I remember when I was in High School in the early 80's, a guy had a 70's era Bug with a 427ci stuffed in it. The only clues were the V8 rumble and the fact he was sitting behind the "B" pillar because he had the V8 in the front.
What would probably be best for this LS2 is to de-stroke it down to 331. If it's done right, it will send your redline up to 7,500+ rpm. Some people are pushing them over 8,000 rpm with forged internals. That would be pure insanity in that little bug! The only thing that could possibly be any better than a rear-mid, de-stroked LS2 would be if it were awd!
Cool can a different transmission be fitted that has a ls style bellhousing which could allow the engine to be move back to the same position as the Audi v8 and possibly allowing the standard LS water pump to be kept.
Hi guy's just an enquiry I've seen your videos the workmanship is sensational. Would you know if it's possible to fit a Ford coyote engine into your car and could I get it registered in Sydney Australia
Love it now to win the lottery
Blown away on how well built it is . Some one will be very lucky to own one of these monster bugs .
That bug is a BEAST!
I need to swap an ls into my boxster.
Thanks for producing this content.
It'd be a pleasure to work in that shop.
So cool and yes leaving the engine in the car for filter changes is good
Glad to see you guys are still with us...
Oh yes, we're still here. Keep well
Excellent can't wait for the next episode
Love this build! Of course I'm biased. My 914 "VW" with LS6 turbo is a blast!
sounds awesone
I can't wait until you start having a Chevy LT 7 Supercharged engine or a Dodge Hellcat engine! "MORE POWER!!!"
Oh yeah!

I knew a guy who had a bug body on a Chevy II...
... The firewall was a straight drop from the dash, and I never did try to fit in it.

You guys are fantastic …..
Absolutely bad ass!!
Epic!
Good one!
Love it, but that LS would sound WAAAY better with a cross pipe on the exhaust.
I would buy one of these if I had the funds but with the Audi V8 twins! I’m still working on it while I’m writing!
Just awesome!
Magnifique 🤩🤩🤩
You want a car whose engine noise scares people 😅
Love this build, been following since beginning. Are there any new videos or updates? None of the web links are working.
Love what you have engineered! Would this work on my 74 Super Beetle convertible?

Great question one for @JeanFourie
How about an AWD Stealthbeetle?? Rally spec addition? Sounds wonderful to me!
Curious about the F-R weight distribution , but I'm sure you guys worked it out. Very cool! Can I have that one when you're done with it...?
Killa
Nice
Twin turbos in the back window would be pretty sweet
Lol! I’m both of these guys, doing the scaring and shitting my pant when I got started!🤣
While I like the technology and brain power that Audi brings to the game, NOTHING else on the road sounds as downright mean as a big GM V-8
Grunt grunt
You ever heard a Volvo 5 banger?
@@annonymous7440 Yes, briefly, just before my Oldsmobile Rocket 455 drowned it out.
Awesome video. May I ask the name of the colors those vws are painted?
When will this kit be available?
Hi Adam, this kit is available now, you can email me doug@v8stealthbeetle.com and i will send you details.
Me Like Very Mucho!
This is awesome now drop in a Hellcat blown HEMI.
Ooh boy! sounds awesome mean!! Are you guys still sticking with the plan to build only 100 bugs?
yes
@@V8StealthBeetle hi sir nice performance
My intent is to use my 74 super as a host for this. I just hope this works.
A super beetle body will work, it might need a bit of modification around the dashboard though

No it won't fit unfortunately
You also lose the rear seats. But I think it is worth the loss.
Hi bro it possible to purchase an engine and the body frame ?

I wonder if the ls4 fead would have worked? It’s the tightest fitting fead and is used in fwd applications

That is no longer just a bug..... It's a murder hornet!!!!
I'm still on the fence to buy im in America
what's more reliable LS1 or Audi v8???
LS is bulletproof
@@V8StealthBeetle
Absolutely!
For those who LOVE garage time and spending money, there is always the Audi option...
The frequency that you use the rotating stealth v8 symbol and its annoying sound has driven me away !
? ??o?o??
So the guy almost shot himself, that's an reaction.
