They definitely have some quarks to get used to but once you understand what's happening I feel like you wouldn't regret it. Most efi issues are due to contaminants in one way or another.
Iv had mine for almost 2 years absolute beast but DO NOT let it set with fuel in the tank you will have fuel problems upgrade the swirl filter to the billet brown like what was done here and that will eliminate most problems! Also fuel cap is where you get most of your junk from it gets hard and breaks off into the tank and that’s what clogs stock filter up 95% of the time!
I had issues when I tried running 2 filters (stock and inline) it doesn't allow the gas to glow as fast as it needs to and it would die so I just run an inline filter. Just thought I should share my experience
Hey, I'm from the UK & just bought a LTR450 & found your channel. Will be doing a swirl delete asap so wondered why you left yours on if using the inline filter? Also, I know people have already asked where you got the inline filter but can you let me know what size the fittings they are on the fuel pump end & fuel tank end? Thanks
Hi there, I left both filters inline because the stock swirl is actually a really good filter, leaving the clear one on the side I can monitor fuel flow to see if the swirl plugs up. The hose size is 5/16 that I used.
Great video man. I really wanna get an LTR. My last Suzuki was a Z400. Loved that thing!!
Got more on the way.
Beautiful LTR!
Thank you
Hi, I have an ltr450 that cuts out when its warmed up, could that be a fuel issue?
My guess without doing any test would be valves getting tight, or fuel system. There are a bunch of places to test fuel pressure and fuel flow.
@@SeanMooreFilms perfect thanks, I will look into it more
If you have the manual it's very helpful with showing how and where to test fuel.
I'm actually currently working on a video showing how I test my system and clean my injector.
I was about to buy one of these heard they have a lot of problems with the efi?

Yes, I notice my 2nd filter starts starving for fuel once my swirl gets slightly dirty. I just change the swirl when that happens.
I also ended up buying one of the fuel filter funnels that I now use religiously
Hey man i just got an ltr and wanted to install a dealer mode switch. Did you end up doing a video on it?
I never did a video specific to that, but the switch shares the cherry bomb plug. It shows the pins to use in the manual also.
Oh i dont have the manual. I just got the bike
If you are on the LTR450HQ Facebook page, it has a files section with tons of useful information.
Right on man. Thank you i will join them
Where you get ur fuel line filter right there at?
That one is from summit if I remember right. I searched around to find blue instead of black or chrome.
Can we get a link to the fuel line and filter?
I don't have a link but you can find it at summit racing or even Amazon.
Where did you buy that fuel line with the fuel filter??
Fuel line from Amazon
Where did u buy that swirl filter man looks dope
The side one isn't the swirl filter but I bought it from summit racing if I remember correctly.
