Thank you dear Aki for showing us your summer time in Japan. :) During hot summer days in Germany most people feel a kind of fatigue. I enjoy light food like watermelon, cherries, strawberries, smoothie, salads or wraps. Germans love to have a barbecue in the summer evenigs when the weather has cooled down. We like to sit together with friends and family.

Lovely and interesting as always. Really an inspiration to us people living very urban lives. I have incorporated your early walk + garbage clean and the toilet clean for now. It's very refreshing. Also got a Yukata for homewear.

They come in a few different colours. If you can get them in Australia then you should be able to get them most places. The yellow I think are called champagne melons. You get oranges, pinks, whites and deep reds.

I live in the Appalachian mountains in Pennsylvania here in the United States in a more rural area. I think it gets so humid for where I am because we have so much plant life. We have a lot of land that is still forest but also a good deal of farms, for weeks on end this year we had humidity levels stay around 80%. Very familiar with summer fatigue, that’s for sure. Will have to try to remember some of these recipes for next year because the more good summer recipes the better.

Thank you for these videos. Some of the dishes remind me a little of the summer salads you can have in Spain or Italy, except the ingredients are slightly different. But the ratio protein/carbs is very similar and the freshness too. I will try to make these, especially salmon ochazuke, because I love brown rice, salmon and tea.
