To all the people asking where the black wire is plugged in. It is just plugged directly into 220v outlet or breaker box etc. It doesn't matter where the power comes from Just as long as it's AC power. And no you can't just plug in a cord and weld like that. You need to drop the volts and raise the amps. That's what the salt water does acting as a resistor.

El que no sabe de electricidad lo podrán engañar. Claro el cable negro que nunca le enseñan el estro lo conectan a corriente normal de casa y claro la potencia la pasan por el Valdé de agua e de ahí q el agua se calienta por le están metiendo 110 directo y lo duplican a 220 al pasar por el agua y el otro estremo lo conectan al metal haciendo negativo e de ahí q logran soldar y el bombillo lo conectan antes en el primer extremo porque si lo conectan en el otro estremo lo revienta lo q le están metiendo es corriente normal de casa al bombillo solo un tonto se cree ese invento

The black cable came from the Ac current from the wall socket so is normal the job water on the container it connect the positive form the wall socket
Still use electric source but this skill can use without welding machine...just use the salt water...but beware the bite .safety first guys...
