WELL PUT TOGETHER, THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I DRESS AND PUT MY CLOTHES TOGETHER. I AM A SEAMSTRESS AND A SEMI PLUS SIZE. THE BEST VIDEO CAME ACROSS. LOVE IT.
It’s so great to hear that the video resonated with you. As a seamstress, you must have such a keen eye for detail and a real knack for putting outfits together in a way that works beautifully for your body. 🥰👍
Thank you so much for this content. I really appreciate it. As plus size woman, i strugling with how to look thinner and more attractive every day, not for man, but as appreciation and respect to my self.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad the video was helpful to you. When you're ready to declutter and start fresh, it will be a whole new experience. Wishing you the best of luck as you embrace this new approach-you've got this!🤗❤
I tend to chose straight leg trousers that break at the top of my shoes rather than leggings, skinny jeans, or ankle pants. I chose a solid color skirt or trouser with a small print blouse. I avoid over blown floral or geometric prints. Sometimes I wear a column of color and use accessories to add a pop of bright color. I find rich jewel tones enhance my coloring and older skin tones. I avoid bright yellows, oranges, pinks or purples as they make me look sallow. I wear flats, sandals or slip on style shoes, more for safety than style.
That's amazing! Listening to your sharing really helped me see things more clearly, and I really admire your attention to detail. Based on what you described, I can imagine you must look so youthful and elegant when you wear those pieces!😘👍
Ok i was with you until you got to hair 😮 Having it shorter lengths to slim your face is just a crock 🤨 Im 61yrs old, a plus size woman with long curly hair down to my waist. I receive compliments all the time about my hair 😊 It suits me the way it is but most of all it just makes me happy 🤗
Yes i could not agree more! It is just the biggest scam. It's all made up so that you have to run more often to the hairdresser and they will earn more
I like anything that gives me the illusion of having a waist, so a long necklace draws the eye in and down, as does rolling up sleeves so they sit at the narrowest part of the waist. Having shoes the same color as your hemline or stockings gives the illusion of longer legs.
I would really love a video on where to shop for the clothes shown in the video. It's hard to find even the simplest of pieces even if you shop at Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus. I need to know where to buy decent clothes!
It depends on the season which kind of shoes I wear with my dresses or skirts: sandals, ballet flats or boots (high). I also don't think the contrast between sporty and elegant makes the sneaker/skirt-look unflattering, but the "cutting" of the leg in unfavorable proportions. The same goes for ankle boots by showing a stripe of skin between boot and seam - it disturbs the harmony of each look.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It gave me a new understanding of the matching between short skirts and shoes. You’ve made some excellent observations!😊👍
I understand about v-necks elongating the neck and chest. However, I don’t think a crepey neck and chest of older women (like myself) is a look that I want to draw attention to. Any thoughts?
Alright, if that's the case, we can try using long accessories to create a V-neck effect, which can elongate the neck and chest. Additionally, this effect can be achieved by layering with a second piece of clothing, such as pairing a half-high-neck sweater with a shirt or a faux two-piece outfit with a V-neck.😊🌹
I’m not plus but w age my body has developed middle bulges. I use a jacket over my dress or pants outfit. A belted outfit w a jacket also fools the eye. No tight fitting clothes are flattering on me now. My clothes have to be tailored by me or a dressmaker for the best fit. Good fit is more important w age or being a plus size.
This is a plus size section. Why are the models thin. Use plus size women to actually show us. When it's -10c a wool coat will not keep you warm. Even in the city it gets really cold a good quality wool coat with a shame lining will not keep you warm. Puffy coats will.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Give this winner a prize 👏 Skinny women have no place in your video for plus size women 😮 It kind of makes your video not believable. I'd never do anything you think plus size women should wear 🤨 If it makes me happy & feel good then thats what I'm wearing 🙏😇💙🙌
Best option is go to the store en choose what you are comfortable in it . Nice are long skirt but I don’t like it , or jacket where I am not comfortable in it . But if I choose something what I feel good in it , I am happy and always have this feeling. So play with clothes and look what is for you best.
Try and find some vertical stripes. Good luck on that. Unbelievable you don’t find them much. It’s hard to find them in shirts or sweaters very hard. These people should be nice.
Pleats in trousers or skirts should open to the outside of the body, not the center. The former puts the volume over the hips, which is much more flattering, the latter puts the volume over the tummy, much less flattering.
Great tips! However... it would be terrific if you could include links to products that are described. I always find it difficult to find flattering styles. Thank you!
I'd like to add another tip: no ankle boots or sneakers with skirts and dresses, because they make the even most shapely legs look sturdy and the wearer seems like a clumsy klutz.
@grradojicic7602 Internationally, successful Curve Models or Plus Size Models are most often tall. And a UK Size 14-16 (or US 10-12). In her mid years now, I'm guessing Miss Monica Belluci falls within these parameters. She is certainly gorgeous in her skin and wellbeing in these images.
@grradojicic7602 You're very welcome. I think our eyes/brains become SO accustomed to very lean or early-teenage models (over 5'7" and UK size 6-8/US 2-4) that it can take a beat to adjust to a more normal sized body. Personally, I appreciate seeing clothing, swimwear and underwear portrayed on more realistic body shapes. And actively support those brands and retailers.

You’re truly remarkable! You've found a way to stay true to yourself, avoid toxic relationships, and build a lifestyle that suits you, all while cultivating an extraordinary level of self-awareness-something many of us find difficult to achieve, especially when facing challenges. I also deeply admire your minimalist approach. In today's age of constant digital distractions, it's rare for people to focus and truly be present. You've done an exceptional job at it. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Wishing you all the best!🤗❤❤
In fact, short hair can often be a wonderful choice as it can highlight facial features, feel more comfortable, and give a more polished or edgy look. But, whether long or short, hair is all about personal style and what makes you feel your best! I believe everyone has their own choices.😊🌹
Oh, and it’s important to choose a well-tailored style, and I’ve found that pleated skirts are also a good choice. Do you have any other suggestions for this?🤔

Most seniors appear more sophisticated with short stylish hair styles! ❤
Yes, it's not just for convenience, but also to make us look more refined.❤️
Good suggestions! I always dress monochromaticly to achieve a taller, trimmer look with a splash of color from a scarf and jewelry. Thank you, Sandra
It's my honor, Sandra! I love how you use monochromatic dressing to create that sleek, elongated effect-such a smart and flattering choice!🤗👍

PERFECT WAYS FOR HAIR STYLES ALSO TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION YOUR FACIAL SHAPE. SO WELL PUT TOGETHER. THE BEST
It's true that considering your facial shape can make all the difference in choosing a hairstyle that really complements your features. 😊👍
Love this

Hair style that suit me- curly hair, high forehead

I'm a plus size and shirts are my easy go to. Yes leaving the neckline loose by letting go 4 top buttons❤❤❤
Well done!🥰👍

Ah, I totally get what you mean! The dress adds elegance, but the sneakers are more sporty for me. What shoes do you usually wear with a dress?😊♥
No one likes sturdy.😢

Im not a plus size. However I’ve had a bilateral mastectomy and my mid section is big
Anyway, choosing well-tailored clothes is key, but most importantly, it's about feeling confident and comfortable in what you wear. Best wishes!😘🌹
no way would i wear a belt, cuts you in half

Yeah, try that when you have an auto-immune disease which destroys your muscles and joints! Some people just don’t have a clue!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
