I like this, a right to the point explanation. It works form me. A well formed story is vital to video, for the viewer to understand. That's of course your work is intended to be abstract. By the way that will be 50% off of free.

I thought you were going to talk about continuity from shot to shot. In your example, the girl runs to the right (first shot), the right again (the second shot), and then enters left (third shot). Isn't this breaking continuity between shots because she runs off screen right and continues right, but enters left on the last shot breaking continuity. Make sense? Or is this topic for another episode? If not, can it be because I feel it would be a good talking point for basic filmmakers out there.

A video I made for film school was simply just my hand plugging in electric plugs into a long electric distributor (is that what they're called?). And in two parallel shots they were plugged in facing two different directions. It was intentional, because if someone didn't care, they didn't notice and it looked better in both shots. The brain can amazingly block out all kinds of continuity failures.

I got it, but it went from the end of the screen(right) to the start(left) just as you where saying from the start to finish... :O

I have to say that I've never spent as much time in someone's video description as I had yours (It's also the most expensive description I've read lol). Do you ever plan on doing an episode dedicated to showing the most essential DIY videos on TH-cam? I know Indy Mogul and Film Riot does this a lot, but I'd like to see what you think are the best DIY videos out there so some people don't have to scurry though entire channels :)
