In simple words: Trying to be a complete copy of Ayanokoji is wrong because of his negative aspects such as lack of empathy. But going through self-improvement while using Ayanokoji's positive traits as an example is a better way of using his character.
Ayanokoji is an ideal male figure for some guys because he's everything they're not. He's a genius, he's very strong, he's very skilled at almost everything he does, and he has women that like him. It's the Fight Club thing. “I look like you wanna look, I fuck like you wanna fuck, I am smart, capable, and most importantly, I'm free in all the ways that you are not.” That sort of mentality is damaging to a lot of guys, and freeing to a lot of others, because they think that true freedom and control is in those things, when really true freedom and true control is in mastering yourself, not others. What Ayanokoji is considered, imho, is a high functioning psychopath. He isn't violent for the sake of it, and he won't hurt people he doesn't have to, but he doesn't feel emotions. "I don't feel anything at all," he said to Ryuen, after all.
@@MrRWord I should have been more verbose. It's not that he doesn't "feel emotions" so much as he feels them in a very self-centered way. Everything he does is for his personal gain, after all. That's what makes him a character dudes shouldn't aspire to be. He lacks a lot of empathy, but fakes it well. He might be somewhere between psychopathy and sociopathy, really. For reference, sociopaths do not feel emotions the same way as non-sociopaths, and are usually extremely adept at faking emotions and empathy.
@@ImJCyoHe does NOT lack empathy. He has an incredibly high amount of cognitive empathy. Also, you are also wrong about him being a "psychopath" because he doesn't "feel fear," psychopaths do feel fear, though, their fear response is more diminished. The fact that there are certain neurological conditions that make you not feel fear makes this an inaccurate abduction on your part. That + I don't think you understand Ayanokoji, at all. It would be much more accurate for you to say he's a machiavellian. He isn't outright self-centred, either. And if you want to go there, debatably anything any human being does is for some sort of personal gain. Ayanokoji doesn't only manipulate people, he IMPROVES them. He has actively improved major flaws certain characters have. People like Ayanokoji because it's the ultimate power fantasy for specifically the shy guys. So I guess you're right there, in a sense? Ayanokoji isn't a moral figure by any means. And engaging in manipulative behaviours is absolutely scummy and affects the way you bond with people. I just wanted to point out certain things I disagreed with in your comment.
unfortunately, anime ruined ayanokojis character, and completely eliminated his depth and true ideology, what really makes ayanokoji a character with whom you simpithize with, is his harsh past and his search for feeling emotion and finding his sense of self again, trying to become human again, not the fact that he manipulates others for the sake of himslef

Heh, what I love about these “I’m literally Ayanokoji” people is well, they are what Ayanokoji aspires to be. Ayanokoji just wants to be a normal person, who can live a normal life. He wants to have a girlfriend, have friends, and wake up happy and free. Ayanokoji wants to be like us, while the wannabes wanna be like him. Ironic.
There seems to be a balance then. People should try to be themselves while gaining the skills of Ayanokoji without losing their personalities. I was one of these guys until I watched this video 💀
You bring good points, but I still think that Ayanokoji is a character worth idolizing. Emotions are important, but humans aren't able to avoid them, because of various scientific as also habitual resons. Of course there are exeptions, but these are mostly people with problems which are either connected with trauma or malformation inside the bodysystem. I believe there are many great qualities to learn from Ayanakoji as well as his growth mindset. I know he has flaws, but doesn't make him that human? What makes him an inspiration is also the fact that he ses them and tries to better himself. I am pretty sure that he is a fabulous character and definetly not a MISTAKE. Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is a character who wants to experience normality because he is aware of his abnormal upbringing and his deep going flaws. He is doing the hardest thing possible: changig his habits and working on himself, I think that is a trait worth to be applauded!
Becoming like Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, the protagonist from Classroom of the Elite, is a personal journey that no one can truly prevent. Ayanokouji's defining traits include his intelligence, emotional control, and ability to manipulate situations to his advantage-all while maintaining a facade of indifference. These characteristics stem from his rigorous upbringing and self-discipline, and anyone can cultivate similar traits with dedication and focus. Nobody can stop me from following in Ayanokouji's footsteps.
Inspiration is fine but you have to remember the environment Ayanokoji was raised. And his methods are f*cked up, it is not possible to have his own stats. Like you can do it your own way, not someone who needs to f*cked up anyone for self interest. -His intelligence is unrealistic (e.g He has a lifetime knowledge a human can have) which is fallacious -He has absurd strength that is way unrealistic -He does moron things because that is the way he was raised. It is completely different from real life, he was raised in a lab
Try doing Ayanokoji's method to an unfamiliar environment, I can say goodluck to your life. He can do those things because he is the strongest in his verse.
