The Yamaha Can't Handle Me - Broome Tioga 2019 NYOA Round 3

  • What started out looking great turned into a muddy battle zone in the woods. These types of races are my absolute favorite - super miserable woods, but then some grass track to catch your breath. The problem was... I wasn't catching my breathe!
    Still had fun despite the "issue" in the end. Some work needs to be done!

    Another great video, Zach. I find yours to be the most entertaining dirt biking channel on TH-cam. Great attitude. Fun and dorky. I am 45 years old and will be entering my first harescramble race ever, later this season, after 20 years without a dirt bike. Thanks for the inspiration and showing us that it is more fun if you don't take yourself too seriously.

      whoa. i'm 46 and have been w/o a dirt bike for exactly 20 years, too. also... planning to enter my first race later this season. agree with the rest, too. small world. cheers.

    The bike sounds really over geared and flat in the power department.Need to get two more teeth on the back sprocket and hammer the ignition/fuel app.

    • @braapmoto9268

      Yes higher rear sprocket teeth means more low end torque. Therefore zack you can get the 4 stroke faster in shorter amount of time

      Braap Moto yeah but that also destroys your top end speed. Personally ive always found 13-50 to work best everywhere for more aggressive riders. Maybe 14-51 too.

      This is a good trick while the bike is running with clutch pulled in rev the bike a few times and shut it off never letting the clutch out till flag drops and bike starts this will help clean oil off the plates allows less drag when u spin motor over

  • @gabewilliams5993
    @gabewilliams5993 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    In mud that isn’t “developed” I like to try to rip my front end up. It helps reduce drag on the front tire and makes it easier to get traction and get moving.

    Wow. That is odd to see a modern chain snap like that. You were getting it done overall though. I liked how those guys would sprint away,then somehow you would always wind back up in front of them. Good stuff. Bet you would have made a top 10 finish if you could have gotten the last lap in.
