DEHANCER... better than FILM?

There is a growing number of Photographers going back to film..... but many of us (myself included) don't want to shoot film.
I just don't like the whole process of shooting film but having said that I sometimes feel the digital photos have become so "perfect" almost unreal... so digital ... that it looks boring, plastic-i and fake. Is the character gone?
What happens when you add digital noise, to replicate film grain... the result are usually really bad... at least until now?
I recently got Dehancer, plugin for Lightroom and Photoshop, and I must admit the result is surprising.
In this video let's talk about Dehancer, my two cents: what I like and what I don't like. There is more to it than grain... you can select film stock and replicate other imperfections/character of film shooting.
