I know we're getting up there; but I went with the Polygon Siskiu T8 last year, because the fork upgrade to the Fox 34 is nearly worth the extra funds by itself. Now add on the Fox Float DPS shock and all of the SLX drivetrain; and it's SO worth the investment from the T7 to the T8. But, they are *both* a heck of a deal. The T8 at the time of this writing is ONLY $2,100! That's $200 less than I paid for mine a year ago! Crazy good price for that machine.
Just received my T8 for $2099 with a $50 off coupon and used my credit card for $200 back cash offer. Then I’m paying it off with in a few payments at 0% interest. I’m glad I waited for the sale. Thanks Kevin for the great reviews. Keep the videos going ❤
A truly complete and competent mountain bike that can be ridden on any trail out of the box. Great value, no upgrades required and meets the current standards, what's not to like?
Looks cool, I'm interested in demoing a Polygon hardtail, lower end full sus & higher end like the T7 & also comparing 27.5 & 29 wheels, would be great if Bicycles Online in Australia could do this, only have a 90s style bike with no suspension etc. Kudos to the trail sponsorship 🤟
Very nicely equipped bike for its price. However, it is over $500, a bit hard for cheapos like me to swallow it, all at once. And I don't have an official ledge x1, but do a x2, fully built, it is a very capable FS xc bike...
This "for you" default sorting option sucks when I look at the video tab. I know it's not your fault but it's creating extra steps in finding your newest videos. Love you videos btw!

Fort me, it was down between the T8 and a Mythique. At the time, the T8 won because of the shorter shipping time, all Fox suspension, stock tires, the SLX drivetrain and the purdy color for a couple hundred dollars less. It was tough because the Mythique came with a Marizocci fork that was super sick, but like a crummy O2 shock.
It's a cool bike. I just don't and won't have the funds to be buying one of those bikes for a long time. By the time I can drop $2000 on a bicycle , I will be to old to ride!
Just FYI, when I said I would set money on fire before donating to a non-profit, that wasn't a swing at you. I don't believe or have any reason to believe you are running a grift.
1,500 bucks buys full carbon fiber ENDURO BIKES if you build it yourself in 2023. A 6061 ENDURO competition frame is 250 bucks, but you have to buy 2. This price is ridiculous.
@@playgroundchooser You can actually build a COMPETITION enduro bike with a 160mm fork that rakes out to 64 or 63 degrees with CARBON FIBER wheels for easily under 1,600 bucks if you know what to buy. The frame says 2,5 tire size but 2.6s apparently fit this frame. They actually do sell two frames for 255 bucks apiece, but you could easily flip the other frame.

The more successful it is, the bigger it gets. Then it needs people, and so it grows. There is a WORLD of difference between a few people volunteering their time for a cause and the typical non-profit.

@@playgroundchooser MY MISTAKE. THE ENDURO FRAMES ARE 350 BUCKS APIECE, but its modern ENDURO spec geometry that accepts a 210mm rear shock.

Nonprofits are a grift. There is not a single one that isn't. I would sooner set money on fire than give it to a charity/non-profit.
