Much love for the self titled album! I love all the albums so much that I don't want to call any of them the worst but the self titled does have peaks, valleys, and other things that what you don't see doesn't have. I would definitely consider the self titled Torf's best album all day. The drums are insane on that one.

Dude! checking back in nine months later after your Big Blind review…amazing Letterman review. I love the way you talk about the band’s unique qualities and how they’ve charted a new path that goes outside of pop punk. Their foundation is in the scene (and are still widely respected within it) but they’ve clearly transcended into just being an incredible all-around rock band with signatures of their own. Can’t think of any other band that consistently delivers like these guys, growing just enough to keep things unknown, interesting, and thought provoking, yet retaining their essential sound and style. This era seems like a potentially more refined era that will build on the foundation laid by Proper Dose. What did you think about the influences of the music video (Oasis / Wonderwall)? I’m really liking how they’re clearly taking more note of their image and having some artistic freedom on the visual side. In terms of albums, Proper Dose is #1 followed by USAD, then WYDS and self titled ties for third. Again, no worst album, no worst song. Excited to continue reviewing these tracks with you man! Keep making videos, I really enjoy them. 🙏🙏🙏
I loved the music video. It might be my favorite one now. It was heavy gloom before...just loved the minimal bowls n boards scenery to that one but you can definately tell that oasis is to them what 311 is to me. I wish the video coulda been in there. I trimmed the video out of big blind so the reaction is back on YT now. Another thing I forgot to mention that I'm so happy about is Torf's return to the drums!
Hell yeah man, agree it was awesome seeing Torf back. The MV was so well done, loved how calm yet engaged Parker was and how they did the angle cuts.
