and still gota get rid out of 3.
But i only lvl characters i like so...
That's the way to do it. :)
I did the opposite where I levelled everyone (I have 65 characters) to level 90, level 8 talents, and a level 90 weapons. I share artifacts but those are level +20, and 5*. . ... and it's not what I recommend to people. It takes forever. I like that I can play anyone I want, but let's be honest the Xinyan's of my account never see any field time.
@@Bullminator right lol it’s so funny seeing players with ambers normal attack crowned (or some other similarly moronic talent) and then complaining there aren’t enough crowns. I full clear everything in the game and I think I have 6 crowns in my box waiting on another character worth using them on lol.
But you also have to remember that 2 more lvls of skills are locked behind cons. Genshin they literally locked ur skill upgrades behind cons lmao and the cap is at 15 which u cant reach ofc. Wuwa has no bs like that : /
You deserve a sub broh!
I’d reckon they would do an event which will increase weekly boss limit to 1 per day, for 2 weeks mb
I honestly enjoy the forte system as I do feel a noticeable power increase as I invest more and more into it! I can comfortably run around with my high forte Chixia and still feel powerful! What would yall consider "good enough" forte in Wuwa?
Here sitting on 20 crowns atm... Bored afk of genshin impact
Yeah, it's really good ngl😌
I only crowned a couple of talents in genshin, for my most best dps - Alhaitham E and Ayaka burst and honestly felt no difference. It was just for completion feel, to finish their top damage talents.
the dmg increase from each level of talent from genshin and wuwa are almost the same 5-10%
the crowns in genshin are limited, are are usually saved for charas u really like. (people crown useless talents to show how much that love that chara)
the only benefit for wuwa is that u can farm same weekly multiple times a week, and the mats required seem cheaper.
I'm just saying 3 months to get to max level is a long time.
if ur a day 1 player that login everyday since without capping waveplates, should be able to reach ul 60 rn.
@@eagan912 I'm close. UL 59, and like 7,000 more XP to go. I started on day 3, so I agree with your math on where I should be. :)
@@John_II oh cool, i was a day 2 coz got lingyang and kinda rerolled last minute lmao. Already at 61 rn coz i use my waveplates
@@eagan912 Good job on the reroll. :) I concur.
I got Jianxin and Calcharo, so I just kept my account. Used my guarantee for Verina, and then thanks to RNGesus, somehow I got Lingyang and Encore later. :P
@@John_II got encore at the beginner 50, selected verina. Somehow lost 50/50 when pulling jihnsi. So now at S1 for both encore and verina xd
It really feels like no matter what I do, I hit like a wet noodle. I do no damage at all. Foe my current SOL3 phase I have a max level character. Max level weapon with max refinement, max level talents, and fairly decent echoes.
And i still do like a maximum of 50 damage per basic attack. The combat feels flashy and cool, but fighting anything feels like a slog and a chore. It's ruining the game for me. I feel just as weak as I was when I started
No crowns limits 😅 for 10lvl
i never crowned a single character in genshin 💀
too much work
At ul 60 there rare chance u get 4 materials not only that boss ascension material drop 4-5
the biggest problem for me with upgrading talents or weapons in wuwa is the echo material farming. these mfs droprate is the worst i have ever seen. people who like to farm in open world may not have a problem with the terrible drop rate but i am.. too lazy. lol yes, you need tons of weekly boss material in wuwa and its expensive but i personally dont mind. compared to the material drop rate from echos its not nearly as bad.
Makes me warry about going thst far for talents, but since im seeing here its an actually great increase maxing a wuwa talent.
last time i checked GI has a limit of 3 weekly boss runs, did they remove that limit? Because after the third weekly boss in GI rewards were not claimable.
Owya....Genshin have Crown for max talent 😅
That thing i used only on 1 character 😂
Well everything okay it just farm take kinda long haha
How is your Changli's crit rate is 78% Is it from the buff or pure luck on the Echoes?
78 is doable from double crit in all 5 echo need a few high rolls doe
I have 81% crit on Changli. I spent alot to minmax her. Every echo has double crit and two of them have a very high roll.
@@VoidEnigma dayum, so luck is really deciding factor huh, thanks
@@FreaLuuv always has been in gacha games lol
@@VoidEnigma I farm since her release and didn't get a single double crit echo still. The rng is cursed, she only has two double crits taken away from Encore
One Question , Crit rate or Crit Damage , What's the difference and which one should i Upgrade???
Crit damage is more damage
Crite rate is the chance to get that damage
In wuwa You need atleast 60 to 70 Crit rate and in Crit damage you need 250 to 300
😂 bahahaha their weekly boss in G game can be farmed only 1/1 hahaha 😂
in wutheringwaves 😂 we can farm it 3/3 😂 per week
hey, can you give the website name that you look for damage multiplier please?
Sure thing! ww.hakush.in/
@@VoidEnigma thanks a lot 😁
I think HSR has better talent system
@@technicalleon Main problem I have with wuwa is the need of those materials that exiles drop for example, I run out quickly out of them
Starrail doesn’t have that problem
Yeah HSR and ZZZ, plus other gacha games have a better system just for the fact that I don't have to run around the map to pick for flowers/materials. Hunting for exile mats reminds me of the times I used to hunt for Ayaka and Raiden mats 😭
@@hizu1551 you can have infinite if you play on other worlds...
It takes more time but you can get more.
HSR has the golden balls problem...
Like I still have shortage of the balls even after playing for a year.
ahh wuthering wave issues can solve if they increase the drop of every rewards .
UL60 = AR 50
well in genshin you need crown and boss material. That if bos drop the material you want otherwise you need to wait next week.
Also ngl but wuwa sucks your money like crazy. For me, a genshin veteran it's such a breath of fresh air that I actually have to farm something instead of just getting a character, slapping my 3 yo artifacts on them and getting top 2% on akasha
best talent system? lol
Bruh that's not Weathering! That's Wuthering waves ! At least pronounce the name of the game correctly!
But I always have pronounced it correctly? 00:08

Not from Events only iirc
