Bazz B’s abilities definitely could have been shown more. Kubo should have given him a more unique design for his vollstandig. He would look so sick with Phoenix like flame wings. Part 2 of the anime might actually show a fight between him and renji or maybe even him and shinji
It's sad that just a few Sternritter got actual transformations or creative forms. PEPE got a named Vollstandig, but not Bazz-B, the Quincy who wanted to kill Yhwach over a hundred of years

It's interesting how his ability and it's devastating effects would not be out of place in modern human warfare. It's like taking a special ops squad with their weapons/equipment and unleashing them upon fudeal age Samurai, right up to the shock of the Shinigami at their comrade's sudden gory deaths. That's exactly what happened in the Bleach verse with the TYBW, Soul Society is still reeling from it.
Yeah I don't think the surviving quincies will show their faces for a long time after the war. The quincies that survived the war all went into hiding. Smart move. Because a majority of the shinigami sure as hell are still pissed off. The quincy did some messed up stuff. The Arrancars and fullbringers didn't cause anywhere near the amount of destruction and death the quincies had. And the quincies are the reason the worlds are unbalanced currently. Not to mention the arrancars and fullbringers were a huge help during the war. The hollow pills and other stuff. So they can be forgiven. Yeah bazz b, liltotto, and Giselle all turned on yhwach and so helped the shinigami reach the soul palace but that is only because he betrayed them. And they also made it clear they were not friends and parted after helping them reach the soul palace. Also the arrancars got kisuke and ichigo that would vouch for them. The fullbringers to.

If there's a silver lining to all this it's that Soul Society has reformed to a degree with Shunsui, he is specifically working with a reformist named Nayura Amakado and strongly agrees with her mantra that they need to be and do better than in the past. Spurning the old hardliners and their exclusionary policies he has expanded Gotei 13 forces while also providing jobs and social welfare to the Rukon's worst sections. The war changed everything and everyone.
I really like Bazz B's abilities the burner fingers. There are definitely a lot more things that can be done in the anime to enhance their fame and I can't wait to see them in action in the anime.

I've always felt that Bazz B was going to be The Grimmjow equivalent for Ichigo.
Imo, one of the biggest flaw of TWBY was the lack of enemy that feels personal to Ichigo like Renji, Byakuya, Grimjow, and Ulquiorra did. As a result it felt like he was just “there” for most of the arc without strong presence. Even with the revelation of old man Zangetsu’s connection with Yhwach, it didn’t lead into more personal relationship between him and Yhwach.
Bazz-B is one of the better Sternritters when looking at the whole package. He's a got a solid design, fun personality, cool and potent fire powers and an interesting backstory that puts him at odds with his leaders while still fighting for his people. He just lacks a proper fight scene to really show off.
In the manga he does take on Rukia AND Renji after their training with Squad 0, which is quite impressive considering how they handled As Nodt and Mask De Masculine. But besides the opening blows that was completely off-screen. So if the anime is going to expand on any of his fights I hope it's that one. Not only does it give Bazz-B a chance to show off, but seeing Renji and Rukia fight together would be really cool too.
And hopefully he gets a better Holy Form. Two sticks from his back looked pretty damn lacklustre.
I think all Holy Forms look very silly and basic. Giving them colors won’t change that.

