He and Eddie bonded somewhat there, and whereas everyone wants to adopt a baby, I think it's a lot harder to find a good foster home for a much older child. Plus, Chris would have a foster brother!

I can't help having hope, especially when I rewatch their scenes. there's way too many hints everywhere that there's something more than just a strong friendship or bond. especially in the way they look at each other. even if it wasn't a two-way thing, Buck definitely!!!!!!!!!!!!!! has some sort of feelings for Eddie. no fucking doubt about that.

God this line is just brilliant 😍😭 A lot of people think about "oh, you started ship them just because you see two handsome guys and they must be definitely gay", but actually no, there's more than these commonplace things. I like that people can grasp this fine line by looking beyond "it is just a strong friendship and nothing else" assuming that it can grow into something more. There are no rules that you can meet your man, even if you never thought about this and didn't realize it in your mind that it might turn out to be. Perhaps this is just a the viewer's fantasy and nothing really happens, but I see that the creators leave the opportunity for such hints, making ambiguous situations and manifestations of certain emotions and action between these characters. And to be honest, I love watching this development of events and that they are kept them at a distance by tempting and teasing fans, because it is much more interesting than just an obvious gay couple in any show, where there is no intrigue and everything is very superficial.
I don't think anyone would deny there is chemistry between these too that comes across as sexual tension. I don't think that kind of chemistry can be part of acting. It's either there or it's not. I think the question is whether or not that tension manifests itself sexually.

The writers are taking the viewers down the beautiful path that a family isn't always defined by the traditional man and woman husband and wife arrangement. These men are being skillfully portrayed as being emotional, caring, protective, nurturing, loving, vulnerable, strong, and empathetic. This mashup of scenes is the best I've seen. The story is being told, and I'm loving it. It's not the destination but the journey that makes it worthwhile. Got to admit these videos dare the emotions to make me cry that I'll never have that kind of love. Great work with the editing.

They’ve had so many moments where they could’ve proved that they were just friends and gave more time and focus on eddie and ana/Shannon or buck and Taylor/Ali or if they brought back Abby but nothing? Every important aspect of their lives are filled by the other.... I just can’t imagine them having their own families even if ana and Taylor are in the picture? Also the writers must know what they’re doing with these tropes? Enemies to lovers, workplace romance, saying I love you without saying I love you, love interest replacement (Abby leaves and Eddie shows up), best friends to lovers, everyone knows it but them, co parenting, Jesus Christ I could go on forever. And to the people saying “it’s about time there’s a healthy male friendship in media.... I’d put money on the fact that there have been more shipped male friends that have remained close friends than friendships that ended up as lovers. If I’m being honest, I could see one of them growing feelings for the other but the other doesn’t swing that way. It would be a great tension point for a plot and mega realistic because so many gay people have that one friend that they wish could be something more... Then we try to be honest and it makes things awkward. It tests the friendship but if they’re a true friend we both can move on and still be friends
I don't *want* this to happen, the last thing Buck deserves is more heartbreak, but I can see it happening. It seems to me that the "ride or die" stuff that implies romantic feelings has been mostly on Buck's side. When Eddie was trapped down the well and when he got shot, Buck panicked in a way he's never done with anyone else, not even when Maddie was kidnapped. He was absolutely terrified of losing Eddie. But we've yet to see the same reaction from Eddie to Buck being in peril. So it's possible that Eddie loves Buck, but only Buck is *in love* with Eddie. And it would be realistic too, as stated in the original comment. But hey, hope springs eternal! We're not giving up until one of them is said to be definitively heterosexual or the show ends. 😄
Nah, not that this isn't realistic or anything, but this just wouldn't be all that interesting to watch. The show has continuously amped up their relationship specifically and for them to backpedal into this would feel like a downgrade. They are clearly building up to *something*. I get what you mean by many gay people relating to it, but as a gay man myself, I don't really watch shows to relive that experience. Not to mention the fact that they would piss a looooooooot of people off xD (Side note, I'm so over the need to make lgbt characters go through heartbreak/trauma every 10 seconds, can we just have ONE couple that we see all the time *coughbuckandeddieeventually* that can just have some kind of peace and be a regular ass couple?!)

!!! This was amazing!!! I love that you used Bobby's line about getting into a relationship with a complicated situation and being there for the significant other, instead of saving them from it. It's what Buck is doing, being there for Eddie and Chris. And at the very beginning offering Carla's help but not meddling or judging Eddie's parenting choices. Also the line "you don't find it, son. You make it". If Buddie ever becomes canon and if they use it in the show for them i'm gonna explode This was an amazing video. This is the best video I've seen of their relationship. You somehow managed to captured it in such a brilliant way; you tied everything together with all the parallels and even the lyrics of the song. I've always thought their story is about belonging, about finding your family, your soulmate even, the person who will be your partner in life forever - and that's what they are, the three of them, even more than a family if that even exists. Ok sorry but if they don’t make it canon then I seriously don’t understand why. They’ve had so many moments where they could’ve proved that they were just friends and gave more time and focus on eddie and ana/Shannon or buck and Taylor/Ali or if they brought back Abby but nothing? Every important aspect of their lives are filled by the other.... I just can’t imagine them having their own families even if ana and Taylor are in the picture?
Also the writers must know what they’re doing with these tropes? Enemies to lovers, workplace romance, saying I love you without saying I love you, love interest replacement (Abby leaves and Eddie shows up), best friends to lovers, everyone knows it but them, co parenting, Jesus Christ I could go on forever.
And to the people saying “it’s about time there’s a healthy male friendship in media.... I’d put money on the fact that there have been more shipped male friends that have remained close friends than friendships that ended up as lovers. Off the top of my head - Morgan and Reid, steve and Bucky, Sherlock and Watson, Scott and styles etcetc. Those were friendships, this is not

If I’m being honest, I could see one of them growing feelings for the other but the other doesn’t swing that way. It would be a great tension point for a plot and mega realistic because so many gay people have that one friend that they wish could be something more... Then we try to be honest and it makes things awkward. It tests the friendship but if they’re a true friend we both can move on and still be friends

I don't *want* this to happen, the last thing Buck deserves is more heartbreak, but I can see it happening. It seems to me that the "ride or die" stuff that implies romantic feelings has been mostly on Buck's side. When Eddie was trapped down the well and when he got shot, Buck panicked in a way he's never done with anyone else, not even when Maddie was kidnapped. He was absolutely terrified of losing Eddie. But we've yet to see the same reaction from Eddie to Buck being in peril.
So it's possible that Eddie loves Buck, but only Buck is *in love* with Eddie. And it would be realistic too, as stated in the original comment. But hey, hope springs eternal! We're not giving up until one of them is said to be definitively heterosexual or the show ends. 😄
Nah, not that this isn't realistic or anything, but this just wouldn't be all that interesting to watch. The show has continuously amped up their relationship specifically and for them to backpedal into this would feel like a downgrade. They are clearly building up to *something*. I get what you mean by many gay people relating to it, but as a gay man myself, I don't really watch shows to relive that experience.
Not to mention the fact that they would piss a looooooooot of people off xD
(Side note, I'm so over the need to make lgbt characters go through heartbreak/trauma every 10 seconds, can we just have ONE couple that we see all the time *coughbuckandeddieeventually* that can just have some kind of peace and be a regular ass couple?!)
