Look Away, One More Day, Will You Still Love Me?, What Kind Of Man Would I Be?, If She Would've Been Faithful, Forever, I Believe, One More Day, We Can Last Forever, Man To Woman, You're Not Alone, I Don't Wanna Live WIthout Your Love, Look Away, Remember the Feeling, Along Comes A Woman, Chasin' The Wind, Explain it To My Heart... shall I go on???? :-)
A G oh absolutely! I usually just always suggest the more popular ones to reactors that are just discovering a band or artist- Especially songs I feel each reactor might like or resonate with- 🤷🏼♀️
You really CANNOT go wrong with Chicago! There are way too many GREAT songs to choose from, you could groove to Chicago for a long long time and not get tired of them. The lead singer you are hearing in "You're the Inspiration " is Peter Cetera who had a lot of great solo hits and also became something of a duet king singing hits with the likes of Cher, Chaka Khan, Amy Grant and several others. He's worth checking out! Great reaction, I love to watch you really get into a song!
Oh man. There's nothing like 80's Chicago ballads! Check these out too: Hard to Say I'm Sorry Hard Habit to Break Will You Still Love Me? Glory of Love (Peter Cetera solo)
I love your reaction. Try Mike and The Mechanics "The Living Years" I can't hear that song and not cry. As far as Chicago goes, you got one of their best there. That whole album, my Chicago 17 tape was worn out! Stay the Night, Hard Habit to Break, so many. And what about "The Glory of Love" - P. Cetera solo song - Hello Karate Kid II
Never been able to listen to this song without being overcome with emotions. So many beautiful memories to this song and this is how a song is meant to be sung. By far one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
Yep. The hair, makeup, and fashion of the 80s left much to be desired, but the music was phenomenal, and the movies were pretty great, too. Chicago, with Peter Cetera singing lead, definitely had some of the best power ballads of the decade.
I agree with "drive" by the cars. But then follow it up with "Joey" by Concrete Blonde. Then play Girl with a problem by the Northern Pikes(a Canadian band)
You should try some Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons!!! Might I suggest Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You!? Then maybe, Oh What a Night Workin My Way Back To You My Eyes Adored You Beggin Big Girls Don’t Cry Sherry
Early Chicago with Terry Kath is not to be missed. Just you and me, make me smile, Saturday in the park, searchin', 25 or 6 to 4. Searchin' is my fave, but Terry puts a punch in that is distinctive from later Chicago works. Similar to Journey when Greg Rollie was still in the band. The variety/contrast adds depth and interest, like in "Feelin' that way". Not to compare old and new, just to know they both exist.
Chicago is my band! Omg!! Never get enough replaying these amazing songs from my youth. And the Russian cover band who nails them .check them out leonid and friends i think is the name...Peter Cetera had that unique voice. When he left years later it never was the same...check out beginnings and 26 to 4 ( ?) its very early here for me. Ugh. You will like so many more of theirs. They had lime 16 albums. I am the same way James.my sweet spot is listening to.music
Your reaction was bringing tears to my eyes again. Loved this song for decades now, so it so touching to see someone else, love it so much at first hearing. Two songs that I think you'll absolutely love; 1: Morning Has Broken by Ale Stewart. You seem to be a fan of his music and this has been a favourite of mine, forever, really, as far back as I can remember; and 2: Love Doesn't Ask Why by Celine Dion. Heard that one last night, over the radio, and you popped in my mind right away. Also JB, if you have not done so already, please, please, P-L-E-A-S-E!!!!, check out "Super Vocal" China. I believe you've already, checked out some "I Am A Singer" China, performances and this show is even, better than that, if you can believe. Without a doubt, world class singing/vocalizing/entertainment, hands down. For someone who loves quality music period, as I do as well, you'll be in absolute, musical, heaven. I have been, time and time again. They have put out two seasons of this show so far, and season one seems to be slightly, better than season two but ALL, are utterly, outstanding and breathtaking. I very, strongly, encourage you to treat yourself to this. My Retro/Vintage Best. Out.
You're covering some awesome songs man. One of their later songs titled "Wishing you were here" was a favorite of mine when I first met the woman who became my wife.
I *love* that song. I only just found out it was the Beach Boys performing with them doing those harmonies. It clearly sounds Beach Boys-esque but didnt realize it was actually them. Beautiful.
Wooweee love this. Mmmm need more like this. What happened to music. Love the 50s, 60s,70s and 80s. Then something happened and we lost this beautiful rawwww sexy soothing music. Thanks so much friend. You break up my day when i watch your videos. Just takes me to another place and time. God bless you.
