TAUPO FLYFISHING THE DREAM RIVER

Ventured to a Local River that I hadn't fished since a teenager.
With no recent rain of note my expectations were low. I couldn't have been further from Reality. The river was PACKED WITH BIG FISH
It truly is a DREAM RIVER.

So that day I predominantly used a home tied egg pattern but also inthe shallower areas I use a natural pattern I call the shizzle.. it's insane ! As far as leader goes I only ever use straight 5lb no matter which river.. it sinks incredibly quickly gives me more of a quality drift. Just got to have the confidence to use the light stuff

Great stuff, mate. Not another angler in sight, and lovely conditions. Have you managed to avoid the local claimants wanting to charge you for putting up content?

Hey mate .. Thanks there was a few around but most I think raced up the top thinking there was no fish lower down..
My channel is not set for monetary so don't think they can charge me.. the other guys all make incomes from viewers etc.
I just film what I do for fun
