I needed to hear this conversation so badly right now while I’m caring for my mother, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, soon after my wife and I welcomed our first baby. Last year, we lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s, and now my uncle is also facing the same challenge. Stress is taking a toll on our minds and health at an alarming rate-I’ve witnessed it affecting everyone around me. The external stressors are abundant and incredibly difficult to navigate. Right now, stress management is my sole focus, as it’s one aspect I can exert some control over. Thank you for being a source of support.

Alice’s story is heartbreaking! Can’t believe how it’s just becoming more and more common about stress playing out in cancer or other health complications
It’s so empowering to see her standing strong and changing a generation legacy and rebuilding that hope that we don’t need to condition ourselves this normalised panic and stress.
It’s a mind f - that the irony is we get stressed from being not in control especially of the external factors that happen to us ( career, lost loved ones, health conditions)
but we can control how we react - which can eventually control the outcome to SOME EXTENT…we can change how to deal with the bad in a less harmful/ healthy way.
autoimmune chronic conditions that can’t be simply explained are from long term chronic stress.
But the hardest challenge is unwiring that conditioned nervous system that has always known to be stressed. And that’s when the system / the world around us will label you with a mental health disorder which you become attached and condition too that you believe this is the only way to know live and be

If you surround yourself with beautiful woman it doesn't necessarily make you more attractive but it helps😂. Lol. Just kidding.