I posted and comment last night on your video "REO Speedwagon - Can't Fight This Feeling REACTION" saying you should react to Peter Cetera Glory Of Love (Theme From "The Karate Kid Part II") . Peter Cetera was the lead singer of Chicago and is the singer on this track "You're The Inspiration", he has one of the most unique voices. I would LOVE to see your reaction to his solo career song with Glory of Love, it was a hit in the 80's. "Glory of Love" is a 1986 song by Peter Cetera written and composed by Cetera shortly after he left the band Chicago to pursue a solo career.
Chicago: 25 or 6 to 4 Hard Habit to Break If You Leave Me Now Color my World Make Me Smile Love Me Tomorrow Saturday in the Park Hard to Say I'm Sorry Beginnings
You can’t go wrong listening to anything Chicago. Best group to ever sing a note. The lead singer Peter Cetera is the most amazing vocalist ever. I love watching the faces of people listening to Chicago because they realize what they’ve been missing.
It’s February 27, 2020 and you’re at 47.4K subscribers! You go! My husband sang this song at my sister’s wedding in 1985. My husband & I have been married for 39+ years and this song still applies to us. ❤️ I absolutely LOVE this song. Thank you for this. 💜💜
Chicago is a rabbit hole worth exploring. Their music is so beautiful and the lyrics are so lovely. Welcome for the ride, my friend. I needed to hear some feel good music today. Thank you.
Love live Chicago, so many songs and our main staple in the 70s.. - happy days: stretched out over endless weekends for years of Chicago... You must must listen to Steely Dan another major band in the same era, and perhaps start with Hey Nineteen you will resonate with that.
Wish I could go back in time and I'd take you with me. I loved to sing to all the songs from the 60's on including R & B, ballads, country, etc. You have so much more to experience and I love that you are taking me down memory lane. God Bless!
2 Words! PETER CETERA! JB check out the whole Chicago 17 album. 1984! This is my very fave! Peter wrote the songs w David Foster. It would b his last before going solo that same year. I survived Covid listening to my 80s! His voice is so UNIQUE & DISTINCT and will never be duplicated.
For me, Queen - Bijou is the ultimate love song. Last week I had my son (30) laughing his butt off letting him watch an old happy romantic love song called "Darlin" performed by David Cassidy with Flo and Eddie . Hilarious to see that pretty boy David together with those cauliflowers...
Bryan Adam's does another song that I want played at my wedding. It's called HAVE YOU EVER REALLY LOVED A WOMAN. Beautiful song....please check it out😊
Great reaction and great song for a wedding! My wedding song was In My Life by the Beatles...please give it a listen...would love to see your reaction. ☮💜
i had a Chicago greatest hits cassette tape I think 1990 I was 24 years old at that time cuz I have my son in 91 25 years old I played the tape so much that it could even play anymore love it
Watching your reactions to a song or artist that I grew up listening to is like I discover it all over again thank you love your channel remember be true to yourself
These ballads with Cetera singing lead are no way reflective of who Chicago was. It was in the years following Terry Kath's death that Chicago lost their way and got dropped by their label. Cetera's love songs saved the band but also caused a rift between him and the other band members as they felt he was looking out for himself and his image. He eventually left and went solo. Watch their documentary on Netflix to get the real story. May I suggest "Call On Me", "25 Or 6 To 4", "Beginnings", "Question 67/68", "Saturday In The Park", "Make Me Smile" and "Does Anybody Know What Time It is". Love your show...I'm hooked!
What you said about music reminds me of what Bob Marley, one of the greatest musicians of all time, said: “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
As already mentioned, Peter Cetera, the lead singer of Chicago did a few duets over his career that you need to check out. 1st-"The next time I fall" with Amy Grant. 2nd- "After all" with Cher. 3rd- "Feels like heaven" with Chaka Khan. 4th- "I want to take forever tonight" with actress Crystal Bernard.
Chicago..if you leave me now...
You'll take away the biggest part of me....
oooOOO OOO No, baby please don’t go!
Nobody does love songs like Chicago does love songs! There are so many of theirs and they just make me melt!
Finally someone recognizes Chicago! Such a talent that has seemed to have casually disappeared.
They're still touring and sound AMAZING!!!!
I knew you would be affected by Peter Cetera's voice.
If you like this one, You need to hear his song "Glory of Love" from the Karate Kid 2 soundtrack.
Good Music heals you!!!💕
OMG!! YES!! 😊😂😁
Yes bloody classic !!
DONT DO IT! You will have a new favorite love song... again! This song is one of the best as well.
Yes! This is mine and my husband's song, it was our song at our wedding and it will be until we are no longer on this earth. "Glory of Love"
Chicago - Hard To Say I'm Sorry
These guys were the epitome of professionalism and perfection. There were no flaws in their productions.
every high school and middle school dance when I was the this was the song.
I don’t think I will ever get tired of watching your face when you listen to music that I loved as a kid. ❤️