He's a fictional character, all his flaws (everyone has them) can be hidden easily making him seem like a 200 IQ genius, following someone else's footsteps is always bad because you'll be following their flaws but in this case he has no flaws, his defining traits are something you just develop a skill for in the industry you want to be top at, apart from that saying you actively follow ayanokojis footsteps, either ur too hell bent on the idea or you are 12.
About these cringe videos, I watched a video of "How to get photographic memory like Ayanokoji" and honestly the video had really good information about how memory works, some brain science stuff and how you can improve it, I agree that most of the "how to ---- like Ayanokoji" videos are cringe, but (rarely) some of them can really help or inspire someone (unless it's like "How to manipulate everyone like Ayanokoji", that's cringe and smth really bad to get inspiration), at some point it's interesting to think about it
Some videos are actually good but most people who wants to be ayanokoji dont use critical thinking. They learn things that makes them bad and think they are actually doing good. most of them are probably not mentally stable and have low self esteem so they want to like him because they want attention.
Ironic that Ayanokoji want to be human and have his ability to feel emotions again but most of us r trying to be like his emotionless self, well yeah control over ur emotions and ability to think clearly without getting overwhelmed by them is a good ability, also being calm and stoic is no problem but being completely selfish would just lead society to being doomed. And i dont think anybody can really say that ayanokoji is a perfect human as nothing is perfect and he isnt even a human if he cant feel in first place
Unfortunately there is no healthy way to live without feeling emotions. Trying to kill off your emotional side will only make you depressed and estranged from yourself. You are an emotional creature, and that's something you just have to come to terms with.
cool video dude , great style ! , i dont agree completely however, about the outward social skills part i agree with you , its not me nor anyone else in the world who could be that guy realistically , "ego will destroy you unless you have the most" this quote doesn't exactly fit here but since he has all of his stats maxed , he could tilt the table whenever he feels like it so socials doesn't really matter as long as his manipulative skills are so strong that they network like a dictator, however i do want to take inspiration to follow ayanokouji for his bold and strength of his self character ,it just literally defies me to a next level. of course manipulation may not be a great idea but his approach just puts a different view to society where you must pull stings to survive , thats the reason i want to live it ,i may not reach his skills set of education and psychological determination but whats wrong in trying ?
Ayanokōji’s whole point is to NOT be like him. He acknowledges (in both anime and LN) himself as not having a healthy mindset and dislikes that he’s like this.
While i always think that compelling characters can be learned from "wow, look at that drive to improve himself, and his ambition", there is a danger when immature or damaged people (and I mean those in the literal sense of the word, not as an insult) come across a character like this and decide that they need to become him. They can lack the wisdom needed to see that a character like that is inherently dysfunctional.
I'd agree with it all if the opposing situations that would have arisen from him working with the group, standing out and letting his emotions make him act prematurely wouldn't have made everything far worse Imagine the Island arc with Ruen knowing how competent he was Imagine him not working on the class prez of 1D Imagine him not stepping in to save the girl from IB Worse of all, imagine the whole of s2 and s3 without kei being his informant I get how moral ambiguity is frowned at more than all out evil because of the unpredictability factors but bro we leaving in a world where everything the morally upright should hate is being glorified already Heck humanity being a social race is still flawed by our usual "excessive" desire to be emotional and attached to each other Bro should have been left alone as he had wanted but society wanted him. In the end he's his class' best hope against the monsters in his school. I really like the guy. He's basically me only I grew up with the emotional attachments that don't let me go all out while he didn't. What's the main diff? I resolve issues--when I can be bothered, he decides on what to do and resolves the issues that come with it

The point is to have the ability to be able to 'be like Ayanokoji' when necessary. There are times when it is required to detach yourself from your emotions and view situations and people objectively. There are times when a pragmatic, results focused approach with a disregard for conventional morality and ethics is necessary. Besides, human beings are manipulative by nature; those who claim they don't use manipulation, at least to some degree, are lying not only to you but to themselves. We certainly do use people as tools to serve our own purposes. It's just that most people do it unconsciously and/or haphazardly. The difference then lies in the level of skill and awareness that is applied.
You mentioned that he avoids his father, though the reason he does that is because that his father has tortured almost every kid in the white room whenever they met failure in development. This environment was obviously the most competitive, and since Kiyotaka was referred to as "the masterpiece", it was leading to even more punishment for those who couldn't be around his level.
Indeed. In fact what people tend to not realise is that the Most valuable pieces for improvement are those you obtain through realising what you want, what you Wish to seek for and obtain by Yourself. What Works for you the best is Out of the Precise topics anyone can give
