In the description it seems that the alkaline effluent is discharged without being neutralized which is shocking. The treatment of bones in an acidic environment allows them to dissolve completely and provides a mixture of gelatin and calcium hydrogen phosphate.
How much energy is used to produce potassium hydrochloride, high pressure, just to speedup effect achieved by simple burying? And it produces no effluents, fertelizes the soil directly,
Traditional cremation: Effluent remains are released to the atmosphere. Eco-friendly cremation: Effluents remains go into the sewer system. I have no problem with this. Only question, how much MORE expensive is this? I see this as a way to make more $$$$$$$$. If you got money to burn, why not. If not, I'll go the way of the slow burn. 🔥🔥
Bones are left over in traditional fire based cremation as well, and there's not really any "ashes". The remains are taken out and placed in a large blender that makes the ashes people think of. Must not have gone to a crematory for research!
It is used up during the process. It’s the same as removing lime with acids. The components interact with the substance and in the end there are just harmless substances.
That is truly disturbing. It's a human sized intantpot to make a stew / sludge out of your loved ones. Then what, it gets' flushed? I didn't watch to the end to find out. Because gross.
There’s one of these in a town south of mine. It’d be great if my bone meal could fertilize some trees.

The process becomes neutral during the chemical reaction. There's nothing to neutralize, please don't spread misinformation.

Burying does not fertilise the soil. Bodies are buried too deep to have any effect on soil fertilty

It is a completely different process to natural decomposition.
Natural decomposition is effected by micro-organisms.
This is a purely chemical process
Good point. I prefer natural... burning.
Soylent Green is PEOPLE!😁
What about use of all the potassium hydroxide? That is some strong alkaline compound. It sounds more like one of those breaking bad stories
It is only a Ph problem, readily rectified by neutralization by an acid.
I thought he was gonna say Blender.
So granny gets dissolved and flushed down the sewer??! Hard to see it getting traction.
No thanks I prefer fire to boiling.
Cost is the only issue. I prefer $$ vs $$$$$$$$$$.
I reality dont care wtf they do with my body once I'm dead.
"Eco Friendly"... An alkaline solution so strong a can decompose a body... yeah, right... And how is that solution disposed of?
it's dumped behind the mortuary ... or sold as weed killer.

It is filtered, purified and reused.
Video said it is put into the city waste water system, which gets treated and sent back as clean water for all to enjoy.
It’s sold in China as Soda Pop

Breathing human remains is better?
Soup and Bones !
Would you like bread with that?
1 step away
from soup of the day.
Somebody will drink that water in 100 years maybe 50 years
dont eat bacon ham pork sir
