Seventeen is self produced and self choreographed group they really started from 0 and became one of the biggest and successful kpop group in the world with their hard work trust me more than 8 years into their carrer but not a single bad performance

This is a Title track but the album has double title tracks with F*ck My Life MV coming out May 8th if Im not mistaken. The song is about Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, which Son Goku is inspired by.
They also debuted on May 26 2015.

So this album is called FML. It has 2 Title Tracks - Sonogong or Super (the eng name of th track) and F*ck My Life.. They wanted to concentrate more on performance in this Title Track coz they are known for their Amazing performances.. They are dubbed as the Performance Powerhouse of Kpop for their synchronization and stage presence.. I think they are the most synchronized grp in kpop atp.. Their second TT F*ck my life's MV hasn't released it. It releases on May 5th if I am not wrong.. They said that MV is more like traditional MV.. They are also called the Theatre Kids of Kpop for their Theatre like performances.. Fun fact one of thm is actually a musical actor as well he is in BSS too.. His name is DK one of the main vocalists.. He played King Arthur in the Musical Xcalibur.. They are all incredibly talented.. I knew you were gonna be pretty blown away by them.. like watching HOT and Super back to back is a lot to take in.. I really liked how u went in without any prejudice.. seventeen debuted in 2015 but they were supposed to debut back in like 2013 but the lineup was slightly different (e.g. some other trainees and the8 who hadn’t joined yet) and the date for debut kept getting pushed back due to the company being very broke at the time
Super is about Sun Wukong also Son goku from dragonball, They make references to the flying nimbus (the part about a cloud) and also some of the poses are from the anime/ manga. Woozi also said its the ending credits song in one of the lyrics too
Every time I see someone react to SVT, start with Hot and now Super, and really enjoy them I feel happy, because new SVT fan, but also worried since all their songs sound really different and this type of music style is a pretty new and different thing to what they usually do, so it worries me people might get into them with a different idea and some might end up a little disappointed
Took the words right out of my inability to think of how to put what I wanted to say into words! 😂 This is EXACTLY the feeling I get too... Only with my two ults though! I dunno, I think there just something incredibly different about them. They have that "It Factor".... Heck, come to think of it, despite the fsct that to me they are both the beat of the best and uniquely suited for fame, they're even incredibly different from one another too!! Lmao
I think what they do have in common though, isn't even in their music really, it's in the sheer level at which they take on music and refuse to settle into a single "lane". Their talent and their drive, period. (Seriously, the work ethic these men have! They make me feel like I have never accomplished anything!) It's the fsct that they are so incredibly multi-talented individuals who somehow find one another, their perfect matches, in this insane world.
They aren't any one thing, they aren't just an unyielding concept that theirnmusic orilbits around endlessly. Yes they have concepts, of course but the concepts work for them. Whereas in most kpop, I feel the artist is controlled by their concept. I dunno, iguess you can't describe their music that easily. That's literally what makes the music they create so AMAZING though.
However, I worry with people who aren't like myself... In other words, eclectic. I'm driven to music that is made with love for the craft, and talent so strong that it goes against labels, goes against any and all boundaries. (Which, for me, means it MUST be self produced.) And TRULY self produced kpop is bloody rare. Don't get me wrong, props to any groups or artist that has any creative freedom eith their music. Truly. But for a group to have their whole discography be the brainchild of the members in the group? I mean, wow.
For them to hold the right to ALL of their songs as the main writers, composers, producers, even arrangers and often choreographers!? And STILL be the groups with the most content and comebacks, and xonstant tours!? That is insanity. Yes, of course they work with co-producers and are definitely, and rightfully, generous with making sure they get credit too.... However even they are really just there to help the groups shining star producer/producers to navigate what is almost always new genre their tackling. 😂 or to bounce ideas off of.
It's not like the groups whos company makes everything into a cohesive single file train of concept aligned comebacks. So it makes me livid almost when people say things like... "They aren't consistent"" or "They aren't cohesive!".... Uhh, well they ARE consistently amazing, they ARE two of the most cohesive groups in terms of talent, their personalities, their bonds, and their dreams that I have ever seen.
Side note, I find it funny that, as I write this, i am realizing that Seventeen and Stray Kids really do share all of these amazing skills, attributes, whatevers... but I stand by my statement that they truly are quite different form eachother when it comes to their music. (Although it does seem their fandoms overlap quite bit and even those who sre only fans of one or the other, appear to respect the other group very much as well as be very fond of their fandom. No joke, STAY are always talking about how Carats are one of the only fandoms they receive kindness from. Sad, right?!
Point is... and sorry for the massive book. lmao (Guess you said the magic positive rant words or something. lol)... I truly love that their Lyrics actually come from their hearts. Their messages are actually relatable and give you the feels. Whether that be happy, sad, or anything in between. What do the haters want, for the same song over and over again with a different title in it. Lol So... yeah, I do worry when a new reactor appears. (After all, reactors re in fact responsible for many other people's first impressionson a group, and what they say does matter. Specially in kpop.) Only because it can be hard to convey that they shouldn't expect the same thing from them repetitively, but that it's still always, somehow, truly amazing. With that being said, I guess I wish I could make appear in front of every person who's not eclectic, a list of the songs that fir their style. Because I truly believe they would love the the ones (which I'm sure there would still be many) that do fall within the spectrum of their personal taste. Sigh... lol I guess I just adore these talented young men so very much it makes me sad when someone just happens to pick a song that isn't their style, then walk away. Whilst I know they have many songs that person would love, but the concept crush of kpop has caused too many people to not look further than a title track or two. 😢
I guess... I just want them to have all the fans they rightfully deserve, because they are at the top of the world for a reason. Besides... I think it's absolutely beautiful Stray Kids are following in the footsteps of Seventeen in the way they are, too. when it comes to accomplishments, fame, and *gestures to this mess of a comment lol* all this stuff. Not to mention... They just adore eachother.

They're also my ults :] Idk why but I feel like they're some of the groups that actually feel like a family ? Like an actual found family in a way ?? TBH, seventeen is the second biggest kpop boygroup after BTS right now. This album got more than 4 million preorders and confirmed album sales (they broke BTS record of all time korean album sales) .. funny how the 2 groups are in the same company "HYBE" lol
