    One thing for sure, those are no toys you work on!!! Really cool to watch all the specialty tools and such you use. Looks like the vehicles lead a tough life, or not maintained. Thanks for the video, peaks my interest!!

    The frame jacks your using are pretty cool, I would love to get them for my shop. Do you know how I could find them? I always jack up off the axle, like 3 times to get it higher and higher until I can fight my frame jack stands in but a frame jack that is also a jack stand would be so cool to have.

    Do you only work on wheel end and suspension? I ask because all of your videos are on replacing leaf springs, kingpins, and brakes. I like that you have the camera from your pov.

      @@SemiWorkin Thanks for posting! Love the POV. Ive never had to do any leaf springs because a lot of our trucks have air bags, but I definitely know the process now, in case one does come my way.

    Sir Why you cut every u bolt...

    • @rivershen128
      @rivershen128 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally u bolts should be replaced every time they are loosened. The bolt stretches out as you tighten it creating a super strong bind that wont ever come loose. But, when they get loosened up and tightened again they don't have the same tension and you are supposed to change them. It's proper to change them, but normally they only replace them during leaf spring work and not caster adjustments on alignments. Technically they should be replaced when a caster is angled on an alignment, but I would pretty much guarantee you most shops don't do that.

      basically the bolt stretches, but it only does that once

    You sure don't mind diving in and getting stuff done. Those mud flaps would have to go... Careful with that hot wrench. With all that grease she could go up easily. Have you ever set a truck on fire? If the front end was that bad you can imagine what condition the rest is in...

      Thanks for watching my videos I really appreciate it!! Nothing to it but to do it!! Never set one on fire more than what the video showed but it could go bad really fast.
