It's okay, everyone. I received an email reply from David. He is doing well and is reconstructing his property. He informed me that he will be making more videos soon. Wishing him all the best.
Hi David, I, like many other people, I suspect, are wondering where you are?. Hopefully, you're well and just taking a break from TH-cam, we are missing your incredible video builds. See you soon?, Lawrence
I checked his website but nothing else. His site has no change to it and from what I can tell neither does his Facebook. I don't have FB so there was only so much I could see. Like you, I dearly hope he is OK and only taking time off.
I love watching all of your videos. Half of the time they inspire me to try and take my modeling skills to a new level. The other half of the time they make me want to throw out all my stuff and find an entirely new hobby. Keep doing what you do sir!
As soon as I saw that engine, I was sure you were gonna bust out the razor saw and open up the hood, but then you didn't. Only the true Lisan al Gaib would be so humble! Amazing work as usual!
Dear Mr Plasmo, I guess that your life outside the model room is taking a priority now. That’s fine- when you get back, I am sure that we will all be here… Kind regards, Z
Painting such kind of models at high level (as here) takes more time and it is much more difficult than painting armor. Well done my friend, great Job.. Great!
I agree. It looked good in real, but in detailed photos not so much. 😅 I have already drawn new instruments and printed them. Since I must remove the steering wheel for the driver figure installation, I will replace the instruments also. 😉
Ahh,you saw the piece on the kitmakers forum, its just incredible what he has achieved, you are an amateur in comparison,me I cant stop getting glue on everything, thanks Plasmo, awesome as always
I recently got back into model building your work is very good I have built one museum quality model decades ago it is on display on uss massachussetts your are my favorite
Me building 1/24 and 1/25 scale cars thinking I'm good- Plasmo-These tires are historically inaccurate and I can't have that. Great work, wish i could learn more teqniques and put them to good use the way you do
David, I like very much, that you show us scenes from Czech history now and then! The T-62 in Prague 1968, now the assassination of Heydrich 1941. Go ahead this way! Thank you, very much!
2 a year is still fun. Don't give up when you're busy. The models will always be there when you have time. I'm wrapping one up I've spent the last 6 months on. No hurry, not perfect, but the fun is still there. Plus my kids love to work on their models with me.
3:49 you can get better results if you use a needle. You need the needles used by entomologists to pin insects (very thin, black oxide coated needles with a brass pin head (made from brass wire twisted and soldered into position)). They aren't as easily found these days (the markets are flooded with cheaper alternatives, but if you look around, you usually stumble upon them, alternatively, check forums in your area, someone's bound to have one to spare), but they're perfect for this, because once you ditch the pin head, you can flatten that end with a stone and use it to draw fine details. The metal is high quality and it won't bend and because it's rough on the surface, it's going to keep ink without splotching your work piece.
Fantastic (as usual). I recently tried the Green Stuff World chrome acrylic paint, both the airbrush and hand brush formulations. They are easy to use and provide a chrome finish at least as good any chrome paint I’ve tried. Unfortunately not distributed in North America but they can be ordered online and are relatively inexpensive , so even with shipping costs from Spain the cost is reasonable.
As always a great work and a lot of fun to watch some plastic parts transforming into an fantastic scalemodel. BUT, am I the only one who sees a "friendly face" when it comes to the front of the car?😅 The 2 upper lights looking like eyes 👀 and the middle light is the nose 👃 😂 Greetings from Berlin, Germany✌🏻

"I am not precise, so I prefer masking." Sir, I've seen enough of your videos to know you are the definition of precise.
Absolutely he is!!
Hell yeah! King Plasmo!
I laughted out loud when he said that! 😂

Historically accurate tire treads?! NOW THAT IS DEDICATION!
He is just unreal isn't he!

Also Plasmo: "This tire pattern is wrong"

@@RangerBrian-if3nt - Looking forward to updates !
Feels like a good while since I’ve had the delight of a Plasmo video notification pop up on my feed. Hope all is well man
Hey, David! Hope you're all right. Give us a sign that you're there!
He said in the video that it is for a diorama, maybe he is making that

I loved this build. A simple kit brought to life through your skills. Now, Imagine how cool it would be if this had been a fire engine!

Or he had modelled the damage caused during the assassination....
That icm kit is beautifully detailed, but your approach to the painting takes it to another level, i cannot wait for the diorama.
Same here

That’s fine- when you get back, I am sure that we will all be here…

Always a good day when Plasmo drops a video. You have been spoiling us lately my friend. Excellent work as usual.

This was a great build, a historic car that was common in that era but you never see modelled.
Plasmo, I hope you are enjoying a good break from TH-cam. Good luck for your next project. Your builds are amazing.
ngl, that dashboard made me laugh a little every time i saw it. it's such a contrast to the rest of the car which is so nicely painted. xD

@@idaemonplasmo This is so true, IRL models always look 10x better than on screen somehow, can't imagine how good yours must look IRL 😅
The best chrome I've ever seen is Molotow's Liquid Chrome. Literally after the parts were sprayed, they looked just a shiny as the airbrush that was.
There's nothing Plasmo can't do! Every model he builds has artistic license!
Plasmo we miss you
Always look at your work as inspiration
He puts more effort into models than I do in life

Hey plasmo (david) i hope your making a masterpiece or taking a break its been a while. And you where my inspiration to get into the hobby.
I like the variety in the red and the super polished black.
Absolutely brilliant, can always count on one of Plasmo's videos for inspiration when I lose motivation with my own builds 👍 Awesome mate!

Beautiful job. I went with the blue Luftwaffe version. BTW...the real car still exists and has been restored.
I want to see Plasmo do a dinosaur. A nice Triceratops, maybe. He could weather the horns.
I like the different subject. Interesting.