@DBZimran, One detail you overlooked about Burner Finger 4 is that it vaporizes (and cuts) its surroundings, including large sections of the solid objects that the heat or sword comes into contact as well, such as one of the large pillar within Silbern and another one when Bazz's arm was severed by Jugram. In this sense, it's similar to Yamamoto's bankai east and north ability. While the effects of Burning Full Fingers weren't shown, I surmise that it causes complete eradication of whatever crosses its path, judging by the scaling pattern set by Burner Finger 4 possessing heat that causes vaporization and Burner Finger 3 causes skeletonization (or liquidization of solid material like rocks or buildings) as he claims. Basically, the more fingers he uses, the hotter are his flames. Also, because Burning Full Fingers is a long-range ability consisting of five erected beams from all five fingers on one hand, it appears to be the "bankai" version of Burner Finger 1, in that it takes the piercing ability to a whole higher level and travels at ultra high speeds, just like its predecessor. Hypothetically, the heat it emits is so intense that it is made into a virtually unblockable attack, close to rivaling the X-axis schrift.
As far as where Bazz-B compares to the other Sternritter, I estimate him to be among the top 6-8. It's probably not a coincidence that he is among the final 6 Sternritters that were defeated and killed during final stretch of the arc that focused on the Schutzstaffel battles. I think this is an appropriate ranking because Bazz-B was set up coming in the second invasion as having flames capable of offsetting Ryujin Jakka, owned by the strongest captain for up to 1,000 years. I even go as far and say Bazz-B could stack up well against Gremmy. Gremmy even imagined lava at one point, and not only should Burner Finger 3 be more powerful, but he also has two even more powerful abilities that I can't see the stuff Gremmy was imagining (water cube, pillars, missiles, guns, steel skin, etc.) at first can really contest it until he summoned the Meteor.
Lastly, not to forget that Bazz-B also used his crossbow when fighting Jugram, and interestingly enough he summoned it after Burner Finger 1 and 2 were evaded. It really appeared that as the fight progressed he was using more powerful attacks, which would mean that his crossbow actually generates greater power than his two weakest Burner Fingers, which were capable of overpowering a captain using shikai. It's important to remember that while the Sternritter preferably uses their schrifts, it doesn't mean that their basic abilities are all lacking by comparison. Bazz-B in particular has had his crossbow for over 1,000 years before he became a Sternritter, so it stands to reason that it is quite powerful. A part of me believe that he even used his crossbow to take down Kira in the manga version, as the pulverization of one-third of his body isn't at all consistent to what is shown with a Burner Finger 1 on just about everyone else including a low level Quincy soldier. When it comes to the 3rd seat guy, the sound effect is more indicative of a physical attack rather than his head exploding from a fire beam, according to the Viz translation.

A question I have just now thought of after reading your explanation of burning full fingers, how did Jugram even get away from that attack? It looked like he used something similar to a flash step. From what we know he had no Quincy abilities of his own and he didn’t use his shift during the fight🤔
Yes, he used a Quincy equivalent of flash step called Hirenkyaku. His use of it is incredibly fast, as it appeared he was able to close the distance before Burning Full Fingers had the time to make contact with anything to show its effects.

One of the few abilities to cancel out Yamamoto's flames. Bazz B had Toshiro beat and gave Ichigo and Renji trouble. If only Kubo gave Bazz B more screen time to fully showcase the true potential of his power.

The situation is more complicated than that and in end the soul society are the ones who started everything, besides even after the first war ended the soul society society decided to exterminate them, of course it's hard to feel bad for them when mostly see the perspective of the shinigami , but it's absolutely not true that Quincy misfortune was their own fault.
Well, Hollows are like a poison to the Quincy's, they don't have any resistance towards them. That is why they are trying to get rid of all the Hollows in the first place.

From what we saw within the story, I am quite sure that Bazz-B is among the strongest Sternritters, just below the Elites. The fact that he was able to block Yama's flames, as well as Jugram believing that he would be promoted to the Elite Guard during the assault on the Royal Palace, is a strong indicator of how powerful he really is.
I do think we will get to see more of him in the anime, since he is one of the fan-favorites among the Quincy.

Can't see it as kind of a feat, him blocking Yama's flame. It's like a fire type pokemon using flamethrower with low to no damage against another fire type pokemon.

@@KvngLeroy1 I don't think so. Yes Yama has stronger Reiatsu and Reiryoku, still Bazz B blocking/ negating RJ's flame is not a something that special as they have the same type of ability, and correction, those flame are not from Yama' bankai but only a shikai.
My only issue with having so many characters and such a diverse power set, is that the entire 2nd half of the war just feels like a free for all. And any possible plot between sternritters and the shinigami developed/hinted in the 1st half, has been wiped off.
Bazz B seriously needs a dedicated fight in the anime, hopefully with Rukia and Renji, and he also needs more consistent characterization based on the Friends flashback arc. In the manga, it felt like a lot of Bazz B's past with Haschwalth and character were only solidified towards the end of his run, and his character in the early chapters of the TYBW feels weird as a result.

