Yes, I have fair colored skin and medium red blond hair and hazel colored eyes. I wear bright colors like hot pink, purple shades, bright shades of blue that enhance my skin color. Colors that are too light tend to wash me out like light pink, yellow blue, etc. and I don't wear them. I know what colors are best for me simply because of the way the look!
Anyone in doubt should have their colors done. Years ago Color Me Beautiful made a huge difference in my life. As a true Winter, I stick to my color swatch samples & simplify wardrobe/accessories. Not a fan of pastels or shrieking color on mature women. No need to be dull, contrast is your friend.
Color Me Beautiful was transformative! I can never understand why people will wear an unflattering color that the fashion industry is currently promoting. 🤷
I had my colors done with CMB as well. I’m a Brown Summer. It helps so much to shop knowing what colors I shine in. I paid for my daughters to get their colors one as well.

About 8 yrs ago, I discovered that Royal Blue is my signature color; it really makes my blue eyes pop. I also get compliments when I wear burgundy, I am told it looks good with my complexion; something I never noticed or realized before.
What an amazing discovery! Royal blue and burgundy are truly powerful shades to highlight your features. It's wonderful when we find our standout colors, keep rocking those choices!
Depends also on whether you have cool color or warm color tones. Navy always makes me look if I am about to enter my coffin. I have warm tones-Autumn color are my best friends and turquoise is flattering to my face as well as wheat, warm browns and olives and cinnamon is fantastic..
Totally agree with you Your comfort and confidence in what your are wearing come first Know yourself and dress accordingly..your happiness comes first 😂
My biggest complaint about this video is that they seem to be suggestion that the colors are being offered are flattering just because of age, but without any mention of skin tone, which is absolutely critical. Maybe they assume women already know this, but it would be better not to assume.
Nobody talks about the color of one's hair. It's important to coordinate with color of outfit. Blonde shades or gray hair needs to be complimented with the colors we wear. A scarf or accessory worn near the face neutralizes harsh looking black, raw white, greens, yellows and neons.
While camel looks beautiful on olive and dark complected women, it washes out older, fair-skinned women, and often turns them yellow! Run away! Run away! The AI narrator says it has tested colors that make it look tired or older than it is. (Let me guess: 3 years? 5 years?) Humans shouldn't be taking fashion advice from robots, any more than they should take breathing lessons from fish.
Yes yes yes go to colour me beautiful for true colour guide, hair colour , eye colour all have an impact, and how many of us have our original colour hair!
My very favorite color is navy blue. It can be complimented by numerous partners like white, pink, baby blue, red, clay, lime green, list goes on, but my favorite mix (and to me the classiest is navy and winter-green). I am a winter with silver hair. Easiest way to find out what colors suit is to drape with silver lame then gold lame. The wrong one will create dark circles under eyes. Silver is my best choice.
Your skin tone changes as you age. It’s worth having your Colors re done once you turn 60. Mine changed from harsh winter when I was young to soft winter mixed with neutrals. Red is now burgundy, and powder pink. I can still wear black, but must team with something soft.
What is your advice for women over 60 who are on a low income? Where do we shop to be able to afford the looks you show us? Also, I would love to see some more dressed down looks. I live in a small town. I still want to look sharp but in a more dressed down way. Thank you so much!

I went to a professional colour consultation in Berlin, Germany: It is ALL about the SKINTONE‼️ Certain shades of light blue, light green, let alone orange or yellow would put me on the sick list appearance in no time 😁
You have to think from your hair color. If you are gray, avoid beige, brown, yellow and orange. That is no-no! And very careful choose pastels, if you do not want to have washout look
