Thanks for the video! How do you make it so round and fluffy? Mine came out pretty flat. Do I have to use a lot of wool, and not felt it too tightly? Could I use a mixture of carded wool and roving?
I used alot of wool at the start and really forced it in, I don't use roving and tops together unless I card the roving myself, roving and tops I use as top coats mainly x

If I make a large heart, can I somehow put lettering on the one side? I’m wanting to make on for the bride and groom, with their name and wedding date, but I don’t know how to do the lettering. Any advice would be appreciated.
If it's large enough I would use prefelt and cut out the letters and felt on. If you need it smaller, try a wool yarn that felts and maybe shape it into letters or try sewing it but this can be tricky, hope it goes well xx
May I ask what size needle you are using in this video?
I think it's a 36 triangle gauge, needs to be quite big so it doesn't break if you hit the cookie cutter x

Can you make video on how to needle felt tiny details
I have done one on needle felting animal faces and you have to be gentle with the fine lines and around the eyes, take a look at that maybe, and a fine needle will help too x

Got to watch your needles on the cookie cutters moms makers does all cookie cutter designs ....not a fan.
So long as you point downwards at 90 degrees to the mat it's absolutely fine, cutters are a really safe way to start as you are less likely to stab yourself, thanks for watching x
