I have a friend currently going through this game for the first time; he loves it, more proof that this game stood the test of time! I love what you did with such a classic SNES track!
Missing the intensity, but to think of it, this would work well as a reprise track to a moment where samus is searching for something or investigating a way to avoid the aliens then confronting them. Non the less this is a really good cover
I was going to offer a criticism at first, since this didn't sound quite like what I imagined it might. I expected or, wanted, something a bit heavier, like dramatic combat music. But you know, I kind of started to not feel that way about it anymore. This is, after all, a literal update of the existing music, and it sounds like what it was meant to be. Your work so far makes the music sound like a science fiction horror sort of thing, as it should, and this fits that mold very well. It sounds great regardless of my first impression anyway, so. Nice work as usual.
I think this works better as a redone version of this theme from Prime 3 when Samus infiltrates the Pirate homeworld, this is too soft for the situation she's in here
@@patrickfolan4005 yeah i already found out 2 months ago. also ordered a cassette and im waiting for it to arrive. fucking corona shit. everything gets delayed.

I love the CRT and scanlines feel of your video clip as well. It's a charm we can't really reproduce now with LCD screens.
For me, the original is a lot more atmospheric, but this one is really sinister and just feels like it gets in my head.
This makes it sound alot more creepy and alien

Perfect theme for a hive of sneaky space-bugs waking up.
This gives the game depth, volume, it’s as if I’m inside the game.
It sounds quite unsettling and creepy, really captures the atmosphere I'm so hyped for the next songs, love your work ^^ keep them coming!
More please! This rocks.
These are so good. Can't wait for Brinstar!
Play it at 0.75 speed, you get The Pirate Homeworld...

The tune is fantastic as always, but I personally find the flickering pause symbol to be strongly undesirable.
It's definitely got quite a different feel, and I'm not sure it's one that fits.
is there a way to donate?
