Hi Rowan- I used to live in NO and wanted to give you a couple safety tips: keep in mind a lot of places that are fine during the day wouldn’t be good to stay overnight. The Garden District sounds glamorous, but it’s mostly pretty dangerous after dark, and don’t stray from the well lit/well traveled parts of the French Quarter. The area close to Tulane (Uptown) is probably your safest bet in town (and of course, make sure you’re locked up anywhere). NO is my fave city in the world, especially this time of year- have fun!!

I had my African Grey parrot, Ringo, for 37 years and he was 8 when my mom got him. When she passed, I inherited him bcz no one in the family wanted him…and he was pretty much bonded with me. When he got sick, I hoped he would bounce back…the vet was awesome and it seemed like he was coming back to his old self but he did pass. He was approx. 45 years old ) Gawd…I never cried as I cried when I lost him. 37 years in my home was a long time! But, he gave us a lot of fun memories! I hope that little guy finds his home or someone that can take him in. He looks like he belonged to someone by how friendly he was. NOLA looks like it was fun! That city is on my bucket list!
Amazing💚I can't imagine how hard you felt the loss. I am still a wreck from the loss of my 14+yo senior dog last July. It's a hurt that doesn't go away, we just have to keep going and love them in a different way🫂❤️🩹

6 years ago I drove i-10 by myself from Biloxi across Louisiana, through Houston and up to the hill country just northish of Austin. Visited a friend and spent some time in nature then back to Houston for a few days then backtracked and spent a few days in NOLA then back to Biloxi to wait for my first grandbaby's birth. Amazing journey! Seeing the i-10 signs made me feel that feeling again! I can hardly wait to get back to road tripping soon. Hopefully by midsummer🙏thank you for this! I enjoy you so much!🫂🩵

We are cut from the same pattern. Last year we went to town and I seen a group of seagulls , and one had a bad foot. That made me sad and I had to just pray for him , I know God cares even For the birds. God bless you for having such a kind soul.

Oh, I loved this! That bird had to be domesticated! He probably flew out of someones home. I used to have a cockatiel and when he was on my shoulder he would peck at my necklace or earrings. Those were kisses! The jambalaya looked fabulous.😘

I loved this video! I was in New Orleans about a year ago visiting family. They didn't live too far from the city. You were driving past all streets and business we had walked and drove by. New Orleans looked dull and dirty, but I realize its the off-season. Nothing like the movies...lol! The bird is surely missing his home. Sweet baby. Sad for him. He wont last long on his own. He needs the right food. Iam sure someone is looking for him. ❤ Nice video!

I loved this video! I was in New Orleans about a year ago visiting family. They didn't live too far from the city. You were driving past all streets and business we had walked and drove by. It was at Halloween time, so much to see and a lot of fun. Cool Beans!!