Bazz-B could've killed Ichigo with a Burning Finger had it not been for Renji. This is True Shikai Ichigo, who fully knows about his Quincy and Hollow Powers. So he knows how to utilise Hierro and Blut Vene.
@@apotheosis1660 Not really. Look at what happened in that manga panel - 8 sternritters jumped Ichigo, and he basically ignored them and was going for Yhwach the entire time. It took all that just for Bazz-B to get into position to even hit Ichigo in the first place. Sure, maybe he could do some damage, you're right, but in a one on one scenario? Quite unlikely.

Burner finger 4 appears to operate like a fire based getsuga tensho. Since it's in the shape of a blade, I believe it's safe to assume that it cuts in a similar manner to burner finger 2, but then you'd have to ask the question "why ever use burner finger 2?".

Thats not true. The Soul King only agreed to be sealed. He didn't consent at all to be cut up and his organs to be dug out. We were literally shown how the soul king black goo immediately started swarming down to soul society to kill the Soul reapers while not doing anything to the sternritters. Obviously the Soul King wants to take revenge and Yhwach is fulfilling what the Soul King wants. Yhwach didn't start anything, the original sin was the start of the war hence its even named as the 'original sin'.

Wtf, Yhwach was ashamed of the Soul King, but he was in no way seeking retribution on his behalf. Yhwach's existence requires distributing and reabsorbing pieces of his own soul, which causes the death of his subjects. The world that Yhwach nearly achieved erases the downside of his own basic desire to live. Petty sentiments my ass. He wants the same thing you hopefully do.

Burner finger 1 to 5. Burner finger 1 and 2 are the most concentrated versions of the Burner Finger technique. 3 is the middle ground while 4 and 5 are general/ area of effect abilities that aren’t concentrated but does general damage to everybody

His regular flames since he used a heat aura to melt Hyorinmaru that goes perfectly well for purpose of defending.

Bazz B is my fave sternritter. Kubo should have did SO much more with Bazz B. His character arc ended when we finally got to know him. Never even got a decent battle for himself. It’s a big disappointment.

1-6 are The SS and Jugram. With Gerard and Jugram interchangeable as the top 2.
Number 7 is Gremmy
Number 8 is probably Royd considering how close he scales to rage amped, Bloodlusted Bankai Yama and how his power level was high enough that Yama legit thought he was Yhwach.
Number 9 is probably the Wind as Yhwach felt that people as strong as Bazz B, and Robert, someone who was able to match First Invasion Kyoraku, were unworthy while he brought the Wind up with the SS and Jugram as his personal guard
So at best, Bazz B is number 10.
But I personally would put Quilge at number 10 if we include his Ayon amp, as he was able to not get one shotted by FB Bankai Ichigo, who imo is stronger than most of the Sternritter.
Based on how Ichigo did against Ginjo and Yhwach as well as mini feats against Kirinji, busting Yukio’s dimension, having sword swings and air pressure stronger than Complete FB Getsuga’s, with complete FB being stronger than FKT Ichigo….yea, it gets wild.
But yea Bazz B is the bottom of top 10 at best maybe just outside of it. Not bad when there’s 27-28 of them and spots 1-7 are taken up by overpowered people by default

okay so yep he's powerful but just think about this...Yamamoto's banaki made him heat upto 15 mill degrees..and well we never saw the holy form of bazz b but I don't think he could have been more powerful then a literal sun...yeah he did overpowered shikai Yamamoto but that Yamamoto was not at his full power... he's strong but Yamamoto is still stronger
I just wish the quincies we not only their schrifts. We dont see any hirenkyaku, any ransotengai, any quincy arrows after the fight with kirge opie. I think askin uses an arrow once but thats it.

The were some arrows after Quilge. We've seen Bazz-B crossbow, the Bambis and Pepe's arrows, Lille can shoot normal arrows with his gun and Askin has a bow hidden in his bracelets. The bow and arrows are just weapons.The Shrifts are their triumph cards in the war. You can say the same for the Shinigami, who use mainly their Shikais and Bankai instead of using just their zanpakuto or kido.

I mean, even if shikai's and bankai's have different abilities, they still fight with their swords wether shikai/bankai changes their shapes or not. However, 90% of the cases quincy abilities are completely unrelated to their spirit weapons and they stop using it.
