I liked this song when I first listened but didn't love it. But the more I listen the more I "get" this song, and it has really grown on me after a dozen listens or so. SO STOKED FOR THIS ALBUM!
YES, my exact reaction. It took some time to grow on me, but once you realize the intention of the music and the vibe, that's when it goes from a good song to an absolute bop hahahaha
Yes!! I think this album is gonna be the perfect follow up to "Proper Dose", and Parker is back in his Liam Gallagher phase, it can't get much better!!
Parker being influenced by Britpop has been the biggest benefit for this band. You can see how stale the old stuff got in the 3rd album, proper dose was a nice mixture of both and I’m all for this version of TSSF.
I've commented this on other videos but the guitars compliment the vocals really well and the drums are perfect and not overplayed. TSSF have always been stellar songwriters and I think with Proper Dose and this new stuff, they're firing on all cylinders. They've grown and so has the sound. Love this song so much.
