This was the first proposal breakup I really felt for the girl. Others have been sad, but this one, ugh I could feel her heartbreak. Her response was raw, as if the cameras weren’t there. And yes, she spoke the truth about him knowing. She’s an intelligent girl who can sense unspoken emotions.

It's such an unrealistic situation and puts too much pressure on everyone. Get rid of the Fantasy Suite and also the engagement and you will see a much better show.
@@laisanibale2154 she was not "violated" in any way. Shame on these producers. They're worse every year.He told the truth every. single. day. even when it was very uncomfortable and inconvenient. Every day he said "I have not made a decision yet" "I am taking it day by day. And I'm taking it very seriously." He repeated this. And was definitely stressed! She signed up to be 1 in 35 women...she picked him for a REASON...then attempted to villainize him all of a sudden when she isn't his choice. Kaity would not have done that. As the show proved her love for him and their love for eachother is pretty unconditional!
It's ok to be hurt, but to attack a good guy's character? The show should have celebrated the real relationship rather than draw attention to the dark dark cloud Gabby tried to cast over it.🤦.

I really was hoping he would choose her. The other one seemed fake to me, but Idk. I didn't watch this season. She was so heartbroken.
For someone who claimed he didn’t want to lead anyone on, he certainly failed to do that here. If he is telling the truth and he knew it was Kaity a little while before this, then he once again did wrong by Gabi.
If I could describe Zach in one word, it’s thoughtless. He is very bad at thinking things through and how it will affect other people. He sleeps with Gabi and then tells her he has to tell Kaity, ignoring Gabi’s concerns from earlier and that Kaity has had issues in the past of people not being faithful to her. He shames Greer for her comments about her career. He shamed Jess for her tears and frustration. And as Ariel already pointed out, undermined her trust and autonomy by shutting out her decision about overnights and keeping her in the dark about sleeping with Gabi.
The guy doesn’t think things through and his thoughtlessness is going to get him in trouble.
Sean Lowe was always someone who never disrespected anyone’s feelings and was good at letting them go without being rude about it. There’s knowing you don’t have a future together and then there’s what Zach did to Gabi both here and in fantasy suites. If he knew what he wanted with Kaity, then he should have let Gabi go the night before.
I really hope Zach does some serious growing after this and learns from it.
I agree with that. I'm about to watch him send Gabs home for the first time. I didn't watch the entire season. So I can't really speak on it, but if he knew he wasn't gonna choose Gabs, he should have never slept with her.
Most men on average are exactly like Zach and very thoughtless towards the emotional toll it takes on the people around them doing all this sleeping together and multi- dating.

Totally agree. I don’t know if this is true but it seems like they’ll sleep with the person even though they’re not that sure about them because they know that they can’t do this once they’re engaged.

Gabi is a class act, no question. She handed the rejection with so much grace, but at the same time showed healthy emotions. As for Zach, I just think he gets too tied up trying to keep everyone happy, especially the producers. Plus there are times as a man you've just got to STFU and let a girl talk or just deal with things herself. I think if you DO really love someone sooner or later you have to "break the rules" for them because if you don't this can be the result, another great girl and a really viable engagement goes down the toilet. Then again Gabi knows this too. Tough for her but this is what she signed up for.

The part just before this when she says to the limo driver “Don’t park here when you bring Kaity” was absolutely devastating.
Yh for real , it was . Gabby is a strong woman she will be okay it will take some time but she will get there and find her person . All along she knew kaity was the one but she had hope.

He's a class A jerk. She dodged a bullet. I'm happy for Katy. This is the first good thing in her life but I wouldn't have chosen her. Bad family background and she was drunk in one of the shots. Ariel is fantastic but I am pretty sure she will marry another Jew. Gaby was much too good for him and I would have chosen her.

It was so sad when she questioned her worth and felt 'unlovable'. Gabi, you are beautiful inside out. If you didn't win, it just wasn't meant to be. You will find love that won't disrespect you, that won't hurt you, that will cherish you to the fullest AND WILL PUT YOU FIRST. You will find that, I promise you even thought I'm just a random person on the internet. I can assure you you will find happiness and love in yourself, in people and one day a partner. Lots of love to all the participants. It's a rollercoaster of emotions.
God I felt this so hard. I always related to Gabi so much and even though I wanted it to be them in the end I had a bad feeling about it too. She’s so sweet and funny and genuine. It broke my heart when she said “don’t say it” because she couldn’t bear to hear the words. There’s no easy way to go about this but it felt so ice cold because all her fears were coming true and she deserved better. Her talking about how she had a gut feeling but still held onto that little sliver of hope because maybe it was just her anxiety is so so relatable.

People hate on Zach for leading Gabi on, but when Clare left with Dale early knowing he was what she wanted, people still gave her so much hate. Andi also lead Nick on during her season, and I was shocked that some people were mad that he asked her why she was intimate with him, knowing he wasn't the one during AFTR.

It’s just plain rude and hurtful to use them for sex and then turn around and propose to someone else! If they’re so “in Love”with their chosen person, how can they get intimate in bed with another partner the night before proposal? They should know by now who their person is and not have the heart to do that! But they still do it anyway! 🤷🏻♀️

Hot take: Gabi was not ready for an engagement. Gabi clearly has a lot of insecurities that she needs to work on. Most guys do not like when girls are constantly crying about feeling insecure and not being confident in their relationship. Not to mention the fact that Zack made it known he didn’t want to have sex in fantasy suite, and she lead with “well see”, if the genders reverse that would be seen as a huge red flag. Now yes Zack is a grown man and you should’ve said no, but when you go on the show, you have to go in with the idea that it may not be you in the end. I felt like Zack anyways knew it was the blonde girl (I keep forgetting her name) he even said in the live studio audience that he always knew it was the blonde girl. Zack should have ended things with Gabi before the proposal ceremony. This guy is dead honest. You couldn't find anyone MORE conscientious! To the point where he tells on himself! He's REAL. Gabby's attempt to demonize an honest being just reveals that he had the right instincts🤷♀️! It's one thing for her to be hurt (which is natural), but to retaliate with malice and shame him for being an honest human, saying "he was stringing me along"... There was no stringing along. The viewer can see he only had clarity after Kaity said "I love you" to him and after her genuine meeting with his family. Kaity took a bit longer to warm up (understandably). But Kaity is a romantic and so sooo sweet. He is also very very sweet (to a fault but it's not a fault, because I love him for that)! THE FACT IS that the woman he chose is amazing!!! And he made the right choice! Him making the right choice doesn't mean he wanted to hurt someone. If he hurt a fly it would be by accident. Gabby's attack on his character however...THAT is intentional. She uses his conscientiousness to hurt him. I don't like people who do that. She would have steamrolled him if they were together, and probably did so in the fantasy suite. He chose a life-partner instead of a 5year old. So what he said he was intimate with her! He had to be honest! The world knows that that happens between adults. And if he hadn't been honest and open with the world about it Gabby (as we see her character here) would have shouted it at the top of her lungs on the final show. He picked the partner with a bigger heart instead.
