Well I have the 820 and bought the 820 plus for my husband. The hi res on the 820 is when you use it plugged, USB C in a computer or cellphone (you'll need and adaptor). The 820 plus has the hi res on Bluetooth as well. That is the difference.
Hello so does this mean the plus has better sq even ldac was off. Because Hi res is automatic right? Hi res only activates on the 820 if wired, but activated wirelessly for the plus. Means the plus has better soundquality

great review/comparison !! regarding the confusing hi-res audio situation; the W820NB Plus has hi-res audio wired and wireless whiie W820NB only has hi-res when used wired. hope that cleared that up for you !

@@ahkio811 i'd say if u aren't an audiophile u wouldn't hear the difference regardless if it's wired or wireless. but there is a difference when u really listen for it ! wired definitely has more details and the overall audio quality has more clarity.

Great review!! Previously owned the 820NB and found they were not loud enough. Based off this review the 820NB Plus is likely the same. No doubt, the cushions are one of the most comfy I have tried. If the old version was updated, odd why they would reissue with only a change of colors and adding ANC.
You just need to download Bluetooth equalizer it will make it louder or even too loud

I’m so confused rn after going through all the review of headphones in budget. Sony wh ch720n, soundcore q30, edifierw820nb, jbl 770nc which one do you prefer based on (sound &build quality, anc and comfort). Kindly answer please😢😢
These are all great choices, some better than others in different categories. I don't envy your position, lol! My personal choice would be Soundcore and the JBL based on those 4 categories you stated.

Appreciate the props! I'd say bass would be stronger on the Tozo, but that's about it. If you can, also consider the 1More Sonoflow.

Edifier 820 nb is better than Bose 700, qc45. In terms of sound, battery , and conecction?
The 700 is in a totally higher category than the other two. If you can afford the Bose, go for it! 😁

Hi! Amazing review! I do have a question, though. When I get a call will I sound like you during the “mic phone call outdoor test” (NOT the dji action 3 parts obvi)? I think in another review I saw that you would sound different while enabling the ANC or having it off. Or is the ANC always enabled during calls? thank you in advance!
Great question... ANC is always a user-side function, which means the person you're talking with will only hear the headphone's phone call processing.

No change on the ANC front, as far as my ears can tell (plus the fact that Edifier didn't claim any changes in their media release specs).

Hi Antoinette, it depends on what criteria are/is in a headphone - price, SQ, comfort, quality, app, customer support, design... If it's straight up SQ, for example, it'd be a toss up, while ANC would go to the Soundcore.

Have the q30 and after 2 years the plastic broke. Not happy. 😢. Its a great headphone and battery life is still strong, but really why can't they use metal and plastic and not just plastic all the way.
I voiced the same concern with Edifier - it'd be awesome if they followed in the same footsteps as 1More and Soundcore at this price range.

Cool, just wanted to be sure. I don't see why not, since USB-C is used for wired listening in lieu of an audio jack. Unless it doesn't cater to mic in, of course.
Is it better than the Sony wh-ch520? Asking because they are the same price right now.
Depends on whether you want over-the-ear plus ANC (Edifier) or on-the-ear w/o ANC (Sony), among other things. If it's purely SQ, I'd go for the Sony.

I find Edifier one of the best brands.
Indeed - it seems like they listen to their fans.
On the budget side; Boltune and Taotronics. I use them for jogging, so far the only ones I do not hear the internals shake.

Hey Aaron, it's me again, another entertaining and informative video. In my opinion, I would like better multipoint than LDAC, I like good quality music but sometimes the LDAC is just a slight difference, and multipoint is more enjoyable.
I discovered your channel searching for a pair of earbuds under 100 dollar and thanks to your review of the space a40 now I'm very happy with a pair of my own. I find it really entertaining and unique how you risk your life in your backyard 😂, and give us such detailed reviews. I got my wife to suscribe to your channel, her username is Elisa Hernandez. @@gearupaaron Yeah, i do enjoy the high resolution and the lossless quality listening to RAM from daft punk or the scary pockets (thanks for the recommendations I really enjoy their covers since then) for example. However, in my personal use of the earbuds i own, is more usable the multipoint and the smart pause features.
