    It’s crazy with the gas connection way underneath. It shows the ones designing them, don’t use them, lol. I think it’s great you’re doing reviews because as you do, you find things they could improve, excellent!

    I like the batteries boxed in that clear box. If you think about it, if they put it in the pass through, it’s subject to getting bumped as you load stuff. Not good with hot battery connections. Thanks

    Good tour Peggy and Tony. We love our 2021 model. Just wish it had come with solar. What brand coffee mugs are those? They look small enough to fit in our truck cup holders.

    The pizza stone that was inside our 2017 25KS/2503 does not fit in our 2024 25FKS/2506. Depth wise that is. So it's definitely shallower.

    Tony & Peggy, thanks for the tour. it was nice to see the lithium power package. Also, I didn't realize the TV was a 12 volt unit, at least they have a 120 volt outlet nearby for a future TV change. agree with Peggy, the slide overhead cabinet doors would be better if they hinged from the bottom. Overall Love our 2021 2205s, Glad we picked right from the beginning. Are you both attending FROG rally in August? Thanks for sharing! Tony

    Love the changes you made with the shower and the slide out. Do you feel you have more room in the bathroom and shower with the curtain? I would like to take out the sofa to and make it into a mini office. So weird question... when you say you "worked with Rockwood" is there a location specifically? I am assuming it isn't at a local dealer like camping world, is that correct? If so, can you give me some more details about how to work with Rockwood and get these modifications? Thanks in advance!

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We are brand ambassadors for Rockwood so we work directly with them on some things.
      I don't know if it would be possible to use "normal channels" to accomplish this quite honestly.
      But you can also just do these things yourself. I was able to take out the theater seats in our first 2205s and then remove the shower doors as well. They were both relatively straightforward projects.
      As for more room, I just prefer a shower curtain to a large piece of glass. It feels about the same I guess in terms of roominess and the glass offers more light than the curtain we chose.

    We are looking at this model camper. This is the first one that I have seen that has the power package. I would love that, because we boondock a lot. I know that package has to be expensive. Do you remember about how much that package added to the price? Just a ball park price. Great video.

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly since we work directly with Rockwood I don't have a retail price listing. Your local Rockwood or Flagstaff dealership would be the one to turn to for this.
      I have seen few of these on the lot so it may be a special order but, if you're into boondocking, it's a game changer in so many ways.

      Great choice and welcome to the family!
      There are a couple of companies that make windshield covers. We have one from a company called YB Outdoors and have been completely pleased with it. There's a new company that we've seen that now also makes custom covers (but we can't remember the name - darnit).

    Hello Peggy and Tony:)Great video! we just purchased our first ever trailer. Newbies to the max! We got a 2023 Mini lite 2506S. It has the same panel you have. Would you please tell me when and how do I use the "electric" button?

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure I totally understand. Perhaps you're referring to the electric water heater control?
      If so, first of all purge the system of all the air that gets into it by running a hot faucet until it stops "spurting." Once you have a steady flow from a hot tap then use the electric side of the water heater.
      Essentially we use the electric function on the water heater when we have full hook-ups such as at an RV park. Otherwise we use the propane function instead.
      We hope you enjoy your new trailer as much as we enjoy ours. We've certainly already gotten a lifetime of use out of it and we're just starting.

    Tony and Peggy, thank you for the walk through, nice unit can't wait to see you at the Q. We like the idea of the new roller blind on the front window, we would like to swap ours out, by chance do you know the manufacture and color Rockwood uses? TIA

      We made a video on how to repair the roller blinds and mention the name, it slips my mind now. Also wanted to share what we do for the front window, use a piece of Reflectix insulation... (mylar foil bubble wrap looking stuff you get at Home Depot) We cut a piece to fit the front window, it was the best mod as Tina likes to sleep in total darkness. Hope this helps...

    Nice tour! We have the 2022 model, and really love it. I"ve got two 100 AH lead acid batteries, and 270 watts of solar panels, which don't go real far, especially with the 12V fridge running. It will keep up with everything else if Im using the water heater in propane mode. Actually wish I I had the 3-way fridge that I had in my RPod.Two questions: does your system keep up with your 12V fridge? Do you know if I'd have to make any changes (charger, inverter, etc) to upgrade to lithium batteries? Thanks for your vids.

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ours has the Power Package so there's 1,000 watts of solar and a 400 ah lithium battery. It has no trouble with the fridge and I can even run the AC for 4-6 hours on it.
      On a 2022 Mini Lite you could drop in a single lithium battery and have as much power as you have with the two lead acid batteries. I believe your converter is already lithium-aware so you'd be set. You'll also drop a bunch of tongue weight with lithium batteries as they are much lighter and require no maintenance.

    • @jlantz3691
      @jlantz3691 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StressLessCamping Thanks for that. I was thinking I could, and obviously will double-check with a tech to be sure, but yeah, for a lot of reasons lithium is the way to go. And prices are getting more and more affordable. Thanks again!

    What do you do for the garbage can? No place under the sink or anywhere in the kitchen for that matter

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We got a small can that we put right in front of the access door to the water heater (under the pantry door in the kitchen). This can is small enough that we use grocery bags as liners. It also helps protect the cabinets from the bathroom door, although there is a spring there that does that as well.

      The handle and brush came from Almost Heaven Microfiber. It’s called Mr. Long Arm. Here is their website: almostheavenproducts.com/microfiber-products.html
      The “U” shaped attachment is called the RV Slideout Sweep and we have details on that here: www.stresslesscamping.com/blog/2021/4/4/rv-slideout-sweep-keep-your-slide-roof-clean

    Nice. Was looking at the same camper. What is your typical tongue weight loaded? Thanks again.

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  ปีที่แล้ว

      We actually had our trailer professionally weighed so they weighed each wheel individually plus the trailer on and off the truck. The load was pretty typical of how we travel.
      We actually have a podcast episode about this where we also share the results of having been weighed here: www.stresslesscamping.com/podcast/0168

    Where do you put a trash can for kitchen and other day to day waste?

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have a small trash can that we can use grocery bags in that sits under the pantry right in front of the cabinet for the water heater.
      Bonus - since it uses grocery bags we have quite a stack of those and it's never a lot of trash. At those campgrounds that pick up your trash it's even more convenient.

    the front window shade should be black , we have a 2022 model .

    • @StressLessCamping

      But why should it be black? That would attract more heat. We specifically chose the gray one to match some of those swoosh stickers and the gray along the lower portion of the trailer.

    Great walk-through! And nice hacks! Do you have a hack for being able to sit in the slide when it's "in"? I've heard you can't put any weight in the slide when it's in, but there will be times I can't extend the slide, but I'd still like to sit in the theater seat. Thanks!

    • @StressLessCamping
      @StressLessCamping  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We honestly don't use the slide room when it's not deployed. We have heard that it can cause misalignment so we avoid it.