Good call. x

Don't forget Cetera's list of hits as well!
A G oh absolutely! I usually just always suggest the more popular ones to reactors that are just discovering a band or artist- Especially songs I feel each reactor might like or resonate with- 🤷🏼♀️

Hard to Say I'm Sorry
Hard Habit to Break
Will You Still Love Me?
Glory of Love (Peter Cetera solo)
True
I agree. Most notably would be Hard Habit to Break. Probably Chicago's best song among a lot of really good songs.
Definately Chicago. Need some Hall & Oates too.
Hall and Oates..
My favorites by Hall & Oates:
You Make My Dreams
Maneater
Kiss on My List
Out of Touch
@@randall-king Yes. Definately

What fun!!
80’s rock!!!!
I love Chicago. they had a completely different sound in the 80's then they did in the 70's and I love both iterations.
I like their 70's stuff much more
I love the 70's & 80's, too....before Cetera left.
I love your reaction. Try Mike and The Mechanics "The Living Years" I can't hear that song and not cry. As far as Chicago goes, you got one of their best there. The 80s had some of the best love songs even the Hair Metal bands had their ballads...you are in for a treat checking them all out.❤🎶☺
Yep. The hair, makeup, and fashion of the 80s left much to be desired, but the music was phenomenal, and the movies were pretty great, too. Chicago, with Peter Cetera singing lead, definitely had some of the best power ballads of the decade.
Two of the greatest love songs ever written Thank You by Led Zeppelin and Something by the Beatles
Colour My World by Chicago is one of my all time favorite songs!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Try " DRIVE " by the ' Cars ' ... also wonderful
Iconic song from the ' Live Aid ' video of the famine in Ethiopia .. it will move you to tears
Drive is awesome!
Then maybe,
Oh What a Night
Workin My Way Back To You
My Eyes Adored You
Beggin
Big Girls Don’t Cry
Sherry
You definitely need to fall into a Chicago rabbit hole. They are AMAZING. And their use of strings and horns and full orchestration.... perfect.

Peter Cetera has an awesome voice. Listen to If you leave me now, Hard Habit to break and The Glory of love
If You Leave Me Now is one of my all time favorite Chicago ballads.
When I hear a song that I love, it’s because the voice just grabs my heart. Peter Cetera does that with anything he sings! ❤️🎵

Peter Cetera is my favorite, with Chicago originally, soloist. Several albums.
Great song

Theme for my 8th grade graduation dance ... our "mini prom" ..... aww memories :)
A great love song for you James is l love how you love me by the Paris sisters.you won’t regret listening to this song.
